Nice work and great video. Love the look and feel of floating through the streets I know and love. I watch this with my 6 month old and 3 year old sons to both relax and get excited.
Wow feels like I'm riding, I'd love to do this cycle so much!!! You really managed to squeeze through haha, should still stop for red lights and pedestrians though bro! But well done maneuvering through!!!
Yeah I never realized why Baltic drivers are so angry _all of the fucking time,_ even when driving up here in Finland. Good rule of thumb when cycling Helsinki: Estonian plates? Get ready to die.
Yeah, I'm looking at it: human upon human piled on top of each other, polluted, smelly, garbage all over the streets, rats on subways, pure isolationism and overpopulated. On the other hand, you're half-right, because if you're wealthy enough, you can enjoy whatever it is the city offers, so long as YOU have the money for it. You can buy literally ANYTHING in NYC.
lol wut? It's a shithole because it's like any big city in America seeing reurbanization - circuits of capital and state-monopolies that keep the 'nice' things (usually property) restricted for the enjoyment of the ruling-class and the bourgeoisie. That's why native New Yorkers, the poor, the workers are being pushed out. It's a hardly a city that has any advantages if you're not extremely wealthy. The advantages are immense if you have capital, so yeah, that is an advantage. You're right. But that hardly disapproves that fact that it's only enjoyed thoroughly by the very few.
This inspired me to get the old road bike out of the shed and fix it up. I discovered that it is a 1987 Riccardo, heaps fun to ride but I can still go faster on my Giant Trance X 29er MTB... Maybe because I have hairy legs :-)
I live in downtown Houston and do this everyday around rush hour but NYC is a whole other beast. Houston has maybe 20 blocks that get crowded like this, while NYC has miles upon miles of crowded dense streets.
Nais video and nais Times Square. We're from Pardubice in the Czech Republic and this is how I ride a bike too, but not in such operations. Such traffic is for you every day of what? Otherwise, very nice video.
Well, suprising to see this video as a native Dutch person. Check the documentary I added how we have cosen to build our bike infrastructure. There are more bicacles than people in our country. It is our way of living. Hope you'll enjoy this video and our way of transportation From the Netherlands to America
And the constant handlebar turning would be better? At least that way we see things, on the handlebar the camera would be static but it would still always turn
Glad I live in Vegas. Cycling in a place like NYC where you have to weave and dodge people/cars, no thanks. I like the safe feeling I get in a 3 foot wide bike lane (don't always stick to bike lanes and will ride with the flow of traffic at 20-25ish mph), though I have been hit enough times to be cautious around certain areas. Still think I rather bike in Vegas than NYC though, fucking props for the balls to ride the way you do and in the city that you do.
I noticed you stick to the left side a lot. Is this how people generally ride in NYC? It looks like they have bike lanes on the left there too. Is there any reason for that?
We're from Pardubice in the Czech Republic and this is how I ride a bike too, but not in such operations. Such traffic is for you every day of what? Otherwise, very nice video.
excuse me, are this images of yours ?, in case of positive answer, can I use this video on a non profit project ? I'm designing an app for people who rides bikes (for my graduation project) , it's for educational purposes, thanks c:
There is not effects applied to the video. It is just the stabilizer option that you get on youtube when u upload the video, that stretches and stinks the image in order to create some stabilization.
Nice work and great video. Love the look and feel of floating through the streets I know and love. I watch this with my 6 month old and 3 year old sons to both relax and get excited.
Forgot to mention that with the sound off and some beats from the movie Ghost Dog really up the experience.
this is exactly what I was looking for, the ride, the city and the music Perfect!

Wow feels like I'm riding, I'd love to do this cycle so much!!! You really managed to squeeze through haha, should still stop for red lights and pedestrians though bro! But well done maneuvering through!!!
NYC the only city where the streets are always packed but cars wont hit you
Look at how beautiful those roads are.
TheRebelEye ya I can feel this ride.. very nice to ride like this road.. so enjoy with my fixie if my country got road like this huhuhu
if i would drive in the streets like that in Lithuania, car drivers would probably kill me
Yeah I never realized why Baltic drivers are so angry _all of the fucking time,_ even when driving up here in Finland.

