First of all: Great review. Like always. I'd like to say that this device looks quite interesting. I've had the mi a1 and now the mi a2. I'm very impressed of both of them. The next one should be the mi a3. But seriously I have to check the display first. I'm not sure about the resolution.
I like mine, but without rooting and tweaking, the minimum brightness is way too bright in a dark room. The 720 resolution is definitely noticeable. I'm fine with it, but other people might not be. Definitely try it out in a physical store before buying if possible! I'd also prefer paying more to have a thicker phone with doubled battery. It's not a bad battery, but it's about the minimum battery capacity I'd accept.
I bought the A3 yesterday after my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 broke the other day and I needed a quick replacement. The phone blows me away. It's better than the Note 8 in pretty much every single way I can think of. The low resolution of the screen doesn't bother me. The colors look nice and the speaker is AMAZING! Hands down the best phone I have ever used. And for such a low price. I'm very happy with my purchase.
then it would be an LCD and there would be no difference between this one and the mi a2, the only reason xiaomi chose to go with amoled screen is for the in display fingerprint sensor, which is impossible to implement on an lcd.

Look I thought the same, until I got the phone a month ago. ive used cellphones with much faster fingerprint sensors, but ive fallen in love with this implementation. Once you get used to unlock the device on the table without having to take it up, you dont want to ever go back. Its interesting, because i almost dont buy the phone because of the screen res and the slow sensor, but now I really like the sensor and, although i would like a 1080 display, I do like the superb battery life. I know it is not for evereyone, but is a really good phone for the buck
I got both MI A3 and the Redmi note 7. Both great, but use the A3 as my principal phone because it has better camara, speaker, it feels way better in the hand, and it's pretty snappy. The built quality is better.
For me the biggest pro for this phone is the absence of MIUI. No matter how optimized MIUI 11 is it just can't compete with stock Android. The device is super snappy and respondable. I'm definitely not going back to MIUI.
I've got this under 10K and everything is smooth and fine! With its size, you won't notice the pixelation. Camera is superb, especially in GCAM. The in-display fingerprint is really slow but you can disable the animation to unlock the phone faster (XDA Forum) Stock Android is the best! I bought this A3 phone. I really like the pure Android. Xiaomi sometimes pushes adware on their other Android phones (depends on models and where you live in the world) but on a pure android phone like this (Android One) they are obliged by contract with Google to keep it clean. Battery life is pretty nice. The one I have takes at least twice as long to recognize my fingerprint compared to how long it takes in this video review. The design (shape/edges/weight/dimensions) feel really good in the hand and the construction quality is great as well. One of my greatest fears before buying it was the relatively low resolution of the screen but it's not a real problem from normal viewing distance. The OLED screen gives as good colors and contrast as a screen on a premium OLED phone like the Samsung Galaxy S9, S10 etc. Resolution is lower but not enough to make it not worth it for the price. I think it's a good deal.
I got problems with the lost signal in Redmi note 8 and want to try this Android one. Do you have any problem losing signal, the caller cannot be reached...?

Stock andorid is always the way to go. Just bought the Mia3 to my girlfriend and i don't regret it. The display is very good, although everyone says its low res. You can only notice it if you look the phone from 15cm, which you won't ever do. Mi note 3 is old.
Take the a3 or rn7 pro
I got problems with the lost signal in Redmi note 8 and want to try this Android one. Do you have any problem losing signal, the caller cannot be reached...?
I still use mia1, battery is a bit of a problem.
where are you from? Love your accent! :)
they had to make it low res or else the mi9 lite has no reason to exist.
the mi a3 is the cc9e and the mi 9 lite is the cc9, in my opinion they had to just release the mi a3 as a global version of the cc9 (which means mi 9 lite specs) with android one.

Does Mi A3 has a dual speaker?
which one is better Redmi note 7 pro or Mi A3
Mi a3 if u want smaller screen with AMOLED indisplay finger print. And 48 Sony rear cam.
Rn7 pro with SNAPDRAGON 675
Every time I turn phone off all my music I downloaded before disappeared. I have a SD card in this phone and all my music get sent there now I have no music. Do you know how to fix
You said that the inscreen fingerprint sensor is fast after the software update? Can you confirm tour build and software ver. Plz. My a3 is still saying clean the sensor many times.
For me there is no Dirac (Mi Enhancer) so bad headfone optimization
What i like is the Camera!
this one or samsung a40?
I think this Is Better because of 4000mah battery compared to 3000mah of A40
Me and my girlfrien got both. I can tell you this: the camera is slightly better on the mi a3, especcialy with good lighting. The battery is noticeably better. I would only buy the samsung if you really like its design o the UI. But I think that the Mi A3 is a better deal
which do you think i should buy? Redmi Note 8 or Mia3 I'm undecided, help me :)
I also need help with this
MiA3 is better
Stock andorid is always the way to go. Just bought the Mia3 to my girlfriend and i don't regret it. The display is very good, although everyone says its low res. You can only notice it if you look the phone from 15cm, which you won't ever do. I compared it to her previous mi a1 with full hd, but lcd, and the amoled panel is much more vivid and enjoying to watch, and it also makes battery life a bit better. So no brainer here.
@@peponderat92 thanks Peter wish you to enjoy it.I bought the Redmi Note 8. I'm satisfied now
Should i buy this phone or the huawei p20lite ?
I used P20 Lite, it's good, EMUI is very stable and helpful, but got problem with screen, some pixels error after 6 months, the internal speaker got low gradually.... I'm trying Mi A3 now, hope it has better hardware quality.
Flip to silent ringer option available? In call settings
Thank you for the cool review ❤️
But... Redmi Note 7 RAM management is bad...
Mi A3💪💪💪
Does it suppose G Cam without rooting.
Yes. It comes with camera to api support out of the box. You just have to install the Gcam apk & configure it properly.
Mi a series always has a good build quality!
Hi bro can U me. How's call quality and network reception and call quality?
It's great! no complaints!
Mi a3 is best from mi note 7 pro because the handleing, camara, lock all think is very nice.
But the display is so bad😒😒😒. But no problem.
Back is not glasstic its glass gorrila 5 finished
That screen is awful though. Since it's amoled it's not even true 720p. Also backside is gorilla glass 5. Glastick, Jesus, dude check your sources before spouting nonsense.
Really nice video!
Great Android phone for purists!
But without timely updates, and full of bugs
What do recomend Galaxy a10 or s10?
Wow, that is a very weird comparison
Pixel 3 xl

How you know the phones back is PLASTIC?? GSMARENA says Its Glass
I explained what I think about this in the video.

Go to settings-> Display->Advanced->Screen saver -> And turn off photos or while charging
Linus lost lot of weight , congratulations son.
Carlos Correia thank you very much!
The mi a3 is budget smartphone that's why the xiaomi can't give the NFC function.
