This caramelized pork has been a part of my childhood and I miss eating that. Thank you so much for bringing it to us as I miss Vietnam so much. Cảm ơn chị nhiều và chị khiến em nhớ nhà quá
This is pretty much like the Vietnamese version of 'Pork Adobo' here in the Philippines. It's just that we use soy sauce and vinegar instead of coconut water and fish sauce. I would love to try this recipe. Thanks a lot!
Interesting! Thanks for sharing!

I learned lots of English from your channel and I really love the way you show Vietnamese food and culture to the whole world. It’s so natural❤️
It was fun watching you cook that dish. I literally laughed out loud when you realized that the rice cooker was all in Korean! I tried to cook some pork belly last week, but it didn't turn out like I was hoping. I will cook it the way you did and hope for better results.
Haha thank you!
your video's so funny and i always watch it every night, i hope you will make a lot of videos about cooking at home
Loved your nostalgic moment bit 😅

Hello I'm from Puerto Rico and I love VIETNAMESE FOOD Thank you for being original 😊 on this ingredients
Very yummy. I also like this dish too. It also makes me feel nostalgic about the time I lived in my hometown with my parents
Van the pork belly dish looked delicious...well done.
Very good video. I want to try egg and pork Vietnamese food. You're videos are always great.
Yes agree
I love the dramas in your cooking session 😂😂 it's funny.
Yes I agree. My favorite: using Google Translate to read the markings on the rice cooker.
Ngon quá em yêu 😘
I just had dinner then watching this video, omg im craving
Thanks! I'm gonna make this on my next camping trip to Joshua Tree. I can get all the stuff in Garden Grove but I think I'll go for boil in a bag rice for easy camping. Great video!
That's some cooking skills 😍😍😍
Great recipe.
Really enjoyed watching you make this dish and it looks yummy, but the real test will be when you mom takes a bite and says what she thinks 🤔
Please do more of these until the restaurants reopen and you can take us around and experience vicariously more of what Vietnam has to offer.
I love eggs and pork from breakfast. a great fantastic meal with a positive attitude.
Found this channel by accident. And now I have a channel to enjoy and learn English too. Thank you!
Nhìn ngon quá chị ơi
I Really Enjoyed This Yummy Video
my favorite dish. everyone makes the same dish but they all taste different. like pho!
Love this stuff. Japanese have a version called "Kakuni" which is very similar. They're all probably related to Chinese DongPo.
My wife makes this for me all the time and it's soooooo yummy!
Wow looks soooooooo good 💕
Please cook when we visit Ha Noi next year 👩🍳🥰

This was a nice twist from the usual. Don't know how started the trend, but just casual errand video runs to market are cool.
Fyi dude u r lucky, wish it was chopstix only, I use to get the asian broom. Ever lasting splinter pains.
Excellent work as always
PS that snake wine in the background love it 😁
That looks delish! I might try it. aloha!
I love this too much I ate it every morning 😁😆
I can’t wait to try this recipe. It looks delicious 😋. Yes, the 🧹 broomstick has many purposes in my house 😱
Hi Beautiful thanks for sharing i don't know you can cook do more cooking video.
Now i am hungry... my mom used to make a localized korean version of this... i see and smell protein galore!!!!
As you know that one of the most popular reason insult in family violence in VIETNAM that is"forgot to press the cooking button of rice cooker" hahaha thank you to you because of the video ❤️
Fish Sauce... A key essential I always see in a Vietnamese cafe or restaurant.....Yup , washing rice and using finger to measure...That's how we do it.. LOL .. Yummy home cooked food... Stay safe, be vigilant.
Ur very nice and charming
Vietnamese young lady but very fluent in english.
We support ur videos it's very informative.
Are you sure that this was not the first time you cooked thit heo Kho? 😄😄😄 love your video!
Nice content👍
good job em
Love your video from China.

I'm Filipino 🇵🇭 who supporting her vlog here . any?? love her vlog.. i wanna go to Vietnam soon.. ❤️❤️
I am going to make that dish. I haven't made that dish in awhile. Try cooking banh trang nuong.
I will make this asap! Yummy! 9
Good video Ms Van Vu . I got the smell all the way to Texas 💐
Haha thank you!
This is my favorite dish with steamed rice. Yummy!
I can eat two bowls.
That seems really good hahaha gonna try to make it here someday. One question: the rice you make there is like the japanese gohan? In Brazil we usually fry the rice with garlic before cooking it with a bit of salt (and I think it's a different type of rice).
About the 6 items there, some of them are actually familiar hahaha but here we have a plant that is/was used a lot to "correct behavior" haha here it is known as Saint George's Sword and well... it's very effective hahahaha
Loved the video! Keep it up! =)
thank you 😊
Giỏi quá em gái!!!
Ấn tượng với cách sử dụng nồi cơm quá🤩🤩🤣
the worst nightmare you’ll get is after cooking the dish and you don’t have cooked rice! 😂😂 anyways, this is one of the dish i missed during my stay in Vietnam. watching you cook even though there were missed steps in your tutorial i was able to get it right. it taste amazing. never thought i will be cooking this myself. thanks for sharing! tc

Delicious 😋 i'll try this hi from From South East Europe
Mến Chào bạn. Món thịt kho tầu thơm ngon tuyệt vời liek.
Ms. Van Vu is smart, articulate and funny. But it seems like she's a great cook also.
The way you cook the pork belly its a bit different than my mom but the result looks the same. We used sweet soy for coloring, never saw my mom put cocunut water into it. And this video make me hungry...bad bad Van make me droolin'
I died laughing ! I come from French Guyana in South America and it was exactly the same the wooden handle to hit me when I was a child 😂
Ngon qua em
I don't miss any your video. This is very funny, the rice cooker no need plug, hahaha.
Yup, that’s old school method of measuring water and rice. 👍. You should also try adding fried tofu in this thit kho chung. It soaks up juice, so yummy! Stay safe!!!
one of my fav VN recipes!
Can’t get enough of travelling to Vietnam
Nóng này nấu chè bưởi , chè nhãn hạt sen ăn là hợp nhất đó 😋
So beautiful
Hi Pho I spent a year in Viet Nam and your right they are friendly/warm people. The food for me was an acquired taste.(they still make kimche?)still chew beatlenut?I have to say VN had some really different geography, seen some amazing things.Anyhoo gorgeous Happy Trails!🌹your gonna be a⭐️
Be honestly if I did not watch this video, then forever I would have problems to cook one of the most traditional dishes. Lol that's a shame but thanks for teaching us how to do this, keep doing. You're so enthusiastic and friendly.
Thật đảm đang
This is a great cooking class :)) In this video I've learned two things about you ... first, you don't speak Korean, second, you cook very well!
After you put the meat in and stir in around, put fish sauce in immediately to get the sweetness out of the way and the caramel syrup won’t burn. Then stir it some more and add the coconut juice (use only half of the coconut juice) use the other half later on.
Usually you don’t use the whole coconut juice at once because so that you don’t have to use another one or use water.
Vân dễ thương quá
Looks yummy. Love from India
