      你好,我來自臺灣,我很喜歡大自然,巴拿威梯田是我很想去旅行的地方,我想從碧瑤旅行,再去巴拿威梯田,在網路上得到的訊息是片斷的,我希望稻穗🌾轉黃的時候去,居住2至3天,慢步在梯田間。

    Love the ending punctuating the import dependent and export oriented nature of the Philippines. If only we could reverse that.

    Another wonderful look at this fascinating place, but please be more consistent with the subtitles. UA-cam is a global platform and good subs really help reach those curious about the people and place 👍

    Since my siblings and I were born and raised in Baguio, this really resonates with me. Hopefully this will lead to more awareness of how precious this way of life is and allow it to flourish and thrive.

    I love this! It would be cool to see you guys document the rice terrace farming traditions outside the Cordilleras, like in Tayabas (Quezon) and Antique.

    These rice plots are disappearing more and more tbh. and all of them are being transformed into subdivisions. instead of flourishing these farmers and lands, they're poor and not even given proper payment with the efforts to make a living.

    • @TaLeng2023
      @TaLeng2023 Рік тому +3

      Read it's also partly our fault, we forced our equal inheritance laws on them. Apparently prior to that only the eldest inherit land. Since now it get split every generation, it has come to the point that the plots have become small and just barely enough for subsistence farming.

      It is a world heritage site as declared by UNESCO. Land use conversion is prohibited. The actual reason for the decline is that most of the younger generations left the farm life in pesute of a profession. I know lawyers, doctors, engineers, architects, etc. who are natives is Kiangan and Mayaoyao in the province of Ifugao, by the southeastern area of the Cordilleras

    Some people asked who made the rice terraces of Mountain Province?
    You know, there are people in South China that are called Miao tribes. The Miao tribes live in mountainous areas like the Mountain Province.
    Since there are no flat lands in the mountains so they carved their mountains into terraces to plant rice. Same in other parts of China, there are rice terraces in many mountainous areas.
    I believed the builders of the Ifugao rice terraces were the same tribe that build the rice terraces of South China, the Miao tribes. Their custom and tradition were almost identical with the tribes of Mountain Province.
    Where can you find these Miao tribes of China? They can be found in Yun Nan province.
    See and visit the land so you'll appreciate it. Tnx.

    7:09 I am curious whether that is safe or not. I know it's a running water/moving water, so it's obviously clean. But can we drink directly from it? Perhaps my American-raised ass is ignorant as hell, but I wanna know the science behind drinking straight from running rivers? I know they're supposed to be clean cause they're "running" water, but is there a risk?

    • @nassiglutt6587
      @nassiglutt6587 20 днів тому

      Nah the main/bigger rivers are obviously ain't safe but the smaller creeks that goes to it which comes from the mountains with no inhabitants are one of if not the safest and cleanest to drink
