  • *So apparently this arrangement of mine matches third party content... I've only ever known that to happen to an MPC video once in history, so this is highly unusual to me (I mean, they're arrangements constructed in a rudimentary program). As a result, depending on how things play out, I may have to delete this. We'll see...*

LOW TEMPO SURPRISE. Relatively, anyway. I actually made this right after I finished Attack on Titan OP 1 since that MPC's blazing tempo made me want to contrastingly take things slow and simple for a bit lol. Also, it had been a while since I released something notably lower tempo (I can never find anything I can work with in low tempo, haha). I explored some of the Tales of Phantasia soundtrack and, though I know very little about the game itself, found that some of the music is fun to listen to. This is one that I enjoyed for its jolly atmosphere as well as its 3/4 time signature. As far as I could understand through crude research, it's a town theme used for multiple cities.
A few files are faster than the others only to fit in a grace note in the planes. It's a tiny detail that you may hear if you pay attention, but one of my favorites in the song so I wanted to include it.
Hm, other than that I think that's it!
Thanks to Rehdblob for recording! Here's his channel:

    Enjoy!
I do not own the song (Vigorous Town) portrayed in this video, those rights belong to their original owners. I have simply arranged the song in the Mario Paint Composer music sequencer program for entertainment purposes.

I just want you to know that all the work you've put into the articulation didn't go unnoticed nor unappreciated. This is great and inspiring; I love it!
I don't have immediate improvements to offer regarding the claps. They didn't sound as good as I'd have hoped, but they're decent and recognizable.

Fullnintendo Thanks FN! I agree, the claps (and other certain percussive sounds) are quite underrepresented, though it's because I needed other instruments to fit those lines unfortunately. I'm also actually bummed I couldn't add in more articulation in the song due to space limitations, but overall I think things came out well! :-)

Nicely done! For me, that game was the best RPG game on the SNES i played on. It had the best music soundtrack and the most versatile yet really simple fighting system of all ^^ This game had me just at the opening song :)

Pretty excited you made this. I count it as the 10th song upload from ToP, each being unique believe it or not. At least uniquely titled. I thought you'd find that interesting dude.
