Damn Tai, what a journey it has been. I subscribed to your channel after buying the 67 steps when you had less than 20K followers. Since then my entire mindset has changed when it comes to pursuing success. I've received SO much value from the 67 steps and the lessons that you have put into it. You deserve all the success you have received so far! I'm really looking forward to future content to keep me on the narrow road.

+Madara2010X if you don't need to purchase that 67 steps you don't have to take it, if you already have life changes keep it up, Tai do that because he know that maybe people who are smart don't have idea how to get started because of their life issues, so that is a way to pull those people up and make them see how far they can go, he don need the money of all of his followers, what he are proud of is the knowledge and life changes that they get, and i can be sure of it because i am a proof, i get better in english hearing him, the free talks and stuff, i notice that, and my life is changing, that doesn't mean that i'm never gonna take his 67 steps, while i keep the momentum i'll be on my way to get his 67 steps, so don't judge if you don't understand the real point of this

Tai, you're so inspirational. I'm 13, very young, and I also wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I have a single mother, we move around alot, we've had to live in shelters several times in the past. And to know that someone as wealthy and happy as you were, in some way, in my position inspires me. You give such great information and advice that I can use for the future to change my present. And you're just so wise and inspirational. You do a great job in guiding people in the right direction. Thank you so much, I love all of your content.

Swimming against my dad and his way of thinking has been one of the hardest hurdles. He has been a terrible influence for me in a lot of areas and I just feel blessed to have escaped that environment and mindset. It has taken a lot of hard work and strength to get to where I am now. His ways of thinking about money will have him and anyone who listens to him broke and unhappy for the rest of their life. Thank you for all your help Tai! Making my way through the 67 steps, on step 38 tomorrow. I am now at the place where I can stand firm against him in a calm kind way standing in wisdom. Thank you for all you help Tai.

He taught me to think I had to go to college to make money. He also thought paying bills late is a normal thing, and having a bank account in the negative is normal for him. In wasn't until a couple years ago I broke free from that way of thinking.

A myth I have always believed is that wealth comes simply from great ideas. Anytime I see an awesome new product I ask myself, why didn't I think of that? And I hear people say that all the time. So for a period in my life I made my number one goal all about thinking of the next big idea. I was essentially chasing a mirage because I did not have enough knowledge to take a great idea and make it a reality. A great idea is just that, a great idea. Turning that idea into a reality takes skill and knowledge which I have always overlooked. This is the viewpoint portrayed by the media.

    Tai, great blog.
I am a new subscriber since a month ago. I came across your info ad when you talked about how reading many books led you to your success. How having a Lamborghini isn't the "WHY" you were able to reach your goals, but taking more pride in your library of books you have in your garage. As an entrepreneur in direct sales I am very inspired by you, & continue to watch all your videos. I have had success in business a few years back.. After a devastating storm in NYC (Sandy) & losing my business I have been trying very hard to get back in my feet. Maybe I lost my motivation, the desire, perseverance, drive to find my strength in striving for my goals, but I have found a mentor in you & I just want to thank you for inspiring, motivating me.

Thank you Tai for all your amazing advice! I am an 18 year old from SJ, CA, and I'm straight out of high school. I graduated with no goals.. no dreams.. I started watching your Lamborghini ads and started to look into all your videos and webinars. I've gotten into reading, and I used all the knowledge I acquired at my part time job at Lids (hat store). A lady came in one day. She acknowledged my customer service and took my number, because she believes I have what it takes to work over at her company, making 2-3k a month! Now, I have that to look forward to. It's a job over at Transamerica in Milpitas. Not only will I be making big bucks, but now I'll have mentors.. Sharing all my knowledge with clients.. Investing.. Becoming an entrepreneur.. A real chance to grow all thanks to you and your advice. (: Thank you so much Tai! - Michael Millett

I'm alway at the live talks and encore sessions to grab things i might have missed and all of the knowledge I've gained motivates me to improve my VRIN score. I've always wanted to join the 67 steps but South African currency makes it difficult o accumulate enough money and support my family. For this reason I got rid of my old friendships. They are people who are too comfortable and don't want to do anything to progress in life. They also didn't believe in me going for my dreams even though they said they were my friends and will be there for me no matter what. To keep hearing to people with the same mentality about the things you mentioned, there comes a point where you have to know your self worth and not listen to any of that and just do you. Tai, you're amazing! Keep it up.

