    Baroness Glenys Thornton is a member of the House of Lords, Shadow Spokesperson (Equalities and Women’s Issues), former CEO of The Young Foundation, founding Chair of Social Enterprise UK and Social Innovation Practice Fellow at the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation. She reflects on her career and the evolution of the social enterprise landscape in the UK and beyond. This session explores current challenges faced by social entrepreneurs and offers insights into the importance of policy to create the conditions for social enterprise success and growth.
    This is the third annual Social Innovation Lecture which is part of a broad programme of support for social innovators at Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge, supported by a generous donation from Trinity Hall alumnus and Honorary Fellow, Graham Ross Russell, and delivered in partnership with the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation.