Estonian plates?
Get ready to die.
WOW .. Superlike........ you reminded me my days in NY. I had worked there for a while & I loved it :)
What a beauty! FANTASTIC
He drives like: "LET ME THROUGH I'M A DOCTOR"
Sadly, I've never been to NYC, but now I kinda feel like I have!

Lol I'm from Singapore too sia
Why? It's a complete shithole.
Yeah, I'm looking at it: human upon human piled on top of each other, polluted, smelly, garbage all over the streets, rats on subways, pure isolationism and overpopulated.

This inspired me to get the old road bike out of the shed and fix it up. I discovered that it is a 1987 Riccardo, heaps fun to ride but I can still go faster on my Giant Trance X 29er MTB... Maybe because I have hairy legs :-)

He pasado miedo viendo este video, honestamente. Soy de Barcelona, voy en bicicleta y ni loca tengo el valor para hacer esto jajajaja ¡Te admiro!
Cycling is healty, practical and cheap certainly in big cities. I hope NY and USA also more and more adopts the Amsterdam style;)!!
Amazing shooting and music!
this type of riding is safer than it looks. this person knows what s/he's doing
I live in downtown Houston and do this everyday around rush hour but NYC is a whole other beast. Houston has maybe 20 blocks that get crowded like this, while NYC has miles upon miles of crowded dense streets.
Epic. Would love to see this from another angle.

Dang son..Bob & Weave.Looks like fun actually!
you were pretty close to the world famous hala guys! should have stopped to eat lol
Wow, I wanna go side by side with you! So fun!
I like how the image stabilization makes everything look a bit jelly'ish, slightly squashing along to the beat, like some kind of 40's cartoon.
Differently filmed video, very good idea, that's what makes the piece creative.
And New-York city is perfect as usual.
NYC is uniqueness, but nothing
Nice Ride man
Nice riding
Some real ballsy filtering here mate!

Nais video and nais Times Square. We're from Pardubice in the Czech Republic and this is how I ride a bike too, but not in such operations. Such traffic is for you every day of what? Otherwise, very nice video.

yes, in oregon its a $300 fine, but in new york city its impossible for a cop to pull a biker when he can weave in an out of traffic to loose him.
WOW SO MANY TAXIS!!
Great! very smooth video. How did you attatch the camera to your helmet?
great video :)
Great video! How is the image so smooth? Did you have to use some sort of image stabilization software?
Get in the bike lane! It's RIGHT THERE!!!
I noticed you stick to the left side a lot. Is this how people generally ride in NYC? It looks like they have bike lanes on the left there too. Is there any reason for that?
awesome!!
We're from Pardubice in the Czech Republic and this is how I ride a bike too, but not in such operations. Such traffic is for you every day of what? Otherwise, very nice video.
i take back the mirror question, and ask what company of bike you're riding, and where can i find them?
So cool
please tell me about the Editing. The Filming is sooooo smooth, it can't be a "raw" GoPro Video
I wonder how many drivers who got angry when you rode like that :P
I cringe everytime he/she crossed the red lights....
look than Line of Sight or Corn Fed #3 (=
crosing the red lights is risky
He is a bike rider and thus exempted from following traffic laws.
......Thank you. soo Dope!
awesome!
I'd like to use part of this video in another video. Can I?
excuse me, are this images of yours ?, in case of positive answer, can I use this video on a non profit project ? I'm designing an app for people who rides bikes (for my graduation project) , it's for educational purposes, thanks c:
What's up with all the black sedans? They like taxis too?

did you mount it on top or on the side of your head?
What settings did you have it on and what Go Pro did you use ?
dude you're crazy!
There is not effects applied to the video. It is just the stabilizer option that you get on youtube when u upload the video, that stretches and stinks the image in order to create some stabilization.
Is this the GoPro Hero?
Do you signal or anything when you're switching lanes?
