  • I have done my best to find every droid that can be seen in Return of the Jedi (and some that can’t be seen because they’re just off screen!). Plus I’ve matched up each droid with the best action figure based on that droid, or the action figure that comes closest.

I’ve watched 4-6 all droids now and I’m glad to see some droids I missed out on

There's an R5 unit on the opposite side of the Imperial shuttle as well, but it's virtually impossible to see in the movie. It's parked near some crates right near the landing ramp and has orange lines on the head. There's a decent shot of it in a reference book, which I *think* was that soundboard book with battery-operated panel. It's a shame there's no other (known) set photos from the Death Star lineup scenes. Pretty sure you can also find a B&W shot from the other side of the set in which the six droids are visible too.

The rebel medical droid 2-1B wasnt supposed to have legs, his torso were mounted on a kind of pillar or stand but as a toy legs were more playable

Yes, I’ve seen the prop pictures, I think maybe they were being practical and said,”Nobody will see his legs anyways, so let’s bolt him to a hunk of plywood for stability.” I think when Hasbro gets around to remaking 2-1B they should use the tortured droid in Jabba’s Dungeon as a reference instead of the droid as seen in Revenge of the Sith.
