You are amazing! I tried to do this myself, but many of the background characters were very difficult. Your reference photos are amazing. Many I had never seen before, and spent a considerable amount of time looking. Thank you for your work.
Thank you. Jabba’s palace was what made me interested in the Star Wars series when I was young and expanded through the whole series. I have a great appreciation for the minor characters. I actually learned not everyone in Jabba’s palace was bad. There were actually some rebel sympathizers that lived in his palace. One being a spice trader that donated funds to the alliance to restore the republic and one refugee from cloud city who supported the rebels.
Yes! I haven’t read much from the current canon but that was definitely true in the
Legends stories!
Wow that was comprehensive
Your breakdowns are great. Essential viewing for those who want to build dioramas of the cantina, the palace, the barge...👍🏼
We need to start a petition for a figure of JESS!!
Great detailed & fun video👍🏼
Jabbas palace is such a fun thing to make
What a fantastic resource! Thanks for putting this together!
There is always so much going on in the background it's hard to see it all in the movie. Thanks for breaking it down.
Ah, nice that you spotted Bossk & Dengar. I thought I was the only one who ever noticed them both. Really cool that two other of the famous 6 (Dengar, IG-88, Boba Fett, Bossk, 4-LOM, and Zuckuss) were present in Return of the Jedi
In theory Bossk was in the barge when it exploded. Bib Fortuna and Max Rebo also but they are still alive in The book of boba fett for some reason
@@achoumachi6695Well, that’s not a surprise. in the old expanded universe there were a lot of people who survived the destruction of the khetanna
@@giladpellaeon8421 What was already implausible
This is awesome. Thank you for the work you put into this.
Very cool!! Great work on putting this together! Subscribed!!
Thanks for the sub!
This will be very useful for my jabbas palace diorama. Thank you! I am missing a few of the characters and didn’t know their names.
You’re welcome! FYI some (such as Boba Fett and Bib Fortuna) have been done better since I made the video!
@@noskillcustoms I actually got the newest bib fortuna vintage collection. I’ll have to look for the newest boba fett. Thanks!
I have been waiting a long time for this!
Thank you so much! This is an incredible list. I appreciate you and your time! Excellent job.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome! Also I collect 6" figures this is extremely helpful for my diorama! Hope they bring out more of thewe side characters, they are awesome.
Thanks for your effort, great video!!!
Thanks for the breakdowns, very helpful in building mine! We do have an ishi tib in potf line!
Yes, they made an Ishi Tib Figure, but not of the Ishi Tib in the Palace. Ishi Tib are a species, and the POTF figure is actually a rebel Ishi Tib from the rebel briefing room scene. I plan on doing a briefing room scene breakdown in the coming weeks, plus a Jabba’s Palace custom figure video to show how to turn the POTF Ishi Tib Figure into Shasa Tiel from Jabba’s Palace.
@@noskillcustoms oh ok! Yes I have read that name sasha tiel and wasn't sure what to go by. Thanks for clarifying!! You know your sw!!
Before vedain was released
Head hands = vedain (either black series or vintage collection)
Arms helmet = lathe
Torso pelvis = rebel commando vintage collection
Legs feet = pagetti rook
Belt right holster lando saga series sail barge
Belt pouch backpack left holster = barada power of the force 2
Excellent video. And well done for getting it right with Ghoel (I think it's pronounced "ghoul"). A lot of people think his/ it's name is Wol Cabbashite when in fact, as you pointed out, it's actually his/ it's species. So, well done you.
I've only got one gripe; please stop calling the most notorious bounty hunter in the galaxy "Boe-ba" or " Boh-ba " Fett. His name is pronounced as it's spelt; Boba! Or Bob with an ah on the end of it.
If you have a friend called Robert and you shorten his name to Rob, you don't pronounce it "Robe" or "Roh'b" do you!
And it's nothing to do with and American or any other accent either. In Return of the Jedi, Harrison Ford managed to say "Boba Fett" properly twice before accidentally smacking him into the Sarlacc pit. Likewise in Attack of the Clones, Temuera Morrison as Jango - his own father - with quite a noticeable New Zealand accent pronounced it as Boba.
Sorry but this is a real nitpick for me, just like the "shield generators" on imperial star destroyers (they're sensor/ radar domes, NOT shield generators!) And I'm afraid I'm going to have to start doing something unspeakable the next time I encounter someone who says "Boe-ba" instead of "Boba".
