What Jesus is saying in English that you can understand is, Stop complaining because this message is not for you. It is for believers. So Jesus is clear that His message is not for everyone. Think about how what you are saying is nonsense. On one hand you say that you are a sinner and on the other hand you say you love Jesus. That is a lie. You can't love Jesus and be a sinner. That is impossible. You can either be a sinner or a believer. But you have already told the world that you are a sinner, so we know for certain that you are not a Christian. You are impersonating a Christian. If you truly loved Jesus then you would stop sinning. So lets recap. Catholics are sinners. 1john3:6 tells us that sinners dont know God or understand Him. So its impossible for catholics to love Jesus. What happens to sinners. Jesus tells us they go to hell. So If I were you, I would not be proud to be catholic.
@@TheTruthsOfOurFaith ““But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”” Matthew 9:13 NIV
@@society1421 You just misquoted Jesus. Jesus doesn't say ," for I have not come to call the righteous , but sinners.", He actually says, "I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent. What you have done is change the word of God to mean something that Jesus never said or meant. So you just disproved yourself. Again you continue to prove you don't know God.
The reason he says “the Catholic Church this, the Catholic Church that” is because he is convinced that the Catholic Church is lead by the Holy Spirit to the fullness of truth. So if you’d like to disagree with the Catholic Church, can you give a full proof why this belief is incorrect?
Because you are mistakenly believe that the word church means catholic church. It does not. An easy way to understand this is that catholics are sinners. 1john3:6 tells us that sinners do not know God or understand Him. So the catholic church is not led by the holy spirit because catholics are sinners. Jesus is the truth and since Jesus is God that means catholics dont know the truth. Here is another one. John9:31, God does not listen to sinners. If God doesnt listen to sinners then that means that God does not listen to catholics. That means that God has turned his back on catholics. God cannot be leading the catholic church at the same time he is ignoring the catholic church. I could go on and on if you would like.
The few who are outside the church who will be saved, are still saved through the church. The servant who knows the truth will recieve more lashes from the whip than the servant who does not know the truth
@cosmickitty5693 so your flaws is thinking that you are saved through the catholic church. But the truth is people are saved through Christ. That's the difference. Christians are saved through christ while catholics are not saved because they try and go through their catholic church.
@@TheTruthsOfOurFaith FACT: Jesus us not seperate from his church that he established, & the bible tells us that is the purpose of his church, it is the gate into heaven. Jesus tells us there is one sheperd (himself, not Luther or calvin) one flock (us) & one gate (his church) catholics have believed in Jesus & followed Jesus for 2000 years. He told us he would be with us until the end of time, & has proven his words by manifesting himself within his church for all 2000 years of history
Jesus and the apostles called people foolish. Is that rude? No it is not. Is it an ad hominem attack? No it is not. Calling someone a clown is the same as calling them foolish. Yes, Jesus would say that. According to Cambridge a clown is also "someone who behaves in a foolish way." So you and 4 other people are criticizing me for doing exactly what Jesus and His apostles did. I guess that means that I am a follower of Christ and you and 4 others are not. But thanks for your comment.
39:17 how is that impossible? Are there not multiple truths which people could be wrong about?? Such as Christ Himself, if one says Christ is a prophet and not God, are they not wrong, if another says that Christ has only one nature, are they not wrong because Christ has both human and divine natures? Yes, it’s either true or it’s not, but there’s not only one question. Your argument is like saying that if someone gets a 99/100 on a test they got everything wrong, they had no part of the truth on the test. That’s ridiculous, isn’t it?
Amen. Jesus says blaspheme against the holy spirit is the only sin that will not be forgiven "even after death" Poor Christology is not a damnable sin ALONE
29:19 You cannot presuppose a dichotomy between it being “biblical” and it being “from the Catholic Church” unless you have significant evidence that it’s not biblical when it’s from the church always, which is obviously not true. Thus, what’s your reasoning here?
