To save money at the Cosmo (and most Vegas hotels), join their loyalty/rewards program. Charge everything to your room (or scan your member's card at each purchase). If you've spent a fair amount (which you've clearly done!), at check out you can easily get the resort fees waived (and possibly some other charges). If you spend just a tad more gambling, you'll quickly move up a tier in their loyalty program which has great benefits including free nights, free event tickets, discounts, food & beverage credits, etc.

I think the play is to stay at Cosmo during the week and then switch hotels on Fri-Sun to something cheaper, like Park MGM or Vdara.

Cosmo supposedly bought by MGM recently so my chances of staying there are going up!... I just got back from my stay at Bellagioooo this week. Had a blast!
Verbena drink is best drink ever.. just a different experience all together.. fun fact: you can get it on the 1st level but it's $31 to go only. $20 on the 2nd and 3rd.

Those are some EDC WEEK hotel prices! I booked for 2022 as soon as the dates were announced to avoid the spike! I will be trying that novocaine flower drink and the soup dumplings in about 9 days! Another great video James!
I’m staying 3 nights cinco de mayo weekend. Friday night is comp. But Saturday and Sunday still cost me 2100 lol. Saturday alone is $1020 and Sunday is almost 700..

That STK bill is crazy. We hit Herbs and Rye off the strip during steak happy hour and two people with drinks and filets and dessert was $151. Fantastic meal.
Went to Jean Georges the other night. Best Steakhouse ive ever been to. Thanks for recommendations.
Man, the Cosmopolitan is wonderful! You're right about the Ghost Donkey... you'd never know it's there!! It was like being on the good side of the velvet rope!! I also loved the steak at STK! Great review, man!!🙂
Do you have a players card? You don't need to gamble to take advantage of most of the benefits the cards offer. You could have collected points on all that stuff and bumped up the next tier and have offers for free nights your next stay. Tons of other stuff also.

Hey Mr James …I’m in Vegas right now …just had lunch at Sugar Factory…it was awesome . Had 2 globlet drinks …don’t remember my own name lol . They moved from the Fashion mall to a new location in Miracle Mile shops .

I’ve never stayed at the Cosmo but I loved gambling there back in April; looking forward to my free 3 night stay coming up in about 6 weeks plus a dining credit and some free play!

El Cortez is a much better deal than Cosmo. Would be nice if u would review it. Part of Vegas history and an excellent casino and overall ambiance.
I only stay there when I get a comp. Cosmo is still my favorite room and casino in Vegas..
I totally get that you want to eat/ drink well and it costs dinero 💵. My husband and I have started sharing the main dish so that we aren't stuffed especially at dinner time. However, my husband likes an early small breakfast followed by a brunch. So much for saving any money. 🤔

Not my first rodeo. I go during the week as a loyalty member and get the resort fees waived. To be honest it just makes me want to spend more when I’m there but at least I have the option. As long as the cosmo takes care of me, I’ll keep coming back.
This weekend prices are the highest I've ever seen. Cuz of fury fight.

Wow. That’s some $$$ fir 4 nights regardless of where you stay but I get it, where your focus is. Long time vegas visitor and home is Bellagio. Fortunately I haven’t paid for a room or drink in many years but I also don’t eat or drink like you so. In any case, always fascinating spend wise. You do it well and thanks for summaries. Thanks for tipping at least 20%, apparently the new normal. Unfortunately, salaries have largely not kept up with the price of living. These hardworking essential workers make our Vegas trips memorable. Those were insane hotel prices especially weekend rates.
With about 4-6 hours of gambling per day (dollar slots with a little bit on the $5 slots) or $50 bets on table games average) you can get that room for no charge.
You need a Casino Host, you pay premium for everything. COMPS BABY!!! 😉

Cosmo balcony views are magical, too bad their beds are horrible. I just stayed there 2 nights this week, the bed gave me a bad backache. Tried sleeping on the couch because I couldn't sleep on the bed, wasn't any better. 🙁
Also, resort fee this week were over $51 a night

Wow great review, We nearly went to a STK in Ibiza, glad we never it has a minimum spend policy. Cosmopolitan looks like are kind of property.
I love your reviews, I do. But I would sure like to see more information for us mid range gambles. For those of us that do not get villas or private jets but do get nice suites, transportation to and from the airport and our food and beverage taken care of-
