Thank you for sharing this video. Very good job ! Keep us updated 🙏and good luck.
i’ll have to check these guys out i’ve been looking for an easy setup for powered steering 🎉
Hi. You had to clearance the heater box for the electric motor part of the system? And does it have any adjustment for amount of assist? Good video, thanks for making it.
Yes, you have to use the dremel to take out a bit. I did it "wrong" so I made a big hole in mine. Will have to try to fix that later. Copy and paste from the EPAS decription: Our units come with an automatic sensitivity controller, adjusting the sensitivity of the steering automatically depending on the steering force applied. This means lighter steering for parking and stiffer for motorway driving.
Hmmm…. So there’s a speed sensor in the kit so the epas knows of you’re parking or driving at Speed? The home built one I’ve seen used a dash mounted adjusting knob which took the place of the original application speed sensor.
@@ragnarhairybreeks There is a torque sensor build in.
What's the large 275 gallon plastic container? I have been using them for vegetable oil storage as biodiesel diesel fuel!
The factory I work for uses them to collect old oil, that are sent back for recycling
Nice video, I'm wondering how your steering column looks like now , do the plastic covers still fit ?
No the plastic cover will not fit. But there are incuded a "leather" cover you use to cover the motor and electronics. I have not installed them yet.
Hi, is there a video explaining what do you have uner the driver's seat at 0:21? :)
Yes, look here: ua-cam.com/video/HMUSln7sM0s/v-deo.html
Hi .. how does this mod go down with your insurance company. Very tempted but wonder if they would still cover if you declared it
I have no idea, as I have not asked them.
Do you know what OEM system they used for the basis of their kit?
I'm not 100% sure, but Opel Corsa is a popular donor car here in Europe.
It is fantastico! I think I am going to have to fabricate myself due to cost... And their site shows out of stock.
Where did you buy your shifter?

@@Italjohn Thankyou so much keep up the great work.
This was done in a half-way manner just to promote the EPAS power steering unit.
I found a MUCH BETTER video right here...
