Nice update Troy & Rebecca. Glad you got most of the pots back, still a chance of maybe finding the others. Good teamwork, local knowledge and boat handling skills meant mission accomplished. Couple of Lobsters too. Stay safe & well, Dave. 🎣🎣👍👍

Hello Troy and Rebecca! Oh, how I remember those days chasing pots around the coast, rocks and huge piles of pots on the beach to try to find our bouy's and ropes. The pots were usually trashed pretty good after a big Nor' easter blow. I fished with my uncle along the coast of Maine and New Hampshire USA for Lobsters...NO crabs....take good care and much luck with the lobsters!!

This storm was interesting as it was strong wind but not the strongest we can get mixed with almost a 10 meter tide and swell all combining at high tide. A lot of others lost gear in this one, even some boats broke up. I don't think many factored in all the elements so got caught off guard this time.

Yes, looks to be the perfect storm for damage. I saw a couple of the boats got smashed up bad. Only losing a couple of pots is lucky during this one.

The first attempt on a higher tide was sketchy. This was not to bad we just had to be careful of the rocks below the boat there are plenty down there.
