Were any of you running a MX14 or similar sand/mud tire? I find that it really helps with steering at the rear and keeping the front end like an arrow. Great vid btw! 🤙🏻
nah we all were running our normal intermediate terrain tires, which definitely didn't do us any favors haha. Thank you man!
I had a Gibson Mud/Sand tire on the YZ. Knobs are similar to a paddle but not scoops.

Sand riding is tough. I live in Southern Utah, so mountains in the summer, desert in the winter and that means a shit ton of sand.

Wet is is easier to ride in tan dry powered sand. I know I’m in Michigan,sand capital of sandy trails.

My uneducated opinion on why you might tuck the front so much is you’re revving your bike out too far and the bike can’t stand you back up because you’re running out of power. I think I’ve seen you hitting some of the corners in 1st gear, and it’s better to hit it in 2nd and feather the clutch a little bit. Just my own opinion, you’re probably a better rider than me anyways😂.