Remember that authority has an hierarchy. Priests are subordinate to their Bishops. Bishops are subordinate to the Pope. The Pope is subordinate to the Magisterium (cannot contradict previous Papal declarations, Church dogmas, etc.). The Magisterium is subordinate to Jesus Christ. There was no Catholicism before Jesus Christ, yet many were saved. The Magisterium teaches that those that are ignorant of Jesus Christ can still be saved. There is a possibility (not an absolute determination, but a possibility) that they may be in heaven. On the other hand, being a Catholic is not a guarantee of heaven (weeds/wheat, good fish/bad fish, etc.). Instead of being judgmental of those that have recently died, it is a much better course of action to inform others before their funerals. I also think it odd that random individuals can declare close relatives are in heaven, but the hierarchy of the Church cannot declare one to be a saint.
Being catholic definitely does not guarantee you go to heaven. Especially when they teach things like there is a pope. But being a Christian does guarantee heaven.
@@TheTruthsOfOurFaith That's about as backwards and illogical (as well as misleading) of a statement I've stumbled upon in a long time. When someone tells me that Catholics aren't Christian, that makes me think of the rectangle that condemns the square for not being a rectangle.
@defendusinbattle907 It doesn't matter what you think. What matters is, are you sinning. Because as a sinner you are not following Christ. The only way to follow Christ is to stop sinning.
@defendusinbattle907 1john1:10 only means that we have all sinned. It doesn't mean that we can't stop sinning. You are adding to the word of God. Try reading all of 1john1 instead of cherry picking because it says that we can stop sinning.
Your argument would be more "persuasive" if it were based on a complete understanding of the video and a thorough knowledge of Catholic doctrine, teachings of the Church Fathers, and the Biblical context. Merely accusing someone without a substantiated basis does not constitute a valid argument. It's important to remember that all humans are flawed and in need of redemption through Jesus Christ, as emphasized by Christian teachings about human nature. Additionally, condemning all Catholics to damnation oversteps moral and theological boundaries, as such judgments are beyond our authority. This kind of accusation not only weakens your argument but also raises questions about the adherence to Christian values, as it contradicts the principle of humility and forgiveness central to the faith. This discussion illustrates how complex and interconnected issues of faith and doctrine can be, and underscores the necessity for informed and respectful dialogue.
The bible is a substantial basis. So all you are doing is making yourself look bad. You are proving why catholics are wrong. Instead of holding on to the teaching of the word of God, you instead rely on your catholic church and its catechism, and alleged church fathers. You value what men have said more then what God has said. Your alleged argument is nonsense. All you are doing is stating an opinion. That is all. But if you really want to sit at the table with the big kids then you have to step up to the plate and provide proof. Which you have not. All you are doing is stating your opinion. Congratulations your opinion means nothing. God is the one who is accusing Mr. Moses. It's His word. Not mine. Don't ever forget that. You really don't know what you are talking about. God is the one who is teaching us that sinners go to hell. Try reading about Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah, The Israelites in the Desert, so on and so forth. Are catholics sinners? Yes, they are. The catholic religion is based upon sinning. So according to God they will go to hell unless they stop sinning. There is nothing wrong with telling the truth and nothing wrong with telling others what God says. Just because you don't like what you hear doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with it. An example is the 10 commandments. They point out that people are sinners. But are the 10 commandments bad? No, they are not. Just because people don't like being called a sinner or being told they are bad does not mean that the commandments are bad. No, you are misguided. Just because you don't understand something doesn't mean that someone is wrong. It just means you don't understand. By your standards Jesus is not humble because he told people they were going to hell. So you clearly don't realize that God has the authority to judge. And if God says that sinners go to hell then that is what happens. Does that mean that my Christian values are questioned because of that? There answer is no. But, even if you want to question my Christian values then if anything it proves that I am more of a Christian because I speak the truth even when people like you don't understand it or don't want to understand it. Think about what you are saying. You stated, "it contradicts the principle of humility and forgiveness central to the faith". But that is not true. Does God forgive people? The answer is yes. But although God forgives that does not mean that people will be saved. God forgives catholics for sinning but that doesnt mean that catholics are saved. The only way to be saved is to stop sinning. As we all know, catholics dont stop sinning. That is why they go to there so called man in the box to tell him there sins. Try understanding something. It doesn't matter what catholic doctrine is. It doesnt matter what the catholic catechism says. What matters is the word of God. That is all. You care more about opinions of man then God and that is wrong. Catholics whether they admit it or not believe in the catholic church alone. The only people you can call the church fathers would be the apostles and prophets of old. You cannot call a man who lived hundreds of years after the apostles a church father. That is absurd. A father comes before, not after what was fathered. Your problem is that you don't like what you hear. That is the whole problem. But the truth is the truth no matter what you feel.
