The way this was handled was fast, efficient, and smooth. By the actor sliding down the rope, the guards who followed, and by the Dj stopping the music and voice tracks. Impressive how they prepare for this type of thing
Welcome to the age of special "safe space" snowflakes, where their feelings and urges are more important than silly things like manners, laws, rules, other people, etc.
Dude, this kind of stuff has been happening as long as theme parks, sporting events, etc. have been around. This has nothing to do with the current "political" climate.
Christopher Lord lol i remember as a kid the sea plane came right for me crashed into the barrier infront of me damn i was young didnt even move an inch but i was scared for a few seconds lmao
it was ... its technically difficult to continue to show a public on your stunt set.. they are un train n not part of the show. some1 on the team or public go get hurt. there are live fire n action going .....
Jose Ramirez it does shoot fire though, so it could be really dangerous. Or at least fire comes out of the end but the pyrotechnicians probly do that but still
He probably just pointed it at them just to fuck with the staff. He wasn't actually trying to fire it lol If he wanted to harm the staff he would've just started wailing on them with his fists.
i'm just super impressed how professional they handled it ! having a pre made recording, and have two people immediately handling the guy. i mean that was very professional.
I love how the security guy comes over and the guy who jumped on is looking for something to defend himself with and he decides "oh I know, I'll use the FAKE GUN" like that was his best option.
welcome to the internet where people take stuff very seriously all the time.it's a very serious place where people look for porn, cat videos and where trolls hunt for unsuspecting prey.
I was an annual passholder at Universal for three years when I lived in L.A. and I loved this show. I saw it every time I went. Hundreds of times probably. It's a testament to how good the show is that it has lasted so long after the movie was considered a failure.
Deacon: “YOU IDIOT!” Forces that man from the audience to walk the plank The Mariner: “We beg your pardon, but we’re busy.” That man: Falls in “SORRY!” SPLASH
Back in the 70’s at Sea World a guy was complaining that he was soaked by Shamu and he jumped in the tank. It was actually part of the show and it fooled everyone in the audience.
Is it because it lets tou realise youve spent a part of your limited time on Earth working a job you hate so you can go to a children's park and watch adults be cringey?
FlintSparked I think it's because when we try to recreate cinema on a live action show, it always loses so much charm, like you realize the movies that you love just look bullshit in live action, but you still see everyone else paying the ticket and watching it and then you just buy the ticket too and feel fucking depressed because cinema was supposed to make you believe that a better life can happen. Sort of like when you go to the circus and you watch the cool show with the tigers but deep inside yourself you know the tiger lives in a fucking 8 square feet cage and you're an asshole to be watching that bullshit. Humanity sucks, dreaming is the only pure feeling in this life.
FlintSparked Probably because you know that the people acting have had to do the same thing 1000 times and are not enjoying themselves a single bit. The crowd knows it, they know it, but nobody says anything because the show must go on, so there’s an awkward relationship between the two.
You can see the mariner goes to say his lines but they don’t play the pre recorded line and that’s when he notices something is wrong and acts promptly. 👏👏 well done
Oh shit....I totally forgot I went to this show back in 2002.....funny how time flies, can't believe this is still around, Water world must've been a major hit
+Zyphr7 People will make shit up and spread rumors about anything they want. There's no evidence to suggest that this person was mentally disabled. It just seems like some guy had a poor taste in humor and got a kick out of crashing the set and fucking with the staff. To assume anything more would be mere speculation.
He was rooting for the villain and wanted to be a part of his new empire. He bravely jumped in and readied the chaingun to bring Mariner down once and for all.
Who cares if this guy messed up the show? You can catch the show later in the day, but this is something interesting which is very rare to see. I'd love to see this.
Maybe he thought this was real and thought he was saving people, some people don't know, most things are fake or that there is something called acting.
*points gun at mariner*
Mariner: That’s not real dude.
Chris P Mariner still shit his pants before he remembered "oh yeah it's just a prop"
That dude probably works for Disney
This is a stickup
IT'S REAL TO HIM DAMNIT! xD
He was still acting and in the show that gun is one dangerous piece of machinery.
The way this was handled was fast, efficient, and smooth. By the actor sliding down the rope, the guards who followed, and by the Dj stopping the music and voice tracks. Impressive how they prepare for this type of thing
Eesh, people from all over the world wait to save enough money to travel there for a vacation and then this jerk goes and ruins the show for 'em ._.
eh, its something new, and a great story to tell friends back home.
Welcome to the age of special "safe space" snowflakes, where their feelings and urges are more important than silly things like manners, laws, rules, other people, etc.
Dude, this kind of stuff has been happening as long as theme parks, sporting events, etc. have been around. This has nothing to do with the current "political" climate.
perhaps, but overall, I've seen more of this self-indulgent crap in the last ten years than in the rest of my life combined.
