Avalanche is by far my number one favorite character in the X-Men: Evolution TV show, but I’m not as big a fan of the comic book version of Avalanche even though he is more powerful.
One thing I never understood about Avalanche's power is: Why doesn't it affect organic material? I mean, Quake has the same power and she has no problem using it on living organic beings, so how come Avalanche can't?
I agree that she's awesome but I'm more in favor of Amanda and I miss Roya. Amanda is picking up the slack in smart, informative, adorable, and puts a lot of thought into her outfit. She also has the cutest out-takes.

I trade in cash. Google me and you will only get a few places I lived, my criminal record (if you pay), and a few people pretending to be me. Well, nice to know another fan has similar favorites to me. ;)

I assume Lance Alvers from X-Men: Evolution is just a reimagining of this Avalanche?
In my opinion, I thought that version of Avalanche was probably the most developed incarnation out of all the other versions he had. And just like Quick Silver & the Scarlet, I believe he could be a mutant worthy of joining the avengers, as seen in Charles' vision of the future. Well I don't know about you, but what do you think?
I want to see Freedom Force come back in House of X. I'm surprised that Mystique hasn't drawn some of her old friends back together to advance her agenda in the mutant nation. Avalanche could come back with the whole resurrection thing.