That's all.
Thanx for listening and may the Force be with you.
OR ELSE!😐
Great video thank you
That was awesome! I really enjoyed that!
Thank you!
Ha, grape soda + donuts! Dreadnoks!
You got it!
You’d think that only Jabba and Bobba would have a name, but no, 99% of them all have names
A lot of the characters have names because of 3 reasons…#1 The Designers- I think when these various people spent so long making these various creatures, they wanted them to have names to refer to; #2 The Toys- No kid wants to buy a ‘background guy’ action figure, but Klaatu or Max Rebo they’d be interested in; #3 Decipher Collectible Card Game: Decipher scoured the background of the movies for characters to make CCG cards of and became responsible for many really obscure, barely noticeable, characters having names
First of your videos I've seen and I love it subscribed
Awesome! Keep watching for more! I try to post once every week or two. Tell your friends!
@@noskillcustoms I don't have any friends never have
Thank you for this!
You’re welcome!!!
Who is the guy that is standing behind the rotisserie at the moment before Luke falls into the trapdoor? Know it’s not Nizuc Bek. Could it be Velken Tezeri or Taym Dren-garen?
Yes, that’s Taym Dren Garon. I do believe the actor playing him here is different than the one portraying him on the barge, though. It seems to me that in the palace he’s played by an Asian man, while on the barge he’s played by a white stuntman named Larry Holt.
Outstanding Job! You really did your homework! 🤓👍
Nice work.
Thank you! I gotta update it now that there’s a better Boba Fett and Bib Fortuna! Maybe, when the Boba Fett throne room comes out I’ll redo the video.
Damn, for some reason I never noticed the Duros hiding back there behind the Aqualish. Thanks!
Now that the new jabba is out i think it would be a good time to updat this video
I’m going to give them this year to make some more Jabba background characters as part of their “Return to Tatooine,” but, yes, then I will remake this video!
That grape soda and chocolate donuts was a reference to something
Yep…the dreadnoks from GI Joe loved Grape soda and donuts
4:54 I had no idea there was a new wave punk rock lady in Jabba's palace. We really need a TVC figure of her.
Also #notmySySnootles
What makes her a "new wave punk rock lady"
Her name is Jess
I love these names you come up with! MTFBWY
Laughed out loud! Funny vid.
For yoxgit
Head : Hasbro ugnaught
Body : holiday special zutton
I feature a Yoxgit custom in my Every Character in the Carbon Freeze Chamber video...
ua-cam.com/video/UVyxZ4IJoUA/v-deo.html
He can be seen at 2:35 and was made using a Legacy Ugnaught. Before that figure existed I made Yoxgit using a POTF tall ugnaught head, on a POTF Nien Nunb body.
Grape soda and chocolate donuts?
Are you secretly a Dreadnok?😏
That’s a definite, “maybe!” I plan on doing some GI Joe videos in the next month or two- so look for those!
Jess is beautiful!
Please update this as the throne room along with Jabba is now available!
With 2025 officially themed “Return to Tatooine” by Hasbro, I’m hoping to see many Never-Before-Seen figures. Once I feel like they’ve announced everything they’re going to announce, then I’ll make an update video.
Looking forward to see you making a rebel pilot rundown too... or something else? Surprise, surprise..!
Relim Terb = Brett Miller. Love this video!
Whoever that is 🤫
@@noskillcustoms Dramyan Trebor = Robert Maynard 😄
Cool
Hasbro really need to dish out more of these in the vintage collection
I don’t think it’s too much to ask for them to do every alien they haven’t done yet. And Fozec, too.
Amanaman is my favourite!
Yes, I agree entirely!
I'm subbing now
Random question, but where do you get the cups and the tray in the beginning of the video? Looking to add some accessories and such to my own Jabba’s palace diorama!
The tray is from the WA-7 droid (the Attack of the Clones waitress) Saga Collection figure (the 2 cups are sculpted to the tray permanently). The fancy cup is from Legacy Collection Leia as Jabba’s prisoner figure, (it was also with Yak Face in the Sail Barge. Other cups can be found with Yarna from the Legacy Collection. There are also cups with various Cantina aliens (Hem Damon) comes to mind. I’ve also seen decent looking 3-D printed cups on eBay so that worth checking out, too!
So if there a 2024 update version of this will you do the speshal edition with the other band members?
