I just got this game on the xbox so this was very useful. I was wondering how my opponent was capping bases with a vechical, glad to see it took upgrades and what not, although he had them within a few minutes.
I played the 1st CoH on pc back in the day, but haven't had a good enough pc to play 2 or 3, so I'm super excited they released a console edition!
I'm going to find your video about the troop combos and abilities. Thanks for making the video. :)
So far my only counter to HMG in a building has been a sniper or tank, so often my opponent will post a couple up in buildings near the main cap points and i struggle until i can make tanks.

Just now picked up CoH3. My friends and I decided to master each faction and I'm starting with the USF. Can't wait to go through your videos and get some good learning tips/builds!
I've been having tons of fun playing this game and figuring out some builds.
Thank you for this guide. I really only play 3v3 and 4v4 but when ever i play USF i fucking suck and lose hard. This guide was very useful with small hints and tricks i didnt know or think about.

As far as I can tell on UA-cam this game is underrated
Can you make a guide or guides centered around team play, specifically 3v3 or 4v4? they play completely different from 1v1 and need different units and build orders
I actually used this build order to get a 50% win rate in 1v1 and 2v2

Blown my mind with that Captain ability! I always pick him up when I use the airborne. That'll teach me for not reading abilities 🤣🤣

Sherman bulldozer has additional armor in the front due to the dozer attachment and it has the ability to plow through any obstacle, including tank traps and walls. Which can clear the way for the rest of your force.
I'm going to have a dedicated DOZER RAMPAGE video after I finish all of my faction guides and build orders. It is going to be epic!

So I know for Armor Company, that War Machine reduces manpower costs by 25 percent which is huge but so we know how much of a bonus we get for Fast Deploy (how much faster) and Strength in Steel (pop cap reduction)?
If anyone knows I'd appreciate a more specific breakdown.

I’m not sure if you mention it but the m45 Quad conversion of the M3 is also anti air. I think it’s the only is AA for US.
And I’ve learned that most anti air is also anti infantry.
Good call out on the m45 Quad conversion. The gun upgrades on the tanks will also shoot down air. I have no clue how to test the AA capabilities as it seems things just make it through sometimes. Thanks for watching!
@@FitzBro I tested it by setting up different enemy AA then flying in different ways.
Here’s what I discovered:
AA has a about 3/4 map range on a 1v1 map.
So direction of air strike is HUGE. If the AA is facing you strike when you coming you will probably get shot down. If it’s not facing your strike they will have to turn and you will make it.
This has to do with the second part I figured out.
Air drops ALWAYS come from main base direction.
Air strikes come from any edge of the map depending on the direction you chose.

Further testing needed. Can’t remember if all AA capable weapons have the same range.
I don't know how effective it is but the sherman 50.cal upgrades fire at aircraft
Most AA are not actually that effective at shooting down planes. The German AA (Flakvierling, the quad 20mm gun) is easily the best I think. Other AA I've tried, like the Crusader, either don't track fast enough to actually shoot the plane or don't kill the plane even if they shoot at it. You need multiple AA guns to even have a chance. I would say that AA is not very effective at preventing air strikes, _but_ it might make the difference if the enemy uses a loiter or overwatch ability because the planes stay on the map.

@Crus Ader I'll check it out. But I honestly always had a reading disability so when I read things, the words juggle around in my head, and I have to re read them like 3 times. So listening to someone explain is much more efficient

One thing I wish, is that I could have a match where my enemy doesn’t have 10 armoured vehicles on the field in 2 mins

Hi! The talent of "Fast Deploy" does not work. Light equipment should be tripled 50% faster. But this is not the case.

You haven't found a use for the Bulldozer? I did some testing and it is DISGUSTING Anti Infantry. Like by far the best. It also clearly gets a boost to front armor. The MG is anti inf with the Anti structure providing massive splash damage.
Alongside the fact that you can ram through ANYTHING that is not a building. Any car, any pillar, any boxes, any cover.

I tested some other stuff that I wasn't sure of so I'll leave this tip for people.
To Note: AA is also Anti Inf
VS Gun Teams you want anti infantry. Pure Anti Tank is terrible. M3 quad is good. The M8 is good, the sherman is very good, the Dozer is amazing. Mortars work really well if you get vision. Snipers are amazing but the range is the same as most AA/Anti Inf so you have to be careful. (quick note: mortars do not show range but after testing, It's about a screen length and needs vision)
VS Emplacement Gun Teams you want Anti Tank, Anti Vehicle, Anti Structure. Pure Anti Inf is bad because of the full cover Like Fitz was saying, Anti tank is the way to go VS building and you can treat emplacements like buildings essentially.

All this depends on your survivability/ flanking ofc. AA/ Anti inf shreds light armor and does pretty good against medium like M8. Anti Tank dumps on any vehicle obv.
Is the bulldozer any good at breaking Axis bunkers? Thanks for the tips, I'll have to give it a try.

USF is way too fuel heavy which is what makes airborne the best viable option. it allows for you to have an early to mid game presence without needing to spend 125 fuel.
I'm a little disappointed that the Americans don't have the m26 pershing, it was a classic for coh 1 and it was the only allied tank that could go head to head with the tiger.
I agree, I miss the pershing.
