Well, I watched about 10 videos, all of you guys either sound high or look high, but this one was the best, actually showing what to do beneath the surface. A little bit. Thanks I guess.
Thank you so much for posting this. My civic is third hand and the first owner took out the good stereo and shoved in a crappy one, while also putting in those vibrating things in the trunk and messed up everything in the process, so a step-by-step is very helpful. Thanks again!
This seems simple enough, but I have a tendency to strip the heads on most screws because I'm usually with a manual screwdriver. I've replaced my AC fan under the passenger side twice. Once because the original stock died, second time was because I decided to install a used one instead of new one. The used fan only worked for two years. So yeah, always get new in situations like that.
My stereo is currently having issues, it seems like a connectivity issue because it likes to turn on and off when going over bumps in the road, despite still being fully powered on. I've had a stereo that I wanted to replace it with because over the 10 years of owning this car, the CD player never worked. I want to put in an AC Delco stereo because AC Delco formed the company known as Bose, which has superior sound quality and bass, though I'm aware that AC Delco only installs on GM vehicles and would require a special wire harness to interchange its connections. I am still uncertain if it would fit depth wise, as I have previously changed out a stereo in a 1988 Buick Century with an updated AC Delco and afterwards the dash had a slight but acceptable bulge to it.. would prefer to have an experienced stereo installer do the work instead. At this day and age, no one really uses CD's anymore and its more about having bluetooth connectivity and I'm more interested in having an Android based center console. But I'm also looking at getting a newer car that has this already installed.
They have a small thing you push in and pull apart or a piece of plastic that has to be pulled up before pulling apart hopefully you already figured it out 🤣
Man, what a pain in the ass! My girlfriend's Ford Escape was simple to replace the stereo, but I haven't upgraded my Hona Civic's stock deck because I don't want to screw something up. Also, I have a bad back, to out it mildly, I'd probably not walk away from something like this! ... ... If there was a way to just tap into the audio cables to play music from my iPod I would be fine with that.
In NY. Cool video though. If I could do the upgrade I would totally use it. Do you know of any retail stores which A. Do installations when you buy a CD player, and B. One you can trust with your awesome Honda Civic? Thanks man.

I can’t see nothing move your big head
Why not just take the trim from the center where the head unit goes and where the ac switches are??
It don't pop off like that
What kind of stereo is that? and does it have Bluetooth?
It's a Pioneer and no model just before Bluetooth
