One method of modeling a zippered seam on a cushion using Blender.

I have been making some cushions for a yacht that I am working on and I think I came up with a decent solution for making a seam that looks like a zippered seam so I thought I would record it to help myself out in the future and post it in case it helps anyone else out too.
Sorry I forgot to show the hotkeys but I mention most of them as I work anyway.
