I have high hopes for the next movie, mainly because of James Cameron involvement. I really hope I’m not disappointed. Too many filmmakers rely on CGI to make a movie. James Cameron has the discipline to first make a good movie, with a good plot, and THEN use CGI to enhance the story.

in fact, for those kind of scenes, the bike is usually on a platform pulled by a small truck. Cameras can also be installed on that platform. If you look closer, you don't see the road when he is shooting and the bike really don't move at all. it is just standing engine turned off ;)
@Welcome To Hell in fairness Harleys are hardly more than a status symbol for the most part. Can't corner and most of them have around 50bhp which for a bike of any size is hardly much, let alone something so heavy.

The motorcycle was held up by a crane and was dropped using the crane. The crane was edited out after, so it looks like it does in the final cut.I don't think any motorcycle could make that jump and not be smashed into pieces. You're all welcome.
