Knives are silent, and in the right hands, more unpredictable. For instance, the purpose of a butterfly knife doing all those spinny twirlies is much like a nunchuk, using the movements to distract the opponent so they don't expect the next hit. Also, guns are great for far away, but at close range, they lose much of their advantage.

Honestly jeremy is laughing so hard at these moments that im partially convinced they aren't genuine laughs, but the sins off tell me otherwise so, i think he likes this one guys.
Best moment in the whole film, and one of the few times I laughed out loud in a cinema last year, was the end of the knife fight, when the completely shattered Wick shakily picks up an axe/machete/big knife and, hunched over in exhaustion, tosses it in a slow, lazy arc at the last bad guy...and it goes 'thunk' into his head. I loved that bit - it was the kind of wit and lightness of touch that elevates John Wick above other action movies. Both sequels take themselves seriously with the lore and the world-building...and at the same time undercut all of that seriousness with the wry humour. They're big improvements on the original.
Yeah... well... was under the impression he was going to given the choice of a continued contract or forced to off Winston and assume his place for life.. wondering if at some point it'll go that way or if Winston and Co just are still plotting... All he really had to do was shoot first when he saw what was happening?
You should’ve made the “you should’ve led with the steel slugs” sin a double one. Because he also started with a pistol caliber gun, the sig mpx, against people with advanced body armor.
Yeah Taran’s reasoning for that is, the only opening is around the neck, so they wanted it to be a super skilled precision thing, so they went PCC. Was dumb as fuck to me, but I understand it’s all marketing, to sell Tarans customized guns.
Isn’t the fact that when doctor tells John to shoot him he exposes the skin and then takes the shot, but when they get to him he’s not gonna have bullet holes in his shirt? Isn’t that sin worthy?
Since he's a good doctor, he'll probably just take the bullets out. When they come around, he'll just say he pulled them out, and changed his clothes and threw the old ones away. Them believing that is up for debate.
If I can say one thing about this movie. I love that this trilogy doesn’t over complicate things, unlike the matrix. It’s just a fun solidly crafted movie, there’s enough necessary plot, in a fun and interesting world. But the real draw is that the fight scenes are brutal ,thrilling and incredibly well shot and beautifully lit. It’s so refreshing to have an action movie, just be an action movie, it’s beautiful in its simplicity.
I want to watch these movies, but can't get over the fact that Ted from bill and ted's excellent adventure is supposed to be a tough guy. I can suspend disbelief for a lot of movies, but that's asking too much of the viewer. Should have picked a good actor for these movies. There's only one less convincing tough guy in movies. I can't think of his name but he played Poe in Con Air. This guy and that guy should only be cast as the homosexuals that they are
Not complicated? Since 1 they added an entire "High Table", a "High Lord", a system of Judges and sin, apparently John Wick has several markers around which bind people to him, but only according to the rules of the system he's been kicked out from but also they still work (???) there's tiers of assassins, entire clans that rule their own parts of town, regional "managers", lots of the assassins know each other personally... Not complicated at all, no, since they never explain anything they just throw new concepts at you every 2 minutes because people just eat that shit up. xD EDIT: Oh and the guy in the sushi restaurant. Obviously retired, so is this just something assassins can do on the regular, but everyone made such a huge deal about John Wick managing his "impossible" task in the first? Jeez they're just shitting on themselves left and right in this movie.

I know!

Every damn time, the pincushion scene has me dying of laughter. And your joy for the underwater shoot out.....Priceless!! lol

Also there was a P-90 in Winston's armory.
And a ton of rifles.

This guy and that guy should only be cast as the homosexuals that they are
@@carcar5984 Keanu has been doing action movies for quite a while. Most overshadowed his portrayal as an idiot from bill and Ted movies.
Not complicated at all, no, since they never explain anything they just throw new concepts at you every 2 minutes because people just eat that shit up. xD
EDIT: Oh and the guy in the sushi restaurant. Obviously retired, so is this just something assassins can do on the regular, but everyone made such a huge deal about John Wick managing his "impossible" task in the first? Jeez they're just shitting on themselves left and right in this movie.