Maybe because now you have media to broadcast it more often and everyone has a recording device to document it
Yikes, guy almost got a face full of sea plane.
omg
despacito 3 confirmed.
Vito Esposito when?
He is lucky because that used the be the exact time where the seaplane launched and it would have landed exactly where he jumped the fence.
Christopher Lord holys hit i think youre right
It would of happened after, because he was calling the plane in as the guy got on the raft thing
Christopher Lord lol i remember as a kid the sea plane came right for me crashed into the barrier infront of me damn i was young didnt even move an inch but i was scared for a few seconds lmao
Too bad it didn’t take him out. Clearly a lesser in society.
It would have Vic Morrow'd him
"WE HAVE STOPPED THE SHOW DUE TO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES" the wording appropriate and hilarious at the same time.
Breaking News it's a recorded message, they played back. Nothing surprising.....
it was ... its technically difficult to continue to show a public on your stunt set.. they are un train n not part of the show. some1 on the team or public go get hurt. there are live fire n action going .....
That is a common phrase to say when something goes to shit
he thought the chain gun was real hahaha
Jose Ramirez HAHAHHAHA
Jose Ramirez it does shoot fire though, so it could be really dangerous. Or at least fire comes out of the end but the pyrotechnicians probly do that but still
He's like "WHAT?! IT DOESN'T FIRE!"
*big grumpy face! >:C*
He probably just pointed it at them just to fuck with the staff. He wasn't actually trying to fire it lol
If he wanted to harm the staff he would've just started wailing on them with his fists.
HOLY FISH STICKS I WAS THERE AND I WAS SO CONFUSED BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT WAS AN ACTOR
Same
Lets all unite
I gave you a like just because you said holy fish sticks haha
I knew it wasn't because I already saw the show and knew that didn't happen
xD
i'm just super impressed how professional they handled it !
having a pre made recording,
and have two people immediately handling the guy.
i mean that was very professional.
I always love when audiences boo at villains.
I love how the security guy comes over and the guy who jumped on is looking for something to defend himself with and he decides "oh I know, I'll use the FAKE GUN" like that was his best option.
HE ALMOST GOT HIT BY THE SEA PLANE
They should have an audio clip to play whenever an idiot jumps the fence. “... And he has been RECYCLED!” :)
Austin Chu that would encourage people to do it tho
That actor who came down on the rope is an actual badass
Welcome to the internet.you're going to see and hear a lot of bad words.you can't censor the world or random poeple.
have you not seen the show? a lot more happens, and i think that's part of the show so it was convenient
star and fox Idk why you took him so serious 😂😂
welcome to the internet where people take stuff very seriously all the time.it's a very serious place where people look for porn, cat videos and where trolls hunt for unsuspecting prey.
star and fox Could’ve left it at “Welcome to the internet” I didn’t need any examples, it’s very self explanatory.
Smh from the title I thought a dude dressed up as a clown was gonna ruin the show.
Same
*I'LL GET MY SEA PLANE*
When people think the WaterWorld minigun prop is real AND armed
Wasn't it originally Miami Vice before becoming Waterworld? But I guess there's not been any water based movies made in the past 20 years. :D
Larry Bundy Jr wow, you DO know everything
Saying that while "The Meg" is in theaters is the most Larry Bundy thing you could do
Holy shit, did that guy turn and aim the harpoon at the staff?
It's not a real harpoon.
I know it's not for firing real harpoons, but I'm sure it fires a dangerous prop for the show.
It fires a small 6in flame no projectile actually leaves the gun.
In fact it's a pretend gatling gun. I wonder if he was mentally stable?
a flame would still be a projectile
This is why Disneyland doesn't serve alcohol.
BackyardImagineers They do at California Adventure and Downtown Disney.
So people don't get drunk and ruin the Waterworld show? I didn't think Disney had a Waterworld show.
crazypfunk Waterworld is at universal studios
Disney does serve alcohol in specific places in there parks.
Hikari Naru there is a spot in the New Orleans square area where they serve alcohol. I don’t know if it’s still running today though
He was almost certainly trespassed for life from Universal Studios property.
mikejohns777 do you even know what trespassed fucking means?
super weird watching this. remember it from my childhood but completely forgot about it until now
Early Man
Wait then you're still in your childhood. It's was only 2 years ago.
T.K.O. this ride has been at universal for atleast 15 years
T.K.O. I guess he just formulated it wrong, he meant this show and not the man jumping in.
T.K.O. This is the dumbest comment man. It’s very obvious what the OP was saying.
I was an annual passholder at Universal for three years when I lived in L.A. and I loved this show. I saw it every time I went. Hundreds of times probably. It's a testament to how good the show is that it has lasted so long after the movie was considered a failure.
