Considering the context, you should really react to Samaltau by Dimash. It's a song from the perspective of a Kazakh soldier that was taken to war. I recommend listening to the Tokyo Jazz version.

It's very touching that you and your son wanted to write a song for Dimash. It made me think of this song, written and performed by an Italian Dear several years ago, for and about Dimash and what he brings to music and the world. It translates to "Angel Without Borders." I am def no expert in music, but I’d like to think I can recognize good music😊 and also being a staunch Dear😂😂, I think you have made the great song, thinking Dimash range, style, taste and even his thoughts!
