Jeep CJ7 1981 258 Part 2: Breaking open and 'fixing' my oil pressure gauge

In the previous video, I showed comparison of mechanical oil pressure gauge to my OEM gauge. Want to keep my OEM but it shows too low and doesn't capture variations - basically at all. More of an idiot switch until I opened it up and found a way to modify the reading.
Check your ground first, then see if the issue you are having is the range is not correct - then this might be a way to fix it.

Thanks for the video I had the same problem. But when I opened my gauge I broke the needle too
Thankfully I have another gauge. But I used a stronger magnet outside the gauge housing and it worked. Thanks again
