Or, you can revive the hobnail boot, like I did, instead of spending ridiculous money on products trying to re-invent the wheel. Buy some 8mm stainless steel self tapping screws for £2, and screw them into a pair of walking boots you're happy to try this on. And just like studded tyres, you wouldn't want to be using these on bare concrete. You can thank your ancestors later.
The vibram material only lasts for about 10 miles and shoes go completely slippery afterwards, i used a pair of Merrell with this grip
