It really helps to create that Christmas feeling now I want to decorate outside. I can send you some snow if you like lol since I have lots already. We may even half to take our roof if it piles up too high.
The snow is so beautiful, but the older I get the more I hate to drive in it. My goal this winter is to avoid driving unless the roadways are clear and dry.
Yes I try to wait a day for them to clean it well I do need to return some stuff to Walmart but I am waiting. The highway can be brutal and just don’t feel like dealing with other drivers that don’t k ow how to drive on snow and ice.

Hi Melissa same here Rob and I were chatting about getting at the snow cause it is really piling up. Luckily it’s light right now but we have gotten a lot it’s suppose to stop soon.
Ha ha quit sharing with us! We are such copy cats here in Sask lol. Skiing should be good this year in Banff with all this snow or in my case hanging out in the Chalet and having hot toddies!

Hi Matilda yes 99% of the time it’s white for Christmas I remember one year probably 20 years ago we didn’t have snow so we went down to North Dakota for Christmas and drove back New Year’s Day and the next day we got a big dump of snow. I put winter tires on in October this year I did it Oct 10th. Definitely need it really helps with the all wheel drive. I have no trouble getting through packed snow. This year is so different for snow we got it late but we got a lot all within a week so far our roads have been sheet ice. I have to chuckle yesterday I picked up few groceries and there is a Tim Hortons beside the grocery store and ski doos were all pulled up there truly a Saskatchewan thing I didn’t have my phone with me such a bummer.

I'm in lower Ontario and usually by now I have snow. I'm sure it is coming but I am not in any hurry. I am a Senior and my fear is falling and breaking my hip so I have stocked up enough food to last until April.
That’s a good plan it’s super icy here have to be careful everywhere I walk ice under the snow and it’s snowing again. I could have waited for snow till February lol it would t hurt my feelings
We got back from Mexico on the 18th and then got 22cm ( 9”) between 19th and 20th. So quite a shock! We didn’t get any on this second go for the 24th but I had to pull my ginger wine ninebark out of the snow as it was trapped like yours. Yes the snow is pretty and puts us in the Christmas sprit, but I’m already over it by mid January! 🤣 zone3 Manitoba 🇨🇦❄️❄️
@richbishop7896 thanks so much it’s been about 2 years now and I felt Rob was ready for a new dog cause he kept bringing up dogs to me and showing me humane society dogs.

Thanks so much yes we planted all of those too a long time to get to this size but it gives us some privacy in the front garden

Yes that is so bad I see so many on the highway on their phone or when stopped at a light not impressed they’re gonna kill someone.

He is a Cockapoo Rob was so heart broken when chilly passed so he finally found a dog that he wanted after a couple years. Rob is so happy.