Deacon: “YOU IDIOT!” Forces that man from the audience to walk the plank
The Mariner: “We beg your pardon, but we’re busy.”
That man: Falls in “SORRY!” SPLASH
It's quite funny how it's always "technical difficulties" when anything happens during shows like these.
Major props to the guy that went down the pole and ran towards him!
This guy thought that minigun was real 😂
Damn I love how they handled it very professional.
Imagine being so hammered you think a prop gun on a show set is real😂😳
He didn’t want to get left behind. He wants to go to dry land too
Back in the 70’s at Sea World a guy was complaining that he was soaked by Shamu and he jumped in the tank. It was actually part of the show and it fooled everyone in the audience.
What's next? Guy brings active fire extinguisher to Fantasmic because the dragon was shooting out fire?
he was probably high and thought he could help out with the rescue. xD
That guy just wants to save that girl
An actual White Knight. "I'll save you m'lady!" - *gets banned from park* - "Women don't appreciate anything!"
That guy is really short. Do you think that was Tom Cruise?
Jennifer Garcia Tom Cruise would have drowned easily so no
It was your daddy lol
Depends on if his teeth line up.
There's something depressing about amusement park shows but I can't put my finger on it.
It's too realistic
Is it because it lets tou realise youve spent a part of your limited time on Earth working a job you hate so you can go to a children's park and watch adults be cringey?
FlintSparked I think it's because when we try to recreate cinema on a live action show, it always loses so much charm, like you realize the movies that you love just look bullshit in live action, but you still see everyone else paying the ticket and watching it and then you just buy the ticket too and feel fucking depressed because cinema was supposed to make you believe that a better life can happen.

It the narration, so cheesy.
Love that robotic canned voice “ladies and gentlemen “
You can see the mariner goes to say his lines but they don’t play the pre recorded line and that’s when he notices something is wrong and acts promptly. 👏👏 well done
Dude I miss this so much I was like 4, 18 now, and I can still recall this show. It was amazing
When he pointed the cannon at them though 😂😂😂😂
How to get banned from an amusement park 101
*SICK PRANK BRUH*
Toasted Fan Art the guy is an unloved prick. People didn't spend all that money to see that attention seeker they should rushed him backstage
courtney williams yeah I know I was being sarcastic
Toasted Fan Art lol
Jumping To Stage + Threatening Someone = Really Bad Idea
Oh shit....I totally forgot I went to this show back in 2002.....funny how time flies, can't believe this is still around, Water world must've been a major hit
One of the biggest box office failures of all time. But the show is cool af
Maybe he thought the show was real life and thought everyone involved was in danger so he jumped in to save the day.
Hurricane actually that was the case he is mentally ill and thought she was actually in trouble
There is actually a Water World live show and people actually go to view this? I had no idea.
funzjag I saw movie in theater when it released lol. I guess it was unpopular enough to warrant a park attraction.
'So Bob how was your vacation?'
Should be titled" How to ruin your family vacation getting arrested".... !!!
I can't get over the existence of a Waterworld show.
Right? Odd choice considering the massive failure of the movie
Did Plankton get a second job narrating live shows?
Nickster lmfao
I clicked hoping for an actual clown to disrupt the show, but this works too.
Did the show resume or was that the end?
It resumed about 10 minutes later and they finished it up.
any follow up or statement from the guy as to why he did what he did. i can imagine he anted to protect the girl lol
popanollie1 Thats exactly what it was from what i have been hearing. The guy had a mental disability and thought the girl was in actual danger.
+Zyphr7
People will make shit up and spread rumors about anything they want. There's no evidence to suggest that this person was mentally disabled. It just seems like some guy had a poor taste in humor and got a kick out of crashing the set and fucking with the staff. To assume anything more would be mere speculation.
UndertakerU2ber Yep
Am I the only one who would actually find that an entertaining as much as the show
What exactly was his plan? Did he think he was gonna save the girl or something?
Backstage they were like, "FRANK, you crazy son of a bitch, what have you been up to maaan?"
0/10 no actual clowns
1:22 yea there isn't any clowns
*but this idiot jumped in the water to harras the actors*
"Technical difficultys" Ah, the classic excuse.
Well, when you offer booze in your park...
Yeah, sure, it's the venue's fault for selling beverages. Clearly he was a victim of the theme park's hospitality. SMH.
Mike Gomes Don't be so serious, he was just joking
You still have to drink responsibly.
They do offer Duff Beer near the Simpsons ride so yeah that’s possible
Manny V. I thought that was non alcoholic though? Either way they do sell alcohol in the park, but you hardly ever hear of problems because of it.
The kid in school always doing the most dramatic thing for attention.
I thought there would be an actual clown
He was rooting for the villain and wanted to be a part of his new empire. He bravely jumped in and readied the chaingun to bring Mariner down once and for all.
