But how to make it a song on Spotify

I don't think this option is available for Windows 10, but you can still check the Messenger Help Center for Windows 10.
I wish theres an option to play ringtones you downloaded an mp3
Unfortunately, Messenger doesn't currently offer the option to use downloaded MP3s as ringtones. Let's hope they consider adding this feature in the future!😊

How do I do a custom ringtone
Messenger allows you to choose only from the provided selection of ringtones, and it doesn't support setting custom ringtones from your device's storage. You'll need to select one of the available options within the Messenger app itself.

Do the same thing but dont tap ringtone, look at the top or bottom and tap on Notification sound but mine says costumise notifications, then tap on sounds and done!

@@EverydayThings when I chose a ringtone, I used my sisters phone to check it and when I called on my phone the ringtone came for a split second and then the default old one started ringing, I tried it over and over but it didn't work!!
