I am loving the fall feels of these planters. I haven't thought about putting perennials in to replace tired annuals and I especially liked the wheat add in. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks yes not sure why we get so many deals maybe they order too many plants. At first I thought we weren’t going to get many this year but it changed fast.
Me too I retired from horticulture and have seen prices of plants triple in price the last five years plant prices have really skyrocket and you get smaller plants. I'm zoned 5/6 in western ny ..if I lived near jaqueline I would be traveling with a trailer hooked up to my truck altho I think I would pursched tall rectangular style containers and tall round containers so my knees wouldnt hurt. I'm going to admit must likely I would probably need to attend plants anonymous cause I would be buyingvalot of plants to the sales she finds also pursching of much needed containers for the big plant hauls.. overall I surmise it's a mostly a good thing for my budget and good thing I live in usa farcaway from plant sales jaqueline fines and I can live vicariously thru her channel.. altho I do have a bit of plant envy when she shops the great sales.💙🇺🇲🇨🇦🌱
@@nattyw495 I would love to have you with me it would be a blast. I have been considering taller containers as well they look stately and easier on the back something we all consider as we age. I love designing large containers they are so rewarding. I didn’t think was gonna get many plant deals but then Home Depot start lowering different plants and finally a big sale. Hoping to take advantage of that next summer as I redesign my back beds and my blvd to be beautiful. Now is the time to dream.
Love the foliage colours in perennials perfect for fall. The price of the bargain perennials makes them an easy add. They’re cheaper then annuals when on sale.
Enjoyed video. Your pots are so beautiful...have you ever thought about swapping out seasonal containers or does the winter weather not make container plants survive ? could you move the seasonal containers with putinias and such by dolly to where you think they could be more sheltered for next year till you need them? Im zone 5/ 6 depending on winter wind coming off from lake ontario and Canada weather coming down into my state.. ..
Thank you so much I wish I could keep them going over winter I would have to bring them inside. I did take some cuttings but that’s about it. Next year I may do more. We freeze solid here even for perennials in pots the pots need to be dug into the ground if I leave in the pots or brought in such a lot of Work either way so I just take them out of the pot plant them into the ground. The joys of our cold winter in zone 3.
Great idea using perennials in pots. The pumpkins gives it that special touch. Bonny
Thanks Bonnie looks like we are in for some storms tonight some areas are suppose to get torrential rain.
@@creatingmygarden I don't think we're getting anything until next week. I sure hope so it's been in the mid to high 20's with no rain for weeks.
@@richbishop7896 I can try to send it your way lol.
@@creatingmygarden Thanks!
