I highly recommend a decent PFD (life jacket) especially on a kayak that wants to be a submarine. Especially as alot of young angles out there will be looking to you as a role model
Great vid William, awesome to see that there are still places in NZ with good snapper tailing in the shallows, good job on educating by catch and releasing all your fish. We should have a chat about getting you onto a kayak that doesn't sink! I recon you would love our Stealth Fusions for that style of fishing. Keep up the awesome videos.
I just caught my PB 18 pound snapper yesterday. It seems you catch these every week. I would love to see you to catch a Marlin. If you do be bloody careful.
Doesn't matter if people name this spot, the locals have already shut down public access for boats and will shut down your access spot too if they can find a way to enforce it
Bang on. There's a lot of irony in commercialising a place through UA-cam content that shows the famous white dunes in the background, then not wanting others to go there. An age old issue with surfing spots too - but they often take a more physical approach to not welcoming outsiders.

Welcome to the joy of shallow water kayak fishing, they way the fish react is completely different than in the deeper water. So much fun

Caulerpa is a scam. No evidence that it is even bad in NZ. Any excuse to lock it down.
