What is the best budget hotel in Las Vegas? Are you looking for a hotel that just has a decent room and a decent location? The LINQ, Flamingo, and Harrahs are all wonderful options, but which of these three Caesar's properties are the best? In this video I briefly review these properties by comparing and contrasting their locations, rooms, pools, restaurants, bars, casinos, crowds, themes, and prices.

I appreciate how James respects his viewers’ time and doesn’t pad his videos as others obviously do. His vocabulary is very concise and editing is tight.
I love your videos. I can watch them and pretend I'm on vacation.
I agree with your assessment. The Flamingo pool is amazing and the vibe there is great. I always enjoy their pool. One of the best around. And they still have one of the best signs on the strip. Great video review. Worth watching just for the Harrah's casino description - "horrible feng shui" LOLOLOL!!
i agree too
Yes. Flamingo pool makes them the winner in this
I love your videos!! Been watching them all week! Thanks for sharing your experiences!
Always AJ
Been binge playing from your playlist at night before i sleep haha, complete viewing no ad skipping🤑 thx for the content.
Always enjoy Al of your videos. Keep up the great work !!!!
Thanks for the review! Makes it easier to plan a vacation!
Love the Flamingo. Can not beat the location.
FYI - the Flamingo does connect to the promenade. It does have a direct entrance
I agree with you completely!! Thanks for the comparison of the 3!!
The content in your videos is top notch and your enthusiasm is contagious. You have found a great niche that is well suited to your talents!
Thanks ES
Yes, the Flamingo opened in 1946. But, there’s nothing left from back then. The present-day structure dates back to the ‘70s.
The points you make in this video are on point. I very much enjoy your videos and the points you make
Another solid video from the best travel channel on UA-cam
Next he's gotta' go to Waikiki, though maybe that's a little more expensive? I'm not sure.
Don't worry, on to the tropics after Vegas season ends
I stayed at the Linq hotel+experience, AMAZING. 1000% I stayed there December 12th-15th,2023. First time in Vegas, & also tied the knot
Since I've been bingeing your content & loving it! Just curious do you ever go to a show, when in Vegas? I see pool, food, drink @ a drive by the high stake slots.
Exactly wht m looking for, thanks buddy :)
Another great one !
I will stay at one of them next month. I am going on your recomendation. Thanks.
Nice break down on this versus battle. Mgm properties next?
Thank you. I’m staying at the Linq. Thanks for helping me make up my mind
Awesome video.
Great comparison of these 3 hotels.
Great info video, would consider the flamingo..I do love the big hotels though ....when are you going to do caesars .👍
I agree. If you shell out a few more bucks the flamingo updated rooms are really nice and modern. The linq promenade is basically part of flamingo too. So I’m team flamingo. I’m also biased because I was married at the flamingo.
Another great video!
completely agreed
Same here. Married there in 2013 at the waterfall in the garden. Love it there. Are you referring to the Flamingo rooms? I've stayed in fab, go, mini, upstairs suite, and a flamingo that wasnt updated. We are thinking about trying a renovated flamingo this time.
Thanks for video
Who does best for giving upgrades? Giving any comps? You outdid yourself with such good information. I know that it's difficult because some want to party hard and some want serious romance, and some even have work to do. I need a loud fan to drown out noise after midnight so Walmart is our first stop.
Up until like a year or so ago, Harrah's used to have the strangest smell. It smelled like some kind of detergent, although I assume it was the smell they actually chose to pump in. I could sometimes smell it walking by outside! Thank God that's gone.
Another great review mate.. I like a lot of your stuff..
I have a legitimate question for you that I would be interested in your opinion on..
I am travelling by myself from Australia mid-September to Vegas for 5nights (before I head down to Playa Del Carmen for a couple of weeks).. I have booked at the Cosmo in a 1 bedroom fountain view, which looks sweet, but I was originally interested in the Flamingo..
The money is not my concern, as the Cosmo is twice the price of a premium room at the Flamingo anyways, my greater concern is that will the Cosmo be too pretentious and "up itself" compared to a potentially more fun Flamingo??..I do love the high end stuff, and look forward to a few great meals at STK, Ramsays, Nusr et and/or Morimoto .. Or similar ones.. But Im also more down to earth and like the simpler things better..
Now I am a 48year old male, who drinks and plays more like a 30-35year old, although clubbing is not my scene.. I'm more of a sit at a pub listen to rock music and people watch, and chat to the people around me type of guy.. (love a good pool scene as well, being an Aussie)
Do you think the Flamingo is more my speed/scene? As I am having second thoughts and have been looking at the Flamingo videos again.. (possibly another hotel completely??)
Its the one and only time I'll do Vegas (potentially) so I want it to be fun.. I have travelled the world quite a bit over the last 25years (85+ countries so far) so I've kinda got things down pat, but this choice has been troubling me a tad, I must admit..