Your so inspiring. I'm only 14 and I have wanted to have a company since I was 9. I am currently 14 I saw your two hour long video that you out am ad out for a while ago when it first came out. It inspired me I watched all 2 hours of it. I was mind blown on how you went from living on a trailer on a couch to working for free with someone for him mentoring you then moving on and meeting more mentors and doing successful things. It shows you can do anything if you try. Recently I decided to stop sitting down and thinking about my dreams and goals and make them happen. I asked my 22 year old brother who is going to college and majoring in business and education at CSUN if he wanted to start a company. He said yes and I was ecstatic. We both had dreams and I wanted him to be my business partner. I want to do something in life while I'm alive leave a impact in history for doing something great for helping others achieve their goals in life.

Love that you're tackling this tricky taboo topic Tai.
I recently read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and whilst I didn't agree with some of it, my takeaway from the whole thing is that everything is a mindset. Becoming wealthy doesn't have to be a corrupt path and it can allow you to benefit others not just yourself. Changing that mindset from "I want to become wealthy so I can get everything I want and be happy" to "I want to become fulfilled and happy and content with my life and help others become content with theirs" is an important transition.
I, like you, have always been taught that money is bad, money is the root of all evil and this is I believe is a complete myth that we're told to keep us within our socio economic group. You aren't automatically a bad person because you seek wealth. You're a bad person because you haven't sought enlightenment and to look for the happy things in life.
Oh and the get rich quick stuff. It doesn't work. We need to debunk that myth too. You get wealthy by putting in hard and sustained effort in a lot of different areas. No one owes you a thing - we must always remember that.
Looking forward to the next pep talk.

He, in my opinion is a straight shooter and a success as well. I see no flaws in his method, just people who seem to want it given to them, I don't mind working to become successful and Tai has given me that chance to do so by his presentations. Thanks Tai. It doesn't make any easier when the majority of people who didn't have the guts to leave their own security blanket, are constantly giving the potential entrepreneur negative feed back. I think an origin story many people grow up with is that you have to come from money to have any chance to be successful in life. It is an extremely discouraging mindset that I used to have. I used to think that rich kids have all the opportunities and their path to success is laid out for them and that since I don't come from a wealthy family I can never make it. However, your videos are extremely encouraging and you add to the MANY success stories of people that didn't come from much. It just shows me that it's possible to make your own destiny with hard work and dedication. Thank you for your words of wisdom!

I really had to learn this growing up in the success corridor. while in the dark of success I had to understand not to listen to the masses. including your parents, friends and associates. A lot of these people don't have what you want. yes Tai is right you can listen to people for there is wisdom in the wind but that doesn't mean it'll blow you in the right direction. I had to listen to my own circulation. My own inner being because without doing that I get clogged in the bull of everybody else shit. it's my time to listen to myself DESPITE my current circumstances. circumstances don't determine the validity of your inner voice. thx Tai for being a great leader.

I've just started coming to your channel for inspiration but already loving it. I think one of my most negative self-talk has been something like not all avenues were open to me and that I needed to be "reasonable" in my career choices. Hey Tai, I just wanted to let you know I really appreciate what you're doing for people. I personally just started watching your videos. I'd seen the video of you in your garage showcasing how many books you have, but I didn't take the time out of my day to actually dive deep. I'm 22 at the moment, and I've reached a point in my life that has me tired. Tired of being where I am. Tired of where I am in life in general. I've lived 22 years already, and I've got nothing to show for it. I'm not in college, I work as a waiter at a restaurant, and I still live with previous legal guardians. All I have going for me is the fact that I'm saving money to start college again. I recently found your UA-cam channel again while looking for ways to improve myself. The first thing I saw when I went to your channel was "How to Make Friends and Influence People". That absolutely blew my mind. I actually own that book, but I was never determined enough myself to read it. I've always felt like I've been doing something wrong when it comes to improving myself. It just helps to see that a successful man such as yourself went through what I'm going through. It helps me see that I absolutely do have a chance. From this point on I will continue to watch your videos, increase my knowledge through all means, and work hard to prosper in life. To get where I want to get. So, once again Tai, thank you so much. I truly appreciate this. It gives me hope.

