This is by far the best grounds podcast show. I’m absolutely addicted. I’m from the Uk. I’m a grounds manager at a theme park and used to be a Gardner at Buckingham palace. I recommend this podcast to everyone. Keep up the good work.
Great podcast, as always guys. Tim, hire a helper. That's part of working smarter not harder. I think you'll wish you had done it sooner. It's just a suggestion, not trying to tell you what to do. Also, have you ever heard of this wonderful, fun and amazing thing called a vacation? It does wonders for burn out and the stress of too many irons in the fire.😊 You know your loyal watchers will be right here when you come back should you choose to do that. Carthic, you will be missed while you're in India, enjoy your time away. Love all your channels, Tim. Take care guys. 🤗❤
I enjoy your style of podcast, gents. It does feel like sitting with friends and chatting, exchanging ideas and sharing knowledge, as well as cracking jokes and being ‘all over the place”. It’s never boring! Looking forward to the next one, and the update on everything else going on at your property. Sorry, didn’t mean for my daughter’s car to be a topic, it was just an immediate issue for me and I blurted it out 🫤 I appreciate the kind words, everyone, and good news update, the car has been located and taken to the police yard where it can be dealt with tomorrow via insurance/police.
Always enjoy your podcast, it’s like just sitting enjoying a conversation with friends. I feel for you dealing with all the stress. Family comes first, always remember that. We’ll be here when you are. You may have to try working with someone. You’re smart, you’ll figure it out.😊 Do what gives you the most joy. I don’t usually have questions or suggestions, but just like you guys. I’ve listened to two of the lives, I never seem to catch them when they’re on. Take care and keep smiling.👍👍💚
I really admire your commitment to those with challenges in their lives which impact on their ability to enter into meaningful employment. I worked within the Disability Field some years ago prior to retiring and it was so fulfilling assisting clients into employment and supporting both them and the employer who on most occasions would be the first time they had taken on employees with barriers to their employment. I don’t know if this is available anymore but there were “government monetary assistance” for the employer to take on these employees. Well done Tim much respect for what you do.
Always enjoyable, thank you. On the topic of Ryobi, I have always used them as the backyard hack I am. The past 6 months had a lot of issues with brand new and my old stuff. Nobody would or could service or repair the older stuff, and the weeks old, several items were not working (batteries and chargers). The run around and back and forth I received from both the place I purchased them and the company itself was less than desirable. I understand that things happen, manufacturing defects, shipping damage ect, so I'm perfectly fine with that, shit happens. I'm not ok with brands, companies and stores playing the blame game and not caring about the customer. Ryobi has now been switched out for a better product and service. That was only my personal experience.
Nice to see your chats, as a home owner & lover of battery outdoor gear (AEG & some Ryobi). Anyhow, I need to ask you about the additional handles used on line trimmers etc. I recently bought the Whipper Gripper Handle & also people have previously been using the Darwin's Grip. Have you tried any of them & what do you think of them? I have installed the Whipper Gripper Handle on my AEG 58V Line Trimmer & only given it a quick test, both horizontal & then flipping over for vertical cutting using the 'D' handle. When using it I have more control & since I am not tall, I don't have the stooping issue when using a line trimmer (except I am stooped anyhow), but for taller people, the additional handles make a good difference in use. Love to hear your comments.
Tim see I'm you can get a group of volunteers that can help you because of your schedule is all over the place I volunteer at a charity doing grounds maintenance I'm not able to work a main job anymore I have a trumic brain injury so I volunteer in a charity

Any Canadian that’s ran stuff over with a snowblower feels your pain about the flail mower.
