Honestly, if anyone wants a good camera on a smartphone but does not have a big budget - then just buy a 2-3 year old flagship, that'll do the work while also still being fast.
Actually love that too. There are too many youtubers out there praising that only the latest tech is the best and living a life with new devices every few months is what makes you a great person (not told in specific, but that's the message). Then there's JRE who uses a 1,5 year old device and tells people to not buy the newest flagship.
I love how he is never trying to sell us anything with these tests, and tells things like it is. I like the perspective he used here on why he isn't upgrading this year with the New York City video and analogy.
The New York City narrative made the end of this video just insane! Why create a phone for just the Camera? When the phone's from 6 years ago can compete with the phone's of today! And when the phone's of today cost 1200$. Whahoo! This hurts really bad!
It's easier to visualize things with everyday objects instead of tiny increments. For example would you want a 1 Oz shot glass or 40 mL? The only thing good about imperial is that it's easier to measure things in small amounts of large increments instead of large amounts of small ones. Yes I agreed that metric is better now but still, look at our point of view It's also funny that non Americans youtube tech channels refer to our system and use inches for measuring displays, like this phone has 6.8 inch display and most laptops have 15.6 ", same with 2.5" hard drives or sata SSDs P.S some few Brits still use the system aswell, they we're the ones who created it so
@@Vanja_03 I agree, and thank you for not bashing or blatantly hating us like every other non American on UA-cam does, yes we have some flaws but we're not bad people, thanks 😉
Upon using it for a year, it's trash. S23 is a step up, but...s22 was also a downgrade. We're just barely getting back to good phones.

Love my S10. It is two years old now, looks like a brand new phone, and has an SD card slot/headphone jack. The camera bump is centered so it sits flat on a table too. I'll be hanging onto it for a while longer. Best phone Samsung has made in a long time, IMO.
Yeah, I have a s10+. After android 11 update, everything started lagging, its super frustrating because it was expensive when it came out. Might just be because its an exynos version

Also, you really got me with that Galaxy Note 4 video.

"Earpiece is one razor blade thick"
Americans will measure with anything but the metric system.
Stolen
It's easier for us to reference...also I'm not measuring my height or anything else as a decimal
It's easier to visualize things with everyday objects instead of tiny increments. For example would you want a 1 Oz shot glass or 40 mL? The only thing good about imperial is that it's easier to measure things in small amounts of large increments instead of large amounts of small ones. Yes I agreed that metric is better now but still, look at our point of view
It's also funny that non Americans youtube tech channels refer to our system and use inches for measuring displays, like this phone has 6.8 inch display and most laptops have 15.6 ", same with 2.5" hard drives or sata SSDs
P.S some few Brits still use the system aswell, they we're the ones who created it so
@@standupyak Im not against americans, I'm just saying that it would be easier for everyone if everyone used identical measuring system
