I ordered a phantom black after my head has been occupied with phantom silver a lot. Considering that I will be keeping this device for 3 years before upgrading, it is best to go for the colour that is more fun and exciting in the eye, nothing beats Phantom Silver. You gave me a great advice. I will cancel the mate black and go for silver
As someone who spent several days with multiple color options of this phone, you’re definitely making the right choice going with the Phantom Silver over the Phantom Black in my humble opinion. I love black phones, I just think Samsung made it quite boring this time. Ceramic Black S10 Plus and the Prism Black S10e; now those are how you make a black smartphone. Also, if you want to switch it up you can always just slap the official black leather case with that awesome carbon fiber camera housing onto your Phantom Silver. Enjoy the phone!

I agree. Love the carbon fiber finish on the Phantom Titanium‘s camera housing, but that silver metal chassis on the Phantom Silver makes all the difference!

You can easily apply carbon fiber sticker on it.
Titanium looks epic..
I had titanium. Dropped it. Back glass shattered. There are no identical replacements for it. Samsung doesn't make the exact same "titanium" repair kit for it.
*edit* when I got the phone back (Samsung care+) it was a weird shade of silver. Like a dark silver. Looked cheap. Glue all over the edges. No Samsung logo on the back. Had Samsung Care+ manager involved and replaced to a brand new phantom black.
Oh wow, that’s a major bummer. I didn’t even consider whether or not that would be a problem. I hope people considering this color option read your comment.
Silver
This will help the sales of the Silver-Blue-pink. Which I would imagine is less popular than the black version.The silver titanium is much nicer and more premium .Whatever protection you get will hide the colour unless the clear case.
Silver is actually the most popular color hence why they are consistently sold out unlike the black one

What on board storage do you have in the Titanium version?
I had 128GB. I had a 512GB version on order but I canceled it because it was taking too long. It also comes in 256GB, of course.
I have a black S21 Ultra but I changed the back for a silver back. It look weird BUT great. (😅 I know it's sound stupid but not that much.)

Yes, that is correct. It’s a stereo speaker system (2 speakers) and the quality is excellent.

You can, but you have to be careful and you may void any warranty. Also might lose water resistance.

I was aiming to get the black to be honest. But switch to phantom silver at the last second when I bought it.

Samsung would have continued this design for atleast three years.. i don't know why they just discarded this awesome design just after an year. Very short lived design unfortunately.

I think iridescent is the term you were looking for. At least that's what it looks like on your video. I had trouble choosing between the Phantom Black and Silver but ended up choosing the Silver. I am replacing a Samsung Galaxy S8+ in black so I figured I'd go for a different color. All my past phones from my Motorolas to my Samsungs, they were mostly black except for my Motorola Razor, circa 2004-5, which was silver.

i see i'm pretty late with this question but can you please tell me, does the back on these devices feel like plastic ?
i've had wo different (black) s21 ultra units last week and especially when tapping the back with my nail, on both of them it felt like the worst and cheapest plastic i have ever felt.

If you think those felt like plastic, try the regular S21 :-/. Actual plastic from feel to temperature, etc. That was unacceptable for me. I think the treatment on the black S21 Ultra is heavier than the Phantom. I don't think it'll feel exactly the same but it definitely feels different than non-treated glass, like the more reflective Note20 Ultra (white and black).

Tastes are so different, I would go with titanium without a shade of doubt. Still the best option for my taste is the brown one.
But I'm forced to stick with the silver one, because my supplier has the only option in silver at the moment despite I paid for a black one.
Samsung rated the EU market as a second or third-rated one, and all other phones are complete disaster this year, I have to buy G9980 in China, so no options left.
Thanks to calm me down a little bit, because I really don't like silver at all especially from the front where I have to observe the dumb bezel for the next two or more years.
Update: Unfortunately, you are the only one I found on UA-cam, who prefers the silver one.

Get the one you feel in your heart is your favorite, forget what me or anyone else says. But if you think I'm the only one that prefers the Silver, just read the replies to this video :). Hope you get the one you want.
The black one looks really nice but I feel it would get boring fast. I'm getting the silver one and getting the black leather case so I kinda have the best of both worlds.
Between those 2, titanium all the way.. but phantom brown and phantom navy is a go too.. even phantom black is more appealing to me than the silver one.. to me the silver is the worst..reminds me that of ugly "glory" color of note 10 plus...
