      I think the story that the gentleman told in 2019 is just a moment of fame. Why didn't he come up with the story sooner?
      I think the story is more fake than true.

      Oh, I’ve been waiting so much for your extended version of this poor woman. When I first saw the photo in a FB group I immediately thought it had to be her because her features exactly matched the sketches and the descriptions but according to eyewitnesses it’s not her. But who knows?
      I feel sorry for those children it must have been a huge trauma to see the woman’s charred corpse. :(
      And that statement of “no-matches-found in the commercial databases” must be an incredible lie because these tests show even your 5th-6th cousins. So I think it’s rather about someone or some groups don’t want this all to be revealed.
      Several years ago a psychic entered her room at Hordaheimen and while standing there her “visions” indicated that the woman had been killed by 2 men on the slopes of the hill. Of course, visions of the psychic cannot be an evidence for a prosecution but that suicide theory sounds even more ridiculous to me. If I was planning to leave this world, I would carry it out in the less painful way…for example taking those pills in my hotel room’s comfort…why should I walk up into the woods and set myself on fire afterwards? This makes nonsense.
      Thank you for your wonderful work! 🙏🏻🤍

    What is the most confusing for me is how can someone take disgusting amount of sleeping pills, walk for miles after that, set a fire, poison herself with carbon m. and then fall into fire somehow but end up on her back. This whole scenario is so weird and unusual to me.

    The last day of her stay at the hotel was November 23rd. Her body was found on November 29th. According to the forensics expert, it had lain there for about a week. From the 23rd to the 29th is just a week. But since the conclusion says that the corpse was “week old,” then her death most likely occurred on the day of her last stay at the hotel, the 23rd, or, in any case, the 24th. The hotel staff knew what time she checked out. Even in the 70s, it was not so difficult to find out which of the non-residents of the town were there during those days. Unless one of the locals was involved in the murder (and I’m sure it’s a murder). That's why they didn't want to look too hard. And why is she returning to Bergen? This means that something or someone attracted her there.

      Genuine police incompetence and the fact that the case was complex probably lead the police to just move on instead of digging deep. Unlikely a local since she had so many passports and travelled all over. She was likely a spy.

    I think she was a spy. The sex worker theory sounds a bit odd for me. But she might have agreed to sexual relationships as well, in order to get the necessary informations from her targets... Someone might have forced her to take the sleeping pills. And then, thinking she was dead, or not caring, set her body on fire. It seems very likely that the lady riding the horse on the photo is her.

    • @theonlydjtopcat
      @theonlydjtopcat 9 місяців тому +2

      Not a spy, or at least not a very good one. Way too many mistakes, she was the exact opposite of a typical Cold War spy. More likely some kind of messenger, or informant for the East German Stasi perhaps? Being born between 1925-30 in Nazi Germany brings up a number of possibilities for her later life. Was she hunting, or was she the hunted? I found it very interesting that the son of a late Bergen policeman who worked the case in 1970 said his father was told Israel is involved, and they were told to halt the investigation. They had submitted plans to fly to Europe and investigate leads of other places she stayed. If the story about Israel has some truth, the only logical conclusions would be she was either Israel's friend, or enemy. Mossad, or her own people could have suicided her. The case is eerily similar to the "Jennifer Fairgate" one that took place 25 years later in Oslo which I firmly believe was connected to the 1995 Oslo II Peace Accord meetings between the PLO and Israel. I believe that woman was former East German Stasi perhaps radicalized by an anti-Israel group, or helping the PLO.

      @user-pv8jy1nt8f Palestine Liberation Organization i.e. Israel's enemy in 1970. They were kicked out of Jordan two months before Isdal Woman's death. Most fled to Lebanon, but some set up cells in Norway which had lax laws.

    In all the forms of different hotels, she put the year of her birth as 1945. Different days and months, but always the same year. According to the analyzes that, they concluded that she was born in the 30s. According to hotel records, she was supposed to be 25-26 years old. Let's assume that the real year of birth is, say, 1930. That means she was 40 at the time of her death. You can almost always tell a woman of 25 from a woman of 40, despite makeup. Even if the year of birth is 1935, then it is also 35 years at the time of death. Was it really possible that in all the hotels where she stayed, no one could notice the difference between the written year of birth and the way she looked?

    .What if the woman found in the valley is a different person from the woman in the hotels.... Why didn't the killer destroy her fingertips, only her face? What if the fingerprints in the luggage were planted? Also, the hotel staff could have recognised the woman by her face, but not by her fingerprints.... For me the placement of the watch and other small items at the scene of death was staged as if to identify the woman as the strange woman from the hotel..

    I have to say your request for your viewers to remain quasi neutral about Palestinian hero Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, his killers and their respective sides in the comments of your video on the topic on the Hungarian channel is very misguided
    An Israeli-Palestinian "conflict" doesn't exist any more than a Nazi-Jewish/Slav or an American settler-Indian "conflict". There's, however, genocide, there are aspirations to further expand the "Lebensraum", which are only ever opposed on the grounds of not wishing to "dilute the Jewish character" of Israel. Absolutely disgusting
    The following, jaw dropping yet typical, headline (to be fair, it seems to be a pro Palestinian article, so the sentence I'm currently writing doesn't make as much sense this far as I'd like it to) illustrates the Israeli attitude towards Palestinians very well:
    "Israel demands correction from Sanders: it killed only 532 Palestinian children in summer 2014"
    From the River to the Sea,
    Palestine will be free!

    • @RandomNights

      I asked people to stay neutral because that is a true-crime channel, not a geopolitical one, and the focus should be on the intelligence act, not who committed it against whom. I wanted to demonstrate how the biggest modern intelligence services work. If that were a geopolitical channel, I would have focused more on the historical background and its present consequences, and the actual assassination would have gotten only a small chapter.

    • @balintvass4771
      @balintvass4771 Рік тому +2

      @RandomNights My objection was mostly with the implication that leaving anti-Israel comments would be insensible; possibly just as insensible as doing the same with comments which are actual hate speeches, or contain such elements
      But I get what you mean, and tbf Idk either how I would have gotten around the problem without then constantly having to monitor the comment section (though I imagine your audience is mainly made up of normies, who can sense your channel is no place for bigotry) which is not ideal when you want to do other stuff as well; so I can't really complain I guess
      Anyway, thanks for your response!
