You should ALWAYS ALWAYS remove the fill plug first. If it won't come out for whatever reason and you have to take it somewhere it's always better to have the oil still in it.

Ladies, put it on kick stand, drain, use a hand vacuum to suck it all out, this aids in removing gunk. Then fill with bike upright, oil level with hole oozing out, then plug to seal. That's it, ty.
By the way, that gear oil on music is at 75w140 weight. I know everyone recommends to put that 75w 90 gear oil this is what my bike had when I bought it. Does anyone know anything about that application?
Can you put the oil in the top where the breather cap is ?

What is the amount of oil that needs to be used? By the video it just looks like you are adding the gear oil until it drips out on while it's on the side stand.
So is there a specific amount that actually needs to be put in?
That is right way...Till it drips out........PS...Your shock bushings are shot.

Bike should be leaning or standing straight? I've seen both alternatives so I'm not sure which to follow.
I've always had mine level.
C2H6 me too that's how I do what I have that level.
Service manual says to have the bike leaning in it’s kick stand.
I don't think it matters much just fill it until it comes out put the plug back in
PSA: the fill plug breaks fairly fuckin easy if you over do it.
The manual says side stand.
Maybe to empty have it tilted? Then level to fill?