Thanks.
Excellent breakdown! Flamingo will probably be my stay after this next trip (Luxor)
Love your videos, i find myself picking between these 3 often and usually end up with flamingo. Not sure how you can say linq promenade is part of the linq but flamingo isn't when they are the same distance from it.
GREAT video
Im going to Vegas to see wEEN in March, and staying at Flamingo. I’m psyched! Thank you for the great review.
I literally stayed at all 3 in January. I’d rate 1) Linq 2) Harrah’s 3) Flamingo
Flamingo is by far the sketchiest because of the elevator access so close to the strip and it’s unmonitored.
this is actually true
Incisive and thorough summation of all 3 properties, well done!
Thanks Ann! Hope you're well :)
@@Coolist 👍👋🏻☺️
Enjoyed it. Never been to Vegas. Must admit i like the look of the LINQ.
Love your channel. However agree to disagree on Flamingo. I stay there late May for the pool. It was a great vibe. However everything was nickel and dime to death after that. Very few free chairs. They really push the daybeds. Second even a standard drink of barcardi and coke was $31. Third, hotel check in was a pain. Very few live agents. Then extra fees for early check-in. I paid a resort fee for what exactly again?
The Linq has always been my go to
Love your videos, very informative. Yet you never go to see a show. Part of the Las Vegas experience. Beautiful theaters in Las Vegas.
Random question, Where do you buy your suit jackets blazers.
Have you been to the pool at the Mirage? I feel like its the best pool in vegas and looks similar to that flamingo pool
I’m gonna try out Linq after cancelling my stay at the cosmo. (Was there already). It looks fun and right in the middle of the strip. Also I save a lot more $$$$
Cool. I love El Paso ! Ruth’s Chris
Any differences in hotel service (eg. Check-in experience)
Have you stopped reviewing Vegas hotel gyms?
I think you should me on the Linq!!!
Harrahs has the best rooms hands down. Stay there and go explore Vegas!
Since Caesars built a convention facility behind Harrah's, they have been repositioning Harrah's to be a little more convention oriented.
If you mean Caesars forum that is accessible via Linq Promenade.
Good job! You must be Vegas exhausted. 3 days is enough for me.
Gonna stay at the Flamingo in Feb. Since I hold a Ceasars card
It's very easy to get to the Linq!!!! I have never had a problem crossing the street from caesars. Is easy access all the time.
Flamingo's casino always smells like an ashtray that's turned me off. Never stayed at these because I get comped or greatly discounted rooms at Palazzo nearby, but I'm impressed with their rooms and pools now. May try Linq next time for a night or two.
Flamingo favorite
We always stay at Harrahs but I’d like to give The Flamingo a go next time……if I can convince the missus 😁😎
If I am staying at Linq can I access the Flamingo pool?
For me, I'm looking for a relatively cheap room, access to the monorail or the Loop. Essentially, I'm not looking to spend alot of time at my hotel. That said, my friend's parents just went and they want to take us to The Flamingo- the mom loves Flamingos😂😂
I've stayed at all three, as a Caesars Diamond I get very cheap or free rooms at all three. Assuming room rates are equivalent I'll stay at Flamingo if I don't have a rental car and Harrahs if I do. Ease of access entering and leaving the parking garage is better at Harrahs. I use very few of the facilities in any of these other than room and parking, as I mainly play poker at Caesars Palace and eat at the restaurants there. I do like breakfast at Ellis Island, which is closer to Flamingo, as is Stage Door Casino for late-night snacking. I usually get one of the newly renovated rooms at Flamingo; they updated one of the towers before the pandemic, but stopped then, so the other tower is more dated. Still reasonable as far as I'm concerned. And I do like walking through the outdoor nature park at least one time per visit.
That’s funny, I also have Caesars Diamond and stay very cheap at these properties and just go to Vegas to play poker. We’re like BFF’s.
I am also Caesar’s Diamond but have only stayed at Caesar’s and Paris. In terms of cleanliness which one would stack up best?
@@jakefromowitz253 I've never had a complaint about this myself.
@@kvom01 I can’t decide between Linq or Flamingo. Both show up at $10 a night but tough choice
I always stay at Harrahs rooms usually comped just have to pay resort fee. Venetian can be accessed in 2 minute walk from Harrahs valet to Venetian Garage. I play poker at Venetian and Wynn so Harrahs is best location for me.
Surprised you didn't think highly of the Fulton Street Food Hall at Harrah's. It's certainly better than the food court at Flamingo at the least.
We always stay at Flamingo
Cleanliness?
Harrah's used to be Mardi-Gras themed & before that, a river boat.
I liked it back then. We'd stay at the Imperial Palace, work our way through O'sheas, Casino Royale and Harrah's to the Sands. I won my first hand pay on a red white and blue 7's at the Sands. Used to carry buckets of nickels back then and boy did your fingers get dirty, lol. Great memories!
