- I’ve looked in every nook and cranny to spot every character in the Mos Eisley Cantina! For the characters with Hasbro 3.75” action figures I’ve figured out the best one and what series it’s from for you to track down.
UPDATE!!!! Since the creation of this video Hasbro has released dramatically better versions of some of these characters, while I can’t edit the video, I can edit this description and I will keep this as up-to-date as possible!

Yeah…..Sorry about that….At least most of the cantina aliens aren’t as expensive as the Jabba’s Palace ones
This video is now very useful. I knew about many of the characters thanx to Decipher SW CCG card game, but here you took it to the extreme :) and checked every possible character there. Great job.

Great! Hopefully Hasbro’s “Return to Tatooine” will bring more of these unmade characters into action figure form, and I’ll make an update!
The shoulder of the unknown character next to the duros is the devaronian demon guy, the shoulder had smoke around it, and the demon guy had smoke behind it too
I don’t know, if you watch this video, ua-cam.com/video/CNfIQVplY9U/v-deo.html at 0:16 you can see the shoulder much better, and I think the sleeve is too light to be the devaronian demon guy’s ( he appears to be wearing dark brown sleeves).

Man i havent seen the ewok throne c-3po in ages, i had one as a kid. Its wild how in depth the cantina scene became. Everyone has a backstory 🤯

Pretty good, very nice use of reference photos but you missed about 5 background humans (4 in the back left, a second bureaucrat, 2 guys against the wall and one behind Jabba's bearded henchman at the bar and one sitting with Swilla and the Greedo on the right in a blue jacket), also for Jenny and especially Swilla Corey, the comic 2 pack figure of Cammie is wearing an identical outfit (Jenny's is red instead of tan) and is an easy custom with a head swap.
Thank you! I plan on doing an update with the missed characters in the future. I am currently working on a Cantina customs video, too, and I will be featuring a Swilla Corey custom. I use a GI Joe: Rise of Cobra Cover Girl Figure for the head and of like you suggested a Camie Marstrap body.

Some of these characters you can get are available on custom remakes like stan solo for example , one of the tonnika sisters asked for likeness rights to get paid so Lucas refused to make any figures , one who is still alive shes has a Facebook page

I've been collecting Star Wars figures since about 2008 when the Clone Wars came out when I was younger. I've either accumulated most of these figures from Kmart or Walmart back in the day like Kal Fas and Leesub Sirlin. Others I've bought on Ebay for somewhat decent prices. Still need a Dr. Evazan and the worm looking alien that I can't remember her name. I've always loved the Cantina and Tatooine scenes so I was glad to back it during this Haslab campaign. Hope we still get Arliel Schous!
Yeah, I remember picking up Hrcheck Kal Fas at WalMart Buy one Get One free two packs where they literally glued 2 figures back to back….If only I had known how rare they’d be! I’d have bought so many more!

He is...I briefly mentioned that there were two snaggletooth characters in the scene, but I only mentioned Takeel by name. Zutton is the other one. However, he looks very much like Takeel, not like the Zutton that was made in the Power of the Jedi line...that shorter Zutton is only seen in the Cantina scene from the 1978 Holiday Special.

Pretty sure the "Doctor Who" spacesuit the Spacer (&later Bossk wears) might have first been used in the movie 'First Men on the Moon' during the opening by the astronauts. That movie was way back in the 50's, before Doctor Who, I believe.
Boshek's spacesuit is ALSO shown in the same movie & same scene.
I think you’re right- I looked it up and the first picture was 3 people in those suits- 2 yellow, 1 blue/black. It’s actually called “First men IN the moon.” Thanks for pointing that out. If they ever make a few more cantina figures I’ll make an “Update” video and mention that.
@@noskillcustoms - Yup. You're right! The actual title is "in" not "on", which somehow sounds incorrect until you watch the movie (or read the book it's based on).
Here's hoping we FINALLY get a proper Mos Eisley cantina from Hasbro, maybe as a future HasLab project? If so, I can see Hasbro come out w/more figures.
No doubt you're aware that, since you made this video, Hasbro came out w/the entire Bith band in a brand new multipack. Did you pick one up?

For the cantina spacer I just modified a Boshek in a yellow flight suit
Special Effects Artist Rob Bottin played the tallest of the cantina musicians. Did FX artist Phil Tippitt also play one of the musicians?
I feel like I read that somewhere, but I don’t know the source. I’m pretty sure people have deduced who played who based on their sneakers in behind the scene photos.

I am trying to get Star Wars Black Aliens just in case I can someday do a Cantina scene. In Aliens I have Chewbacca of course and I have fellow Wookie Zaalbar ordered, hopefully coming this month. Then I have Zeb and Hera from Rebels, Jaxxon, Kit Fisto, I can throw in a few Klingon's too. After that though it's humans and Mandalorians who look like humans. I do have Greedo, and Ventress and the other female bounty hunter on preorder too. I have a pair of Tusken Raiders, but not sure they would go to the Cantina. Hopefully we will get a Devorkian and some others. And the one surviving woman of the Tonnika sisters now says she would like a figure. And I think Bib Fortuna is coming in next Mandalorian wave in Star Wars Black.
They have a pretty cool Black Series Cantina set coming out soon with Obi Wan, Dr Evazan and Ponda Baba you should check out! I think it even has a section of the bar with it.
I have seen it. A bit too pricey for me. I have to start a different way. More or less use a cardboard background of some kind of bar from somewhere and just throw in every Alien or weird creature I can find.

You know in hindsight there are only 2 of them... I think I’m just resentful because they used them to get rid of Lak Sivrak! They are named Melas and Ketwol. Fun fact they are 2 different ends of the same mask (the back of Ketwol’s head is Melas’s face and Ketwol’s face is tucked into Melas’s turban).

I agree....I was thinking of maybe making a follow up sometime, that featured Legends and Canon backstories and tons of behind the scenes photos, and not action figures. That would be really cool.

This is why I won't fund the Hazlab Cantina. To many figures and no longer being made.
If you love the cantina I suggest getting the playset. There’s no need to be a completest like I am, plus if you’re patient, I think many of the rarer figures will be redone or rereleased. I think the Haslab set will always hold it’s value especially since it may ultimately be the only way to get the Tonnika sisters, and will likely be more expensive if you decide you want it later on.
When it comes down to a diorama, self built and or 3D prints is the way to go. The set being offered should have been around 350 for the entire set. Making the figures exclusive to the set is BS simply because opening them for display purposes will immediately kill their collectible value.
You’re not wrong…the situation isn’t ideal, but you might still regret not having the figures. Plus if they never get released any other way, the Tonnika sisters will still be incredibly valuable opened as well as in the package. If it gets funded far enough that Greedo is backed, I’d keep him in the package because they’ve all but guaranteed he’ll be available some other way.
