Visiting the Seaside Italian Village of Pizzo in Bella Calabria

Just north of Tropea and along the Calabrian coast line of southern Italy is the town of Pizzo. It's easy to drive into or take the train to this beautiful historic village. We enjoyed a nice day trip wandering through the streets, visiting the Cave Church of Piedigrotta and checking out the views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

We just returned from Calabria and Southern Italy last night and your video was the first thing that popped up on my UA-cam feeds. You gave us the inspiration to go to Calabria. We have been a big fan of your UA-cam Channel. We drove 2,500 miles and hiked 72 miles. You both know those can be a tough 72 miles. The craziest thing we did was rent motorcycles and drove around the Amalfi Coast. We have ridden motorcycles a lot in the United States, but nothing prepared us for crazy Italian Drivers and Italian Buses. LOL Seriously, thank you for giving us such great videos of the region and why we will be going back every January, going forward. What a secret that region really is. Like you, we escaped some pretty terrible weather and we way down from you in the middle of the United States, Kansas. Ciao