I'm barely passing high school and everyone tells me I'm going no where in life, but what I believe is that school and the entire education system is set for people to become the middle class working force, it's almost like everyone is made to be robots. I agree that to become successful (to me middle class is not successful it's just getting by for a common family). and enjoy your life a lot more is to break away from the normal system. I want to be more than just average, I want to be the best and prove everyone wrong who puts me down about my life. To sum it up, I want to learn how to become successful, not how to be average.

Seeing those paintings in the background, here is my origin story: artists should be poor, suffering for their art, and those who are good businessmen can only be frauds. Though historically incorrect (look at Rembrandt) it's still the number one myth in the art business, and people's number one conversation starter by far.
Thanks for the great vids Tai!

You are a Wiseman Tai and your talks are encouraging, giving hope and I believe that I can make it in life ever since I started listening to you..i grew up in a society where being rich is regarded as being connected to some evil powers and making sacrifices to the evil creatures that generates wealth...so I knew that if you see a man rich you should stay away from him and that's what our parents told us as kids and warned us to stay away and runaway each time we see the rich man, the thing was we may not get lucky and fall victims and get sacrificed ..so I grew up in fear and this myth still exist even update in my country...

The content you share helps me immensely. I'm marketing a brand which is in fact myself, reading books about the industry I desire to work in, and fields with similar qualities, I'm learning from you how to persevere to make a dream a reality, and your work ethic is honestly inspiring to me. Honestly Tai, I'm glad you are doing what you are doing.
Months ago I watched one of your videos. shorty after I started seeing many people "mocking" "making fun of your videos" wasn't sure why but was really curious.
then I noticed most were people that were happy with themselfs. and in a way seemed like they wished they could drive a lambo, or have a bookshelf full of books. maybe even be able to read a book a day... I quickly stopped worrying about them and started focusing on myself.
I've been watching your videos for a couple months now and I honestly wish there were more people like you sharing these so called "tips" on how to become a better version of oneself with personal experience and self knowledge. I hope one day I can do the same and hopefully make an impact in the lives of others. I'm 18 years old and still working on myself, trying to figure out my strengths & weaknesses. My wants out of life. My necessities to become the best I can be.. I want Health , Wealth, Love, & Happiness. That's my main priority at the moment.
I don't want to only live 20% percent of my life doing what I love and the other 80% hating it. those numbers aren't right in my opinion.
I'm probably getting of topic if there even was one but honestly I have to say it felt good letting this off my chest, not sure if you'll read it or not but if you do Thanks for taking the time to do so (: I appreciate it. I promised myself two things , :
1- One day I'd make it
2- I'd do my best to give back to my community & try to impact the world in a positive way
"Not Every Needs To be a Billionaire or Even a Millionaire , but EVERYONE Can Have Enough to live comfortably"
I changed the words up a little bit but you get the idea.
Keep the Videos coming I really enjoy watching them even when they are only 5 minutes long.
    Have a Goodnight Everyone!

It's so frustrating to be put into the school system when you know you can do more and be more, I've always had that drive to accomplish my goals and dream big, as I'm getting older I'm realizing those goals aren't really dreams anymore but real goals that are achievable. Thanks Tai for all your videos, I love your thinking and love your videos, keep making them! Alibaba has a new competitor on the horizon!

One example I like of thinking against the tide is regarding the opinion that it takes money to make money. While the essence of that statement tends to be true, what most don't realize is that it doesn't have to be YOUR money. I've tried explaining the idea of outside investors to an entrepreneurial friend of mine, but they refuse to even try. You just can't help some people who insist on following their learned helplessness. Thanks for spreading your insightful messages Tai.

