Crafsman, after seeing the end results of the melted down med bottles, I was gonna suggest you make a figure/character based on a pill bottle, but then I realized that was a weird idea so, yeah don't do that. Retirement home employee: sir that's where we throw our "sharps" the medication jars are in that dumpster over there. *Guy comes out the dumpster looking like a porcupine* Oh well that explains it.
I love your stuff Crafsman ! I watch you from spain and always learn so much ...your shop reminds me of my grandpa's tool shed . I used to spend hours and hours there , he had screws, nails , metal pieces and all kinds of stuff...best years of my life. sending you the best vibes!!

I have never, ever found such beautiful and trippy content that’s also so educational on UA-cam! It’s like an engineering version of joe pera talks with you. I love it!
Minor correction: That's not a recycling symbol, it's a Resin Identification Code: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resin_identification_code The plastics industry copied the public domain recycling symbol (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recycling_symbol) to make it seem like all plastics are recyclable. The symbol does not indicate if the plastic is recyclable or not, and many aren't
Is there anything the CrafsMan can't do? I think no probably not. Always a pleasure to watch and listen to your latest adventure. Just keep being you and the works a better place.
Hey CM! Thinking about Ida... Love and best wishes-- sincerely wishing you, your family and home have safe passage through the storm. Big hugs to you all.
#7 plastic is my favorite, growing up my mom kept this one clear gallon milk jug that had the best looking, and best feeling texture to it.. I think about it from time to time
When I was a kid, back when no one cared about our safety hahaha. I had a doll making toy that came with plastic pebbles and lots of different metal moulds. The were hot enough to burn the heck out of you if you weren't careful. Lots of fun though. Thanks for a blast from my past ❤
As I started watching this, I was thinking if this was in TV when I was a kid, I'd have watched every day. It's funny to me that you're making toys and such because at 60, I collect toys second hand and like to make dolls, doll furniture, and so on, but I also bought this 30" (+/-) star wars robot (cause he's cool), and it's standing next to the kitchen bar. I like toys. And I dig all the modifications grown ups are doing to/with toys they find. Some folks roll their eyes... They're no darn fun! Cheers crafman and craffamily!
Awesome! As a pretty much bedridden, sick person who has a lot (way too many) of those pill bottles, and also happens to be an artist who despite my illness, still has the unstoppable need to create stuff! Videos like these are great for inspiring ways to save money on art supplies AND to be able to reuse and keep this stuff out of the landfill . I can't afford or have room for the fancy tools at my bedside, but I do have a heat gun! I always keep the lids, pull the soft plastic liners out of them and use both parts for things like little paint pallets/water or paint thinner cups, or small drip trays for under small plant starter seedling pots, or other things like putting different color beads into for bead weaving, or mixing epoxy resin in, etc, etc. The uses for those lids and inserts are endless. (And they come in a few sizes) But I dont have the room to keep all of the bottles. But your video has inspired a few ideas. I bet I could melt and make some cool beads or pendants with the bottles... maybe use some old dvds/cds, holographic films melted, or glued in, too! Thanks for the video!
Last year I ordered a t-shirt to the UK because I wanted to support Crafsman and all his work. I put a little note asking if it would be okay if I could get the Galaxy perler bead Makerbot. Because of Covid and Brexit, the shirt got stuck in customs. I messaged him and Crafsman sent out another. That one got stuck too. Since I only bought the t-shirt to support Crafsman, I asked him not to send another and that it was okay. I'd just wait. Fast forward to noticing his new shop and with new pins. I bought one. During a particularly bad week, feeling really sad and low because of personal stuff, the pin arrived. With the shirt tucked inside. And stickers. And Tony's. And, right at the bottom, a silver-grey Makerbot and a galaxy-coloured one. I keep the lil robot on me and whenever I feel bad and I just take it out and think about kindness. Thank you, Crafsman. You made a difficult month so much better.
Charlie, this comment means so much to my wife and me. We were bigtime disheartened when we learned the package was held up. Interesting how it worked out... My wife sent that 2nd package out feeling bad that we didn't have another galaxy glitter bot to include with it, seeing as how it was stuck in that first package. But the 1st package eventually bounced back, SHORTLY before you ordered from the new site, and we were able to include it with that order. The timing on all that was really neat. THANK YOU SO MUCH for being such a wonderful person. We sincerely appreciate your support and kind words.

CrafsMan is a modern day Bob Ross. Bringing the joy of craftin' everyone.
He sure is. Such a peaceful being.
The messages and life tips keep me always steady… craftin my way through life 🙏🏼
I don't craft at all, and don't really care to but I just love your videos. So creative and so cool to see how much your channel has grown since I last saw it 3 years ago.
Retirement home employee: Sir what are you doing in the dumpster?
Some guy: I'm looking for plastic for toy making.
Using our empty pill bottles to create the robot workforce that will eventually replace us: "This is the part of the program where I would tell a joke, but, you know..."
I have never, ever found such beautiful and trippy content that’s also so educational on UA-cam! It’s like an engineering version of joe pera talks with you. I love it!
Minor correction: That's not a recycling symbol, it's a Resin Identification Code: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resin_identification_code
The plastics industry copied the public domain recycling symbol (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recycling_symbol) to make it seem like all plastics are recyclable. The symbol does not indicate if the plastic is recyclable or not, and many aren't
ya know, my day had been alright but after seeing this, my day got exponentially better, i didn’t know i needed this content but THIS is it
Just stumbled on this channel through my recommendations. I love it! Chill Vibes, Science, DIYs, and a relaxing soothing voice.
I'm not sure what's better your model making talent or your video making talent....awesome!!!
They look as if tey have been carved from amber!
Thank you for the information on all the plastics.
You are a wonderful person, Crafsman.
I love these injection mold videis! I love watching the troubleshooting approach, rather than the finished product itself!
So informative and helpful. I never knew I wanted to do injection moulding until Craftsman showed me how
#7 plastic is my favorite, growing up my mom kept this one clear gallon milk jug that had the best looking, and best feeling texture to it..
I’ve always loved the look of that clear orange plastic. There are drum sets made of it that look like big pill bottles!
I just stumbled on this channel, and I had no idea how much I needed this in my life.
Thinking of you and your family, CrafsMan and praying for your safety during this hurricane. 🙏
Thank you for demystifying the little recycle number thing! I've been looking at that for so long, but never thought to look it up. Thank you.
The injection molding video series is my favorite. I love these
Now, practical, simple, and very ingenious… thank you!
This is the best suggested by youtube I have ever received. Thank you CrafsMan for this entertaining and informative video!
(And they come in a few sizes)
But I dont have the room to keep all of the bottles. But your video has inspired a few ideas. I bet I could melt and make some cool beads or pendants with the bottles... maybe use some old dvds/cds, holographic films melted, or glued in, too!
Thanks for the video!
Man I really love plastic melting mold videos. Thanks for this one!
I was just thinking about your channel last week. I haven't seen any of your videos in a long time. didn't look them up but . . BAM !! there you are. thanks man
The Craftsman makes me smile.
