Your Free range chicken got me looking into toy design, you show me a cheap and easy way to transfer my designs into copper plates and now molding metal. This is perfect for pieces in a game I'm looking to make. How you seem to have the exact guides to get through project roadblocks I have is beyond me. The only other video I could find on metal casting didn't show you how to make the mold and I couldn't be happier that my favorite personality is showing me. Thank you for everything you do Crafsman and Crafsmama. You're kind heart and loving words give me strengths I didn't think I had. You are a light in this world and your community is reflection of that goodness.
Tom, this gives me so much encouragement. I'm glad to hear that the videos I've put out have been helpful, and in line with what you're working on. Great words, my friend. Crafsmama and I appreciate you!

This is, by far, my favorite Crafsman video mostly because I remember these characters from when I was a kid and I really wanted a Sogmaster. Only ever found the Captain though. Seeing it remade in metal just makes me happy every time I watch it. Thank you, Crafsman!

As much as I like molding and casting parts, it's very satisfying to watch others do it skillfully. The CarftsMan is probably the MOST satisfying molder/ caster I've ever watched!

Another outstanding, informative and happy video from TheCrafsMan! CrafsMan, this video took me back to my youth, when me and my friend used to get up to all manner of crazy things in his father's basement. See, his father was a fine arts painter and also a wood carver. He used to carve all these little realistic birds of all kinds out of wood. He would then make silicone molds with the same kinda stuff you seem to be using. His had a setup where he would clamp up the molds like you did but he put them on the end of this spring-loaded centrifuge, and just pour the metal (also pewter) in and let it fly! It was really something else. So me and my friend got us some ideas....we said, "Hey - let's make us some Morgan silver dollars!" Some ended up with a little bit of bubbles but some were perfect! We weren't tryin to fool nobody - it was just a cool thing to do. Thanks again for your SteadyCraftin!

Man, Blake - thank you so much! Glad you liked it. And straight up, I was legit surprised throughout this process. That first one turning out the way it did was just a thrill. :) Thanks for watching!
I like the CraftsMan hand puppet, as a fellow hand puppet user myself. I also found your voice relaxing and pleasant to listen to. I have ASMR and this video was ideal for me after a stressful office day. Thank you.
Yessir! I mention later on in the video about that (and lead). I've got to figure out a way to make sure it's safe to melt down, because I really like the idea of using old pewter goblets and things.
You too, my friend! And that's both a good and bad decision, using that name, in hindsight. It's a tribute to my grandmother, and how she would seem to leave out the T in words. But any time you search "Crafsman", technology wants to correct it to "Craftsman". :)
@@TheCrafsMan What a nice tribute to your grandmother, all full of love and passion and care, like every art you make. I understand that problem with technology and the corrector; I also have problems with my name, first it was going to be a channel in English but I was no lucky, so I realized my videos needed to be in Spanish and now Spanish people don't know how to spell my channel name, I always wondered if I should change it but I have registered it!
Its great hearing how excited you got haha just adds something more special to a video when you can tell the person really cares about the stuff their doing
Being 100% honest, I thought that first pour was a flop. I was like "Well, I'm going to show the messup anyway, and that will be a lesson in trying again." So I was legitimately surprised at that, AND that the decal transfer worked so well. :) Thanks for watching!
I have been hooked on your Channel since the Free Range Chicken! You are awesome! My son loves to watch you and we are now going to try to make our own action figure. (After I get my F.R.C.! You were sold out again before I got to them. 😆) Keep em’ coming CrafsMan!

Thanks CrafsMan!
Thank you! So far I've got four Sogmasters from the mold, and it's not showing any signs of being too far-gone. I thought it was "burnt" after a couple molds, but I cleaned it up (enough for the thumbnail picture) and it looks great. Did another one this morning, just for fun. :)

Man, I need to get me "some", looks so useful!
That mold making was really cool, I learned some stuff, thank you :)
I forgot to include the business plan for SOME! "Phase one: Bring back audio cassettes." ;)
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for you're happy video's. They make me smile even on my bad days.
Everything about this video was super cool! Thanks crafsman!
Happy you liked it, Jennifer! :D
yesss. I love coming home from work to a video by you. It's the perfect way to wind down after a crazy night tending bar
Hope you were able to wind down, my friend! Thanks for watching!
Man, you got me trying to make all kinds of stuff...
I like that, Jerry! :D If you ever feel inclined to share your work, post it on my Facebook, or email yo friend: thecrafsman@gmail.com
Craftsman! That mold is amazing! Seriously that method and what it produces is flawless!
Man, Blake - thank you so much! Glad you liked it. And straight up, I was legit surprised throughout this process. That first one turning out the way it did was just a thrill. :) Thanks for watching!
Beautiful work!
Thank you so much!
P.S. I just subscribed to you. (Thought I had already, but did not. I have seen some of your videos, though!)
Great video. So relaxing and fun to watch. Just heading your voice removes all my stress and puts a smile on my face. One of a kind you are!!
Very kind! Thank you so much!
You sound like a more subdued Dusty "The American Dream" Rhodes.... love your videos
I like the CraftsMan hand puppet, as a fellow hand puppet user myself. I also found your voice relaxing and pleasant to listen to. I have ASMR and this video was ideal for me after a stressful office day. Thank you.
Don't forget, you can many times find castoff pewter items in a local 2nd-hand shop, if you're looking for an inexpensive source.
Yessir! I mention later on in the video about that (and lead). I've got to figure out a way to make sure it's safe to melt down, because I really like the idea of using old pewter goblets and things.
This instruction is second to none Crafman! Keep sharing!
Snappy and Happy Christmas, Mr Crafsman! (never realized that your nave is without a T!)
Keep em’ coming CrafsMan!
Thank y'all for watching! Sorry about the FRC situation, but thank y'all for sticking with me!
TheCrafsMan SteadyCraftin
OH SNAP! If there is any way you could find it in your heart to cast another, we would gladly take it! (Trying to lay it on a lil’ thick 😂) Seriously though... I need a FRC. If you do decide to release one, I signed up on patreon so I will definitely know. (Sometimes UA-cam doesn’t show your videos in my feed. Plus, I enjoy supporting creators. Every lil’ bit helps!)
Thanks CrafsMan!
Fun (and slightly scary) project! I could listen to you all day, CrafsMan. You have the most soothing, peaceful voice I've ever heard.
It's very enjoyable, Ms. Lisa! Just stay safe, if you try it. And thanks for your kind words!
that is some good stuff. Transfers were perfect! Any idea on number of castings from the mold?
Thank you! So far I've got four Sogmasters from the mold, and it's not showing any signs of being too far-gone. I thought it was "burnt" after a couple molds, but I cleaned it up (enough for the thumbnail picture) and it looks great. Did another one this morning, just for fun. :)