Thank you for this. As I was looking through UA-cam I was curious and wanted to search "what it is actually like to be rich?" And this video came up and after watching others I watch yours also and I was searching this to actually find out the day to day ups and downs because I'm sure just because someone has a lot of money doesn't mean they are happy 365 days out of the year or 24/7. I have a dream of becoming a music artist one day my family is not in to my interest they feel it is a waste of time and I should go to school and get an education. I am currently 19 years old and I decided becoming an artist was passion at 17. I even read a book on how the music industry works. I do not have my one studio because I lost my laptop due to motherboard failure but I still use what I have to my advantage. I even came up with an idea to post my poetry to UA-cam on a weekly basis. The main reason I have done all this research for my passion is because I knew at a young age I loved to write...

I've always grown up not listening to most people who try to put me down and I try really hard to achieve what I want, but lately it just seems like its gotten much harder. I recently got a job so I've gotten money to do things, but now I have no time to actually get anything else going that I wanted. I'm sure if I could move into my own place it may be more achievable, but with the cost of living and how little I make, I don't feel I'll get anywhere anytime soon. Felix Dennis certainly was a character! Ive heard from other successful business mentors (via London Real!) that "conventional wisdom is almost always wrong". Its a bad habit to think conventionally. But, those exceptional people who think the other way are out there doing it and often hard to connect with. Social media has changed that, and i think thats why having a mentor/dream team is the way. Hire people smarter than you. Give people the freedom to excel. Set them up for success by being unconventional (as in "Work Rules") But hey, don't waste too much time reading my comment - im still in the "masses" category! Keep experimenting. Conventional value produces conventional wealth, exceptional value produces.... nice pad there by the way Tai. Very nice. Lovin the art!

Hi Tai, great video. I from South Africa. I have watched most of your video and they are very motivational. I must say that I agree with you on this topic. Without money you can't live a good live, money is not evil, but the shortage of the lack of income is evil. You appreciate money way more once you been in a position where you are unable to pay your own bill at the end of the month. Money makes the world go round is a true saying. The most unhappiest people I know is because of their money shortages. I left a large position in the corporate industry to start my own business in Oct 2014. Trust me it was not easy and it is still not easy. If your mindset in not in the right place you will find it hard to achieve your targets and to progress in your business or even to try and make money. Mindset and the ability to swim upstream is the key to achieving anything in your life. This year has been the hardest time of my life, I am constantly learning and constantly trying to survive each month. I have no business plan of any sort, but I try to focus on achieve small victories every day. following a business plan is a waste of time. You can not follow everything according the book. Your environment is changing every single day. If you have a small business your main focus should be to improve everything that will make you money at the end of the day, the rest if not a priority.

Always producing top notch content Tai. I’ve followed your stuff since I the time I first got your 67 steps. All the dialogue and commentary is thought provoking and inspiring. But back to your video! The koi fish in the pond is a very nice touch man man. I would say an origin story that I’m always surrounded by is how people are always getting drunk. My spiritual faith doesn’t allow me to drink but being in college( I would drop out to be an entrepreneur but not feasible at the moment) I always see people always drinking, spending all their money on alcohol, forgetting their night then hangover in the morning. Everyone moves in this direction and not to rail against alcohol because in moderation I’m sure its not an issue for people. I’m just saying that you would be more clear headed, healthier and have a better outlook if people did feel as if they had to go in that social direction. I recently watched a video by James Swansick who shared his story about how leaving alcohol enhanced every facet of his life. I don’t want to keep rambling on but my point is that like you said its not always good to follow the masses unless you are learning from them to be better. Keep up the amazing work Tai. You are truly a marketing and social media giant!!!

On, December 14, 2017, I was in a potentially fatal head-on collision. I have recovered physically very rapidly some might say from my injuries. There is a common origin myth that when someone gets knocked down it automatically means they will not get back up for quite some time. It isn't the first time I've taken a hit in life, but it was a time people paid attention to. In my experience, it is most often the times no one sees that we are utterly alone and helpless, that are the most Earth shattering hits we take. Physical wounds aren't nearly as deep as the psychological ones, a friend of mine during my BA in Psych days once told me. She was right. It's most often the scarring that can't be seen that's fatal. It's the brain lesion related to a long-standing TBI that ends up being more serious than a concussion or contusion that spontaneously heals; but since societal norms focus attention on what is easily seen, we may as a society, overlook the foundations of life for the sake of normacy.. I choose to be like a phoenix instead. Cheers.
