Dude you always make me wanna ride. I haven’t been able to ride for about 7-8 weeks because I didn’t know I had a stress fracture in my foot and the mri showed I had one. I missed the rest of the riding year over here in ny
I played football on it for 3 weeks so that’s why I have been in this so long

Yo for the big double, if you can hit the "triple" before it, its the same speed. So just hold it all the way through and you go it.

FYI... be careful when you drop out of a jump, as if someone is following you, and you check up on them like that, you will be absolutely cleaned out. Be safe my friend!

i have the same problem with that big ass table on the middle straight. you gotta be flying to jump it!
Hey Derek I saw how u said u were getting sketchy in the sand and I’ve never personally been there at that track yet but from living in Florida the trick is to get on earlier then what u normally would and make sauce u don’t blip or let off at all after and your steering will be so much smoother. I hope this helps!
hey homie thanks for the tip you're totally right! I need to get on the gas sooner and not shift so early in the sand, definitely will keep that in mind next time I ride here.

You say both 125sx and 150? which is it?
Bro just keep a constant throttle delivery throughout the whole face of the jump and ur jumps would be super smooth🤙🏼
Nah it was just the sandy ruts in the jump faces throwing me off, had to stop riding so tense! If I held the throttle open on most of these jumps I would overjump way too far - 2:21 is a good example. If I didn't let off the throttle I would've gone WAY too far.

This was the day after we got hit with the leftovers of hurricane Ian. I was surprised the track looked as good as it did! thanks for watching buddy

You looked so much more fluent and comfortable on the kx250, is there a big difference between the two?
When I rode this track on the KX250 the track conditions were much better. This was the day after hurricane Ian hit so it was very wet and very deep. But yeah the KX250 has much more torque in lower rpm which makes it easier to ride in a deep soil. The 150 needs to be kept at the perfect rpm at all times to rip through deep sand.
That makes a lot more sense now, keep on shredding 🤘
So was this a 125cc made to a 150cc? Just because title says 125 and the video says 150.

Was having issues with it so I tried a different carb and loved it!
@@DerekHallman oh ok. I run a keihen carburetor on my yz 85 it's a really good carburetor
You are a way better rider than me but what about staying in lower gears like even first but keeping your gas open so you dont have that issue of "when i let off the throttle it just stops"
So you can use 100% of a lower gear wont really have to let up as much??
No need for first gear on this track but yeah my issue this day was that I was shifting too soon. Any time I shifted from 2-3 or 3-4 too early in a deep sandy straight the small bore smoker didn't want to move haha. I just need to remember to rev the gears out further all the time.
