The trigonometry thing I believe is explicitly superhuman, not simply training, though it's always hard to say with X-men because they train their powers.
I always thought it was weird that damn near all the z fighters trained with king kai but only goku knows it. Krillin and yamcha should at least have that by now they need a pick-me-up lol
Cyclops has always been my favourite x man i feel like the live action movies really tarnished his reputation leaving most fans in the dark about how amazing he truly is he is just as dark and brutal as logan and also the reason tht the pair always butt heads is due to the fact they are both alphas who can go toe to toe he is not that rule enforcing dork the movies have pushed on us
The movies almost disrespected his character the most, but the comics actually did. I didn't like them making him unfaithful to Jean in later comics. Just such a departure from his character. It just wasn't Scott.
I always wanted cyclops to have armor... Captain America's shield or something like that. Wouldn't it be cool if cyclops had an ironman suit where his beams powers the suit? That way he could fly, have armor, and shoot beams from his hands too (like ironman).
And severely underused and routinely disrespected. But then, that's modern Marvel. Constructing sympathy for while stealing the stories of minorities, but then simultaneously leaving them out or completely sabotaging them. (Storm, anyone?) I especially like how Marvel goes out of their way, in Forge's bio, to clarify that Forge is no genius on the level of Tony Stark or Reed Richards because these great white guys do all their own thinking and Forge just let's his mutant powers do all his thinking for him.
WHY is forge not been protrayed in the movies yet? Forge’s power was he could build ANYTHING he built the time machine that sent bishop back in time. I loved his portrayal in X-men evolution where his actual limbs turned into whatever tool he needed at that time. Very underrated character.

No matter what, Optic Blasts is the coolest power I could ever have. This is partly why Superman and Cyclops have been my consistently favorite heroes.
In the Ultimate line, His power was enhanced and his energy came out of every pore in his skin. He could do a lot of thing including fly and survive in space for some reason. I always wondered why it just came form his eyes, While his brother can project it form his hands and feet as well....
In the 616-universe it was mentioned that Cyclops can NOT control his powers because he hit his head after a fall from a plane and got a head injury. I think it was the arc where his father was abducted by some aliens.
What you called " super trigonometry" was actually referred to as enhanced spatial awareness. This allows him to not only know what angle to shoot his beam from, but also to know how intense make it, even without knowing how big the space he's in is.
When it comes to the X-men, my favorite is Colossus, following him would be Wolverine, then Cyclops. When I was a young boy in the 90's, I loved seeing these guys on TV.
but can leadership be classified as a "super" power? maybe just a power-power... superpowers are normally any ability they can do that no normal person cannot. kinda like with Wolverine. he has claws and a healing factor. and can he be a leader too?

he is only immune to his brother's brother, he is not blast immunity
Visor
Strong x-gene
Telepathic defense
Breaks adamantium
None of these r powers... Scott's power is to release extra dimension energy from his eyes, his eyes r gates and that's all he can do.. all the others, learning how to shield his mind, skills, leadership is something he learned through experience
The trigonometry thing I believe is explicitly superhuman, not simply training, though it's always hard to say with X-men because they train their powers.
I do wish MCU introduces him as the first X-man.
NeilTR hes not
Cyclops is my favorite X-Men
Thank you for giving Cyclops the props he deserves. By the way Colossus is my favorite X-man.
Came for the list, and fell in love with Amanda.
Cyclops is my favorite X-Men he reminds me of Leonardo from the Ninja turtles.
So looks like King Kai didn't just teach Goku the Spirit Bomb.
I think u misunderstood what I said
I always thought it was weird that damn near all the z fighters trained with king kai but only goku knows it. Krillin and yamcha should at least have that by now they need a pick-me-up lol
Did it take like 20 issues of the comics to power up the Spirit Bomb? I don't recall.
I'm in love with this host.
She is cute
@Fibonacci that's not being a simp it's being thirsty
They should give him Ruby quartz contacts
How would you put them in?
@@jasonyoung1898 like contacts.... maybe lol
He has them
I always wanted cyclops to have armor... Captain America's shield or something like that. Wouldn't it be cool if cyclops had an ironman suit where his beams powers the suit? That way he could fly, have armor, and shoot beams from his hands too (like ironman).
I hope so much that he’s done correctly in the mcu
i literally couldn't stop looking at it. gorgeous.
Forge is my favourite X-Man.
Mine as well, closely followed by Ironman.
Mines is toad...
And severely underused and routinely disrespected. But then, that's modern Marvel. Constructing sympathy for while stealing the stories of minorities, but then simultaneously leaving them out or completely sabotaging them. (Storm, anyone?)
I especially like how Marvel goes out of their way, in Forge's bio, to clarify that Forge is no genius on the level of Tony Stark or Reed Richards because these great white guys do all their own thinking and Forge just let's his mutant powers do all his thinking for him.
WHY is forge not been protrayed in the movies yet? Forge’s power was he could build ANYTHING he built the time machine that sent bishop back in time. I loved his portrayal in X-men evolution where his actual limbs turned into whatever tool he needed at that time. Very underrated character.
I didn’t realize buttons in gloves were considered a “power.” The more you know 🌈⭐️
Leadership is not a power
Super strength is also not a power and yet it's in alot of lists
@@themostbritishpersonalive868 I'm pretty sure that it is
@@Needler13 no it really isnt
@@themostbritishpersonalive868 are dumb super strength is a power so what about hulk leadership is not a power its a trait or a skill that can be perfected over time not a talent
@@My_NameisMike anyone can have super strength if they get angry enough it's not a power
Amanda's super power is stealing my heart
I like Cyclops. I always thought his OPTIC BLAST power was cool! That said, I don't want to sound nerdier than the Nerds but leadership is not a power but a skill and his visor is a tool not a power (as far as I know and understand).I did learn a few things, though. Maybe that's MY superpower!
Nice video. Is leadership a superpower though?
When she said "Bonus Content", I had something else in mind.
No matter what, Optic Blasts is the coolest power I could ever have.
This is partly why Superman and Cyclops have been my consistently favorite heroes.
1980 source book: eyes are dimensional apertures to release energy. 1987 source book: stellar energy and can be exhausted. now: its the 80s again
Didn't know about the web shooter esque pressure sensitive gloves. Makes as much sense as Iron Man's hands free control over his suit.
That happy thoughts blast got me thinking "Care Bears CARE!"
Care bear...stare...
Love these videos please keep making them
In the Ultimate line, His power was enhanced and his energy came out of every pore in his skin.
Cyclops and Havok r both immune to each other but not with their long lost brother Vulcan.
So wait all 10 had to do with his optic blast .
I mean, that's kinda his thing.
I absolutely love the dress Amanda is wearing. It is beautiful and looks amazing on her.
Cyclops was always my favorite X-Men and I'm not afraid to admit it anymore...
I think Professor X chose those powerful mutants that had a natural defense to psychic attacks, that would ultimately grow with training.
I've never heard of Cyclops having optic controls in his gloves?
When was this revealed?
I’m not sure about the 616 universe, but they mentioned the controls in the gloves in the Ultimate X-Men comics.
@@KitsuneAdorable Interesting.
First time I saw it was in the Xmen Evolution cartoon
Great look. Awesome work
but can leadership be classified as a "super" power? maybe just a power-power... superpowers are normally any ability they can do that no normal person cannot. kinda like with Wolverine. he has claws and a healing factor. and can he be a leader too?
Cyclops has always been one of my favorites!
So if his eyes are portals, could ant man in some sort of special suit travel to this energy dimension by crawling into Scott's eye
🤯🤯
The truth is that Cyclops doesn't get much love from everyone.
