Yes, you have to remove the steering wheel and disconnect all the wires and bolts holding the dash on, but very doable. Don't forget to take your time and label the wires.
Not sure if this is the main ground to the dash but I have a spade connector with a screw coming from underneath up through the bottom lip. Right above the right edge of the parking brake pull. Have to make sure good contact to metal, not paint.
