I don’t understand why they had no evidence, she was identified as the person who bought the clown suit, the connection to Michael. It shouldn’t have taken that long to solve.
I remember this case & it infuriates me that it took so long plus that Michael was never charged with anything!! She spent 12 yrs in prison for brutally shooting a woman in the face when she answered her door & that is not justice at all!! Those 2 spent over 30 yrs just living their lives like they were a normal couple & not the monsters that took away a son’s mother who already lost his big brother!!! There’s a place in hell for monsters like them!!
@@kostasvrionis781most of the US trials I watch the sentences are lengthy. U.K. is poor when it comes to sentencing. Very rare do people get whole life sentences (equivalent to US LWOP).
How sad for Marlene’s family. This is not justice. Marlene was shot in the face at close range and only 12 years for someone who had previous convictions. And what about Michael? He just walks? America prizes themselves on having the greatest justice system in the world. It doesn’t seem so great when things like this happen.

Sheila should have gotten life without parole. She took this womans life! It took them 27 years to catch up with her...Sheila had all that time to enjoy her life. Marlene lost her life & her son lost his mother. What is wrong with our system? Why should she get out & start living life as a free woman again? That is sad! Michael had something to do with that murder also. Talk about a slap on the hand! So sad, no justice there..😢

I remember this story from my old town from years ago. My kids were toddlers and we used to have fun events in the clubhouse in this neighborhood.
