Fun Fact: Chuck was wanting to start his other band (control denied), but the record label he was with asked for another death album beforehand. So Chuck wrote a 10/10 piece of death metal history just to get it out of his way.
The Sound of Perseverance was supposed to be Control Denied's first album. He had to rearrange it to sound more Death like.
The Sound of Perseverance is very melodic and heavy/thrash like. I'd say the two last Death albums are not very death metal-ish.

Not sure if it was said or not but the beginning of the riff you thought sounded wrong is wrong, it should be on the d and g strings and with the latter half being correct, aka red and yellow strings on rocksmith.

Its honestly not that bad to learn from ear its pretty simple, learned it in like 20-30 mins, tricky part is the tapping lick near the halfway point but besides that its chill
Still wish it was on rocksmith tho
@@viewycuquito4203 Tbh all the solos and some riffs tabbed poorly. Instead of learning Death songs from Rocksmith, trying to learn them from ear is a better choice.
@@dorasecmen9781 well the same could be said for anything else but i agree with you. Its way better to learn everything by ear but rocksmith can be a good time saver. Also whenever i hear a mistake in the rs tab i always go and fix it
Sorry it's not a real full album playthrough without the Painkiller cover, flawless vocals and all.
That said glad I got to see this while it's up, this is my favorite Death album and one of my all time favorites. Good job on the 95%, a lot of those riffs are super weird.