I’ve been seriously considering doing a new version of this video with all the dancers and band members-I was hoping for more figure updates though, but we’ll see.
For Shasa tiel
Head and hands : ishi tib rebel
Body : ceremonial Luke (paint his vest brown)
Yes, that’s a good recipe! I’ve seen a couple people use that idea. Personally I used a POTF Ponda Baba body just because the oversized body better matches the oversized Ishi Tib head in my mind. I just want to finish a few other Jabba’s Palace figures, then I’ll share them all together in a new video.
*Wol’Cabasshite* really obscure creature there. Surprised he got a figure.
Yes, I’m glad he did, but I was also shocked.
@@noskillcustoms I’m glad too. Really cool creature.
@@noskillcustoms Also didn’t know Ephant Mon got a figure. Always thought he was the coolest looking alien in Jabba’s palice, and his backstory in legends is really cool too.
Where did you find the photo of Gauron Nas Tal wearing the beret type hat?? he looks so badass
I love that pic, too! I think it was a print that the actor used to sign for fans at conventions.
New 8d8 dropping 2024
I will update the list! Really looking forward to that figure- but don’t get me started on the lack of elbow articulation!
Bo Shuda
You should do a special edition version
It’s on the list! Probably this year.
Amanaman is not a man, he’s a system
What is the best Star Wars vintage toy to make cane adiss
I can’t think of any Star Wars thing that would be a good starting point! Maybe a long necked dinosaur toy for starters. I plan on doing mine from scratch using polymer clay.
You forgot bossk he’s in palace and on sail barge.
Bossk is at 9:28 in the video…I couldn’t forget Bossk- he’s the best!
I will try my best to make cane Adiss , Shasa tiel and yoxgit
I was going to make a custom recipe video for shasa tiel, but I wanted to finish a couple of other figures first to go with it. I used the Ishi Tib figure’s head and hands(of course), POTF Ponda Baba’s body arms and legs and Captain Typho’s boots. Maybe I’ll post it on Instagram this week.
I’ll turn a ishi tib figure into shasa tiel
For leslomy tacema i just use the duros from the cantina
Considering the fact that his outfit is barely visible I think that’s a perfectly fine idea. In fact for a while I just used Ellorrs Madak and put the Map Room Indiana Jones’ robe on him.
That works perfectly
God i wanna do a jabbas palace display so badly, this was the worst video to find now i wanna do it even more 😂
Woops...sorry to make you spend extra money!
where is the duros seen?
I’m going to make a follow up to this where I use screen grabs to clarify where everyone is, but he can be seen near the H’Nemthe and Aqualish characters right as Han, Luke and Chewbacca are brought before Jabba to be sentenced to the Sarlacc.
You forgot about Guilp
Yeah, you got me LOL
Tan genial
Gracias!
Did Ree Yees survive the Sarlacc battle. I see a gran in Jabba's castle when Fett takes the throne.
I couldn’t find a definitive answer, but the official StarWars.com site plays Ree Yees off as being good after all just because he didn’t stop Leia from killing Jabba. In the Mandalorian that is definitely a Gran, and it looks like he runs rather than fights, so maybe it is him and he survived the Sail Barge, and Boba Fett’s return.
@@noskillcustoms I think most of Jabba's crew were scheming to kill him off, especially Bib Fortuna and Squid head. Leia did the surviving members a favor, which is probably why Ree yees didnt intervere.
@@noskillcustoms I got this from wookipedia. Dont know if its cannon or not.......Much to everyone's surprise, Skywalker killed the beast. Ree-Yees was at Carkoon onboard Jabba's sail barge when Skywalker, Han Solo, and Chewbacca were to be fed to the sarlacc. When Princess Leia Organa was strangling Jabba, the Hutt triggered the hypnotic trigger to make Ree-Yees grab Leia and self-destruct. However, Jabba died before he could complete the sequence. Feeling very triumphant, Ree-Yees kicked Jabba's corpse and insulted the Hutt. Unable to escape before Leia and Luke fired the barge's cannon, Ree-Yees was killed during the sail barge's explosion shortly afterwards.[8]
Ok

Lapti nek/ Jedi Rocks are so pointless and terrible Scences
I halfway agree with you. I feel Lapti Nek is short enough that it doesn’t distract from the movie, and gives you a sense of what a typical night at Jabba’s Palace is like.
