Outstanding! People just can't imagine how it's done. I tell them it's not as hard as you think, but it certainly is more time consuming than just the simpler straight boards. Have fun in your shop!
The laminated boards were about 3-1/2"x21". I know that because I have some more made that I haven't used yet so I was able to measure them just now. The walnut boards I never measured but I would guess around 10"x21"ish. Thanks for watching. I do have more planned soon.
Thank you! The clamps are from Harbor Freight. About $13.00 for 36" clamps. I would rather have sturdier ones but they cost a lot more. These work fine for now.
I had to laugh in the beginning, the blue tape just kept tearing on ya! great stuff but very time consuming to build, I think I'll just watch you make them😆😆
Since I sped the video up you missed a lot of the frustration that it was causing me. My garage is not heated and I forgot to bring the tape in the house the last time I used it. It doesn't do well when it is cold. Nice catch, I wasn't sure if anyone would notice that or not!
Thanks! That's the good old school - more doing than talking! Other than that, isn't using a double sided tape going to do the same as the masking tape and the glue?
It would be an option. I think double sided tape might cost more in the long run even though I'm buying tape and adhesive but I'm not sure about that. I have used double sided tape before and had a harder time getting it to separate from the wood vs the blue tape. Good point though.
I do make that design in cheese slicers, but I wasn't going to do that in this video series. I might do that in the next series which will be the "Dizzy Checkerboard" series. Thanks.
I have a request to make a table for a camper with mountain scenes in it, so I am trying to figure that out also. I plan to make a video. It might help with what you are thinking about.
Nice work sir!
Thank you very much!
Looks fantastic. Looking forward to trying this !!

love the video, thank you for an awesome tutorial
Thank you very much, it is good to hear feedback!
Great video, keep them coming! What were the dimensions of the base boards and the smaller laminated boards? Thanks.

great video.
Thank you, I appreciate that. I also like your street sign picture!
Great straightforward video… humbleness is not a sin. Love the clamps, did you make them?

Comment faites-vous pour le couteau du cheese sliser?

I'm thinking how to use this to make pictures from 2 boards, like say a bird, or a fish, something you can do with flowing curves like this. Hmmm...