Never seen the show... dude got lucky that he didn't get killed by any special effects.
when people climb ladders faster than i run
What camera did you shoot this on? Just a phone? It looks good!
Dave P It's a samsung.
Samsung
Yet whenever someone sees a Bigfoot it's blurry af lol
it looks good because there is enough light for the show. its a studio set...
Meliton Orozco because Bigfoot is always filmed with an iPhone
Even if he was thinking the girl was in real danger, the music would certainly encourage anyone to do the same.
As if there was something to ruin in the first place.
He went to Universal Studios on mushrooms and thought he was actually in the movie Waterworld.
Actually he jumps in at 1:14 at the bottom left, then at 1:20 you can start to see the water splashes where he's swimming.
He grabbed the gun to protect himself. He wanted to be apart of the show lol
Oh man! I loved this show when I was a kid. I can’t believe some guys would do this
Never would of thought a waterworld show would still be in business
1:19 when he jumps in ...
I was hoping it would literally be a guy in a clown suit.
where is the CLOWN
Wind Seeker clown is used as a description, he's not an actual clown.
Oh ok
Thx
Actually The Black Guy Who Swim Is The Idiot. Clown = Idiot.
Yeah I see no clown this is clickbait :/ lol
And he was never seen again. Legend has it he's floating beneath the set.
I was here when this happened! It was my first time here yeah well that guy ruined my first experience
Dragon Fly Hahahhahaa
They were very quick to respond especially the actor. Good work.
Clown? More like hero. What were you doing while this was happening? Just sitting there filming is my guess.
In what way is he a hero?
Joecake Gamedev he tried to rescue the girl! You don't get enough of good hearted people these days..
Mal Teasers You do get he's joking, right?
Mal Teasers Yeah, but in most cases that I've seen the people that made those comments were joking and trying to troll others.
Mal Teasers woosh
Why does this show still exist? Universal removes iconic movie rides but WATERWORLD... we need to keep that one!
He could have a mental disorder and thought the lady was in distress
If he didn’t realize this was a show, what did he think he was standing in line for?
@@MegaSoulHero That's the point. It's a mental disorder. Some mental disorders can make people do crazy stuff. Logic doesn't apply.
hello goodbye - But wouldn’t there be someone with him to make sure he doesn’t get into trouble?
When your "first beer" goes wrong.......
if that were in a wrestling ring, like WCW, then Macho Man Randy Savage would've stomped the shit out of that fool.
pnsmexico but thats not the context, sooooo
Two things:
Macho Man is dead
Wrestling is fake
There better be a hell of a LOT of liquor or determination to ruin that show for a man to do that.
That was kinda funny ACTULLY
No, “ACTUALLY,” it wasn’t. The asshat was actually just about to get crushed by a burning plane, too.
Who cares if this guy messed up the show? You can catch the show later in the day, but this is something interesting which is very rare to see. I'd love to see this.
Considering this happened at night, I doubt there was another performance after this one that day.
which mental hospital did he escape from
Evan H Germany
what a dark day for the waterworld show
They built all this for flop of a film?
TheDutyPaid brehhh.... waterworld is the shiznit
I think it's a hell of a movie, always liked it.
how to recoup money from the props and film...a mix of Mad Max/Indiana Jones
SamuraiSamara 69 have you ever seen 'The Postman' you may enjoy that too.
oh yeah!...another KC film!
Trespassing charges will cost him about $5000
I hope he was kicked out of the park or maybe even arrested. The gall!
George Estremera banned from the park, okay reasonable but arrested? Come on really?
He was mentally disabled
well he did point the "fake gun" that might`ve had pyrotechnics in it at the actor...
Orlando Torres yeah because he thought the girl was actually in trouble
T.K.O. I thought pets weren't allowed at theme parks.
That's what happens when you sell liquor at an amusement park.
why would he do that? ok, I understand, he wanted to be the part of the action.
All he wanted to do was relive his childhood dreams.
He tot the chain gun is real
Well those are the first cheers that I've ever heard at Water World
Walt Disney World > Universal Studios
^
Universal Orlando
Coolbfitz I believe Kyle Davis was meaning WDW is "GREATER THEN" Universal Studios.
? doesn't "^" mean "i upvote this comment"?
This show isn't at Universal Orlando, it's at Universal Hollywood.
I do agree that WDW is superior to any other theme park resort in the world.
Kyle Davis good thing people don’t do this at Disney..
That “clown” was awesome, but he didn’t do much
Poor guy had a mental disability and was just trying to save the girl and is getting h8 4 it
*"TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES"*
Maybe he thought this was real and thought he was saving people, some people don't know, most things are fake or that there is something called acting.
beautiful in its time
He was one of those special needs people.
That shroom trip must of just hit
You mean “gave you a memory you’ll never forget!”
He made that show so much more enjoyable.