@@lillianliber1798 I thought the riverboat was Debby Reynolds' place.
@@kvom01 It was, but Harrah's also had the entire outside like a boat with lights that made it look like a paddlewheel turning. This was when the Alladin, Sands, Stardust were still around circa 1990. Harrah's had a Cajun restaurant where I tried catfish for the first time. (i'm Canadian) and loved it.
The Linq is hands down for the young and the old who wants to be young :-)
What about ballys?
My wife and I were disappointed in Linq. It feels like they tried to hide price-cutting behind a minimalist aesthetic. I also hated the bathroom soap dispensers. I will be hitting up the flamingo next time.
Im glad you enjoyed your stay but that room at linq was fucking depressing. First time in vegas was at the 🦩 and i loved it. Im heavy on the Cosmo now that i know what's up but im glad i experienced it.
Personally, I only stay at the linq. I change between district 3 and the strip view rooms depending on what my purpose is.
Cocaine?
The Linq Promenade sits between Linq and Flamingo and the Flamingo even has a side entrance in the Promenade so not sure why you can't include all the Promenade bars and restaurants as part of the Flamingo experience as much as they're part of the Linq experience.
Because it's officially part of the linq. Look it up
@@Coolist but in practicality unless your doing a 24hr stay in your hotel challenge for youtube people aren't going to not use the Linq promenade just because they are staying at the Flamingo. Pretty sure Caesars design ed it so both hotels feel included in the promenade.
@@kristinab3838 yes this was my point. Stayed at Flamingo last year and did alot of bar hopping at the Promenade. As I said Flamingo has side entrance on Promenade so very convenient.
Its odd that he's giving the entire Promenade to the Linq only when Flamingo is basically sharing it as well. I think if you're going with anything on the Promenade you have to give it to both Linq and Flamingo since its easily accessible to both locations.
Ceasar’s needs a modern Hotel like Aria, Cosmopolitan or Resorts
Love and respect your opinions so much!!! I'm trying to decide between Mirage, Mandalay Bay and Park MGM. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Mandalay Bay is the best option, but if you've never stayed at the mirage do so before it's gone
I’ll echo Coolist. Mandalay Bay is great. Park MGM is also one of my favs. Great bars and eateries, plus you can get to Aria, Bellagio, and Cosmo in a flash. It’s smoke free and a pretty chill place to gamble with the lowest minimums on the strip.
Like coolist said if you have not stayed at the Mirage I'd stay there before it closes and become Hard Rock. I just stayed there in March. The rooms were nice and clean, the property is beautiful, and it's in a decent location.
Basically, pick the cheapest room between the 3 and spend most of your time across the street at Caesars Palace.
👍👌
Can't agree on the flamingo. I've stayed numerous times and was awful last summer. Ugh never again unless I'm desperate.
Just dont gamble in those places they suck to hit up machines ceasars is well known as being the worst places to play slots
the flamingo has bathroom doors that slide closed (not completely) and are opaque (slightly see thru). Yuck. good for one , disgusting for 2.
CENTER OF THE STRIP LINQ??
Right, on that side Paris is center strip being across the street from Bellagio.
All 3 properties are undervalued.
I don't mind rowdy either, as long as it's not synonymous with stupid and doesn't take away from other guests enjoyment!
I loved Bugsy and Meyer's,
I went 2 nights in a row after the pandemic re-opening.
I'm pretty sure my room at Delano was smaller than yours and the customer service there was terrible too! I'd rather stay at any of these 3 than Delano and I'm an MGM degenerate!
At one time Delano had the largest standard rooms in vegas... Are you sure it was Delano ?
@@Coolist Yes, guest bathroom to the right, small living room with a sink/coffee station, basic bedroom to the right of that, decent main bathroom to the right of it. It was basically a small rectangle. Smallest room I've been in, in Vegas.
I had a dinner at Bugsy, and the dry aged steak wasn't to my taste. And my steak knife was dull. Sides/drink/desert was a1.
@@kvom01 Mine were great. I want to try their rib cap next. I usually get porterhouse.
All 3 suck because they all closed their poker rooms. The Flamingo is the only place I have ever stayed in Vegas with linoleum floors. Easier to clean and less stained, but a downer. The Linq has the slowest elevators in Vegas. It's called the Linq Promenade, but it's really half Linq and half Flamingo. Harrah's used to have great restaurants, KGB's, an inexpensive Chinese restaurant, a dining room with late night specials and Toby Keith's. ALL GONE. My fave, Harrah's. The bird can be cheapest.
My girlfriend and I spent 5 nights at the Ling it was without a doubt the worst place we have ever stayed. Many trips to the strip and also Freemont. I would never go back to the Ling.
Treasure island is better
Harrahs isn't bad but the open-shower concept is awful
The Millennials need to gamble or get out
Flamingo wo even seen this video
