This is some of the best coverage of this case I’ve seen…. and believe me I’ve watched a lot of coverage. This is my hometown. I graduated on the same day as these ladies in 92. I can’t even explain the fear that this case caused in our community at that time. There are so many local rumors swirling around this case that it’s difficult to determine fact from fiction. Without someone having direct knowledge and irrefutable evidence I don’t think this case will ever be solved. Unfortunately, this is only one of many unsolved cases from the 70s, 80s and 90s in the Ozarks. Someone should do a deep dive on the numerous disappearances and murders that have never had any resolution.

Theory concerning the mom's purse being in her daughters bedroom: Sherrill had been varnishing a big dresser in her own bedroom. When officers entered the house they said it 'REEKED'. That's why I think the mom was planning on going to sleep in Suzie's bedroom (Since Suzie wouldn't be home) which is in the back and she put her purse on the steps. Maybe she was already lying on the bed when the girls arrived. Stacy's mom stated she saw that Sherrill's bed was MADE... and that she thought she hadn't gone to bed before disappearing. This would leave Sherrill without a bed to sleep in comfortably... so she could have opted for the couch (in the report it says that one couch pillow was on the ground) and maybe she decided to leave the frontdoor open for a little while to air the place out.
Cheryl did the varnishing of that chair in the garage she didn't do it in any bedroom.. you can go online and get the investigative reports on this case and the officer said that the garage area is where the tarnishing happened
My theory on the TV is they had it on when they were abducted. It went to static after they left. It narrows down the time they left because nobody would leave a static TV on to listen to. Back then TVs went to static early morning because you didn't have 24 hours TV unless you had cable. They were taken before the static came on IMO.
A local rapist peeping tom and stalker. Implied to me and made many many statements that could infer his involvement in this case. I've yelled from the rafters the numerous things he said to me. And it's never been followed up on. I assume police know what happened just can't prove it. because robert andrew mcgee is a very obvious suspect based on what he related to me.

A dentist who had an office behind the Delmar house reported seeing a van similar to the one in question, many times in the months leading up to the disappearance. The dentist thought the driver and passengers were dumping trash in his dumpster. He had seen Sheryl and the driver and passengers of the van talking and laughing before. So, long story short, it's entirely possible Sheryl was friendly with the abductors.

The worst part is the day of the graduation, the dentist noticed the van and decided he was finally going to write down the license plate and call the police about the illegal dumping. He went to get a pen and paper, but by the time he got back, the van was gone! I learned all this from editaudio’s podcast on the case.

Frankly, I'm shocked at the info here, that I've never heard before..EVER. I live a stones throw from town too. Police tend to fumble a lot around hwre. With the crime scene already corrupted, they still could've TRIED some forensic work. We all wonder who on the inside "drug" their feet.
Tbh Nigel seemed kind of suspicious too. You're alert enough to know how the mother parks her own car and a grown man but go over to the house at the time the friends did too and sweep something you know would be looked into and who knows what else. Idk sounds suspicious but it seems they only look at two folks ex and that cox man
Certainly, the police got a court order to check out the person calling and cussing/harassing => correct? To move 3 women and 1-2 perpetrators => you’d need a van or large vehicle……easy to make a suspect list. The kidnapper(s) likely touched the light bull and left a fingerprint. Lots of other clues => so police likely know who did it but without bodies, blood, DNA and other hard evidence => how would prosecutors move forward ? I’m thinking someone’s wife, girlfriend and/or buddy knows exactly what happened but that would make you complicit ( co-conspirator, accomplice, accessory after the fact, etc….) and they too do not want to do jail time. Case might get solved by a diary or journal left behind after they die => but even then => why bring shame to yourself and family?
