Beautiful as always! Whenever you play around with those Jimi songs I realize how good they are in the hands of a master. You really know how to use your gear in the correct way to make it sound complete.
Your videos are amazing 🤩 Also I noticed that you also have a Shin Ei Vibe bro in another one of your videos. I’ve been looking for a vibe bro forever but they are incredibly hard to find for sale on reverb 🤦♂️
Thank you my friend! 🙏🙏 Yes, I had a Shin-ei Vibe Bro, but I ended up selling it a few months ago. Honestly, the preamp was too dark-sounding for my taste. It did have a nice vibe effect though. Greatly appreciate you tuning in! 🙌
Killer man! In a world where I'm soooo tired of hearing dudes trying to cop Hendrix and SRV... videos like yours come along where I'm reminded this music is still so damn cool. Cheers!
@@JimiHendrixEX Thank you! That is something I’m still trying to find out myself. I used to use a Shure MV88, but that is not a great mic for recording. I want to try the Shure SM57.
@johnseventy Sounds killer!. I thought it sounded much different than a Vox "grey wah" and with the vox logo on the treadle it kind of hinted at it. Stu Castledine made me a copy of the Del Casher original in the same enclosure as yours, it's much different than the Italian Clyde circuits. I've not heard of Glen RSVT, I will be though!. Thanks, Peace.
@@keiranbradley3238 that’s awesome! It’s funny you mentioned that, this wah actually used to have a del casher circuit made by Mile High Effects. It was great, but like you said, it had a really different sound, like a more nasal frequency tone. I probably shouldn’t have, but I swapped out the circuit with Glen’s Clyde McCoy circuit. Just couldn’t resist lol. But that del casher sound is really something unique. I still use it sometimes in a different enclosure. And that’s so cool man, Stu makes some amazing stuff 🤘.
@johnseventy Yeah the "grey wah" has a much more pronounced high end piercing tone, quite unique. I've had one of Stu's Supra-Vibes for ages, it's a great unit.
Oh I don’t know exactly, maybe a few hundred dollars for each pedal, but more importantly than the pedals is the amp tone. I’d invest in a good amp if you don’t already have one, crank it, then color the tone with pedals. Honestly, a lot of what people call “boutique” pedals are not too different than other stuff out there.
@@lolwhatugonnado I know what you mean. I’m using a wah and fuzz made by a builder named Glen RSVT. Check him out on Instagram. His stuff might be what you’re looking for 🎶.
Sounds great.... Ezy Ryder one of my favorite Hendrix songs !

Awesome!

Thank you Franco! 🙏🙏 I love your vibe’s preamp. It colors my amp tone beautifully 🎶🎶. Best vibe on the planet 🌍
@@johnseventy I use that preamp a lot…. Especially with an SG it gets the things more warm and round

so true
Gives me feels seeing those pedals laid out - straight on the floor too. 👌🏼
Thanks! 🤘
Awesome

Hey . Please answer. What mic are you using ? Very natural sound ! This amp is orange cr ?
Hi. No mic here, just recorded with an iPhone. Yes, this was through the Orange CR120H through x2 Celestion V30 speakers.
@@johnseventy sounds very good . My Motorola dont get that good a sound. What room mic can you recomenned to record od a close mic?

Really exceptional tones and playing, especially the wah tones!.
Btw is "grey-wah" an original or does it have a custom circuit?.
Thank you my friend! 🙏 This one is an old ‘67-‘68 Vox volume pedal enclosure housed with a modern Clyde circuit built by Glen RSVT.
