Girl bc I keep hearing in my head the Bible is not a coloring book. You put it into beautiful words. Its about getting closer and honoring God with out creativity that he gave us. He is the CREATOR❤
The way you decorate your bible actually reminds me of the illuminated bibles of the medeival era. Churches were beautiful and so were the bibles, missals and sacramentarys. Nothing wrong with making the pages of your bible look beautiful. Thank you for your work. Ot has helped me greatly.
I am showing your videos to my husband and my husband laugh that i finally found someone who can understand my love for bible annotating, journaling, collecting stickers and crafting as a hobby niche. and yes, before i was really torn as i examine myself if i am excited to read the bible because i love craft or i love craft that it overflows to my love of notetaking the bible. but hey, as months passed, i noticed that these 2 hobbies of mine made me more interested in not just reading but really digging deeper into the Scriptures.

I love the idea of all the creativity. I started out getting all the stuff…then realized, all I need is a screenshot of your notes, a pen and highlighters…lol. By the time I copy the notes, I’ve forgotten which book they go to. Keep the fantastic work! You’re amazing!!!!
I really needed this validation today!! I love my coloring Bible and I get excited to be in it every day, but was starting to feel like it wasn't justified buying highlighters for it. Thank you faith!!
For anyone jumping into this study of John with this video, John the Apostle "whom Jesus loved" is the writer. He is also the writer of 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, and Revelation (which he wrote during the last stage of his life while he was exiled on the island of Patmos). He was also a cousin of Jesus.
This passage (John 1:19-28) is about John the Baptist, who is also Jesus's cousin because his mother was Elizabeth, Jesus's mother Mary's cousin, and they were pregnant at the same time (Luke 1).

The Word itself is written from the author's level of creativity. God wired us His way, to be like Him, to be creative, and He makes all things beautiful... because He is so awesome. I spent an hour and a half on John 1:1 last week.
Love your videos! And I can relate, I've spent hours on one or two scriptures and sometimes feels like I didnt get far. I like what you said "no time in Gods word is wasted." One thing I'm learning is sometimes I love digging deeper on my own and exploring and figuring it out for myself rather than following the videos where the answer is given to me. It's a rewarding feeling to connect the pieces and be led by God on whatever it is I find and learn. And sometimes i just want to see another persons point of view. Either way, your content is perfect and I'm always learning something new and have grown closer to God because i do feel more interested now and i do feel excited to do it. Thank you ❤️
I ran into your channel and I was so inspired. I love paper crafting and I had been writing in a journal notes from my Bible. I found a Journaling Bible that I had bought years ago. I got it out and now I am doing all my journaling in it, while using my artistic skills. Tyvm for sharing your faith and creativity. God Bless !!!

Amen! I spent 2-4 hours in Romans on one passage and was wore out when I was done. I don’t mind it at all.

And I love the idea of being crafty! Been a scrapbooked for 25 years so I already have the supplies! I have been doing this in my journal but now I am going to think about doing it in my Bible. I usually just take lots of notes in there and color code by dispensation, numbers and colors.
I’ve been studying John lately and I can easily spend an hour or more on one passage. There’s so much there!

Spent so much time on Genesis 6:6. That one just hit me like a brick wall when I read it and just kept journaling on it for a while that day. Definitely a verse that means a lot to me

I resisted doing bible journalling, colouring & dye cuts etc because my perfectionism would get in the way. Since I have found you. I have been praying about it, got a journal bible & started to do the notes. For me I wanted a bible that is a bible that is a reference book for God & me. A bible that I can read the notes & learn more about God & grow our relationship. I am thankful I found your UA-cam because I am really being able to get into the word more, take notes that benefit me to grow with God. I am going to have this bible for a long time I think & look forward to seeing how it grows with me & I am excited.

@@kelceynicole to me, even if I’ve heard tell or read of some of the topics that she talks about in her Bible Boot Camp, her delivery of the material and her enthusiasm and love for the Lord is worth it. And she keeps updating her content too , so we can always go back to the material and review the updates. This is my opinion of course, best of luck deciding ❤️

So enjoying this study and doing some crafting along with it helps me so much. It really gets me into the word and I love the stamps and die cuts that you used. I have lots of stamps and die cuts and now I will put them to another use. Where did you get the stamp cases? Those are perfect for the silicone stamps.

6 hrs on 1 verse -- when I was a young believer, a member of a church whose pastor was a true scholar-- we did a Sunday night series on Judges. We lovingly called it " trudges through judges". FOUR YEARS on the book of Judges!

Note: I would’ve like to see links in your description box to shein stamps because it’s so hard to find them when there’s one we like and don’t know what it’s called
Bible journaling or creative note taking make the Bible just weirdly easier to want to study and for us visual learner it actually help my to retain what I leaked. Many my bible is not someone else's cup of coffee but it's mine and my bible is not for them anyway. I actually get people amazed on the looks of it. And say they have never seen anything like it.
I read the book of philemon for almost a week despite ot being a short book!
You should go thru the entire Bible on UA-cam verse by verse, to the best of your ability.
God gives us these creative ideas or so I feel and the want to create something pretty for Him

Faith! Would you consider doing a video on how to teach a womans bible study
I'm studying Romans. Each chapter is taking much longer than I expected. About two hours a day about 3-5 daysish a chapter. I would recommend Martin Luther and Martin Lloyd -Jones for commentary resources for Romans. Although warning Lloyd -Jones is a series of sermons but they are powerful and easy to read and understand.
