@@FunkHitsTheFan No, this was a customization I made with an already existing fuzz face. It was just to be made in the style of the BOG fuzz, not accurate circuit-wise. You should check out Glen RSVT on Instagram. He makes a really accurate clone! 💯

Right on I don't have Instagram but working on getting one of these and replacing some caps for nos Philips and possibly some resistors. Are there trim pots under this board?

Thank you my friend! 🙏 This one is an old ‘67-‘68 Vox volume pedal enclosure housed with a modern Clyde circuit built by Glen RSVT.

@johnseventy Sounds killer!. I thought it sounded much different than a Vox "grey wah" and with the vox logo on the treadle it kind of hinted at it. Stu Castledine made me a copy of the Del Casher original in the same enclosure as yours, it's much different than the Italian Clyde circuits. I've not heard of Glen RSVT, I will be though!. @@keiranbradley3238 that’s awesome! It’s funny you mentioned that, this wah actually used to have a del casher circuit made by Mile High Effects. It was great, but like you said, it had a really different sound, like a more nasal frequency tone. I probably shouldn’t have, but I swapped out the circuit with Glen’s Clyde McCoy circuit. Just couldn’t resist lol. But that del casher sound is really something unique. I still use it sometimes in a different enclosure. And that’s so cool man, Stu makes some amazing stuff 🤘.

@johnseventy Yeah the "grey wah" has a much more pronounced high end piercing tone, quite unique. I've had one of Stu's Supra-Vibes for ages, it's a great unit.

I didn’t like the Vibe-Bro too much. The preamp was really dark and “mushy”. Overall weaker effect. I highly recommend the Argenziano Gypsy-Vibe. Much closer to the sound of the originals.

@@johnseventy i mean actually the symmetry of the movement from the lfo. Some new pedals have a trimpot for that, but i wonder if there is a way to change that wobble on a classic unit..

That’s cool man! The king tone is a very great sounding vibe. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend the shin Ei vibe-bro. It has a really muddy sounding preamp and there are better vibes out there for the money. Sold mine a while ago for a Unique-vibe.

@@johnseventy well that's good to know. 1968 is very clear. One of the things I liked about the mdv3 was the muddy preamp but it made thr effect itself kinda useless. I just used it as a boost/always on for a while which can't really do w the 1968. The actual modulation itself is perfect. Idk not enough ppl appreciate the univibe, always cool seeing someone else still using the circuit.

I’d say they are pretty close! The unique may have a slight edge in terms of intensity and max speed, but other than that they are very similar in sound. 🎶

@@johnseventy thanks! very interesting, i almost got a unique some years ago, now unluckily he paused the business for some time, so i decided for an argenziano. good to hear that, cant wait ;)) you seriously nail the sound man, spot on with just the right pedals, thats quite rare, most people overdo it and some small pedals just dont sound right haha... they need space to sound good ;D

This is one of the videos where I recorded with the Shure MV88 condenser mic. I feel like it focused the sound better than the iPhone mic, but the trade off is you get more of a “flat”, trebly recording. The Uni-vibe tone suffered a bit as a result.