@@TheTruthsOfOurFaithI’m not quite understanding here are you saying that the only people who are saved are those who are sinless? (And what do you mean by sinless) Also, if you’re going to argue against a Catholic doctrine, doesn’t it matter what that doctrine is because even though it’s written in the catechism or dogmas of the church doesn’t mean it’s necessarily unbiblical right?
@@society1421 God tells us over and over throughout the bible from Genesis to Revelations that sinners do not go to heaven. One of many examples is Luke13:22-27. Jesus says "Get away from me all you who do evil" Notice how Jesus, who is God, says the word all meaning everyone who sins. Now if Jesus is in heaven and he is telling people to get away from him then the only other option is for them to go to hell. So Jesus is telling us that all sinners go to hell. Again this is just 1 of many passages. Sinless means to stop sinning. I don't mean sin less. I mean stop sinning altogether.
@@TheTruthsOfOurFaith what does it matter that you have “stopped sinning” if you have already sinned? Do we not therefore need the grace of God in His forgiveness to become sinless? And if someone goes out with the full intention to stop sinning, but by our human nature, fails to do so are they damned or can they be forgiven? I agree that the ultimate goal is to become sinless, but it’s easier said than done, and I don’t see how going to confession over and over again is counterproductive towards that end. What is true, as far as you have observed? (I hope it is construed that these questions are in good faith seeking a conversation about important topics)

He actually says, "I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.

Jesus and the apostles called people foolish. Is that rude? No it is not. Is it an ad hominem attack? No it is not. Calling someone a clown is the same as calling them foolish. Yes, Jesus would say that.
According to Cambridge a clown is also "someone who behaves in a foolish way."
So you and 4 other people are criticizing me for doing exactly what Jesus and His apostles did. I guess that means that I am a follower of Christ and you and 4 others are not.

In what way have Catholics “created” a brand new god? And again: are you not a sinner? Because the Bible says you are a sinner.
The bible never says that I am a sinner.
Want to have a zoom call or WhatsApp discussion some time?
39:17 how is that impossible? Are there not multiple truths which people could be wrong about?? Such as Christ Himself, if one says Christ is a prophet and not God, are they not wrong, if another says that Christ has only one nature, are they not wrong because Christ has both human and divine natures?
Yes, it’s either true or it’s not, but there’s not only one question.
Your argument is like saying that if someone gets a 99/100 on a test they got everything wrong, they had no part of the truth on the test. That’s ridiculous, isn’t it?
Amen. Jesus says blaspheme against the holy spirit is the only sin that will not be forgiven "even after death"
Poor Christology is not a damnable sin ALONE
@@TheTruthsOfOurFaith And you aren't? If you say you aren't, then you call Christ a liar. (1 John 1:10)
I'm glad you're not my judge on judgment day.
(And what do you mean by sinless)
Also, if you’re going to argue against a Catholic doctrine, doesn’t it matter what that doctrine is because even though it’s written in the catechism or dogmas of the church doesn’t mean it’s necessarily unbiblical right?
The word "Catholic" was used to describe the church in writing in the year 110 by St Ignatius of Antioch, and was used in a manner which suggests that it was already in use and understood. These writings also confirm Catholic teachings, not protestant teachings, and thgey confirm PETER as head of the church.
