This time around we spend every primogem we have trying to get Scaramouche / The Wanderer, and then go out in search of more to keep pulling. His animations looks amazing and he finally offers our account some form of mobility, so he is a must-pull in my opinion...
This is inspired by my own Swords Only playthrough we currently have running on the channel. That account is at a point where we just need to farm domains to further build characters, so with plenty of catalyst-wielding characters on the horizon, it's time to begin this journey as well.

Agreed, for the first time ever I got very lucky and got him after getting Tighnari within 7 pulls. I love his aggressive style, you just really have to get used to his whole flying skill.

For TCG I think it would be interesting to see a *only* there. All I know it's easy to make a only team since my main team is a bow only team.
Personally i’d love to see Java play it since I myself am obsessed with it
@@luzitea1178 yes that's an issue, but you'd only need 2-3 invite battles dependant on the weapon type
Also monster heroes are banned since they can't qualify for any weapon type 😑
My main team is almost only pyro with yoimiya, hu tao,Yanfei and faruzan lol

@@luzitea1178 He doesn't have to use all the characters in his deck at the start. Kaeya and Sucrose are starters, so perfect for swords and spells only! I think it's possible.

I’m not done with the vid yet, but if you didn’t get him I’d recommend sacrificing Miko, or at least not pulling with her in the team because Miko suggested that Ei destroy Scara

You don’t have to use the trial characters for the event, you can use your own too

You can use your own build for the trial characters, but only the trial characters
@@Overlysarcasticfox yeah but you can only use your own builds of characters that are available as trial characters, so for the first challenge you can only use your own built wanderer, yelan, faruzan sayu, fischl, & xingqiu, no other character, so technically you cant rly use your own characters.

I think i got even more lucky because 1 he was the 4 50/50 i winned ( in a row ) and 2 because i got him at 29 pity-
i can already imagine that java will have so much fun zooming round in his skill
You should play the TCG, u can get 600 primos for all the levels, and some more for the quest book thing in cats tail too! And it pretty easy to make a only-catalyst or only-swords team, but at first you have to play with sucrose, kaeya and diluc

some tips for using Wanderer:
His Burst can be used during his Skill, and You can go higher during his Skill by jumping
I appreciate seeing you not just whip out the wallet to grab characters, especially since you said you don't like doing it. It is a little different if it is a character you need to advance the account, like if they made a cryo catalyst, or when you needed an anemo unit, but since the Wanderer would just be another anemo unit, albeit a fun one, it is fun to watch you decide how worth it certain primogems are.
He has lots of contents to go through and can get way more primos even to guarantee wanderer but who will go through all those madness. Absolutely Java won’t

everytime a new wishing video for one of the weapon only series comes out i stare at the thumbnail for a while to figure out if there’s any hints on whether or not you win the 50/50 because of the ayato pulls where he had keqings cat ears on the thumbnail

Probably, you should do the Aranyaka quest. It is indeed too long, but very rewarding. Also, big event starts on 15.12, so you should be good on primos.

Actually, yes, Scara's skill does more than just whooping him into the air, it boosts his normal nad charged attack damage. Also when you cast it, it does small damage, and can swirl elements. Thanks to ascesion 1 passive, you can get boosts according to the elements you swirl while casting the skill (max two):
-pyro +30% base attack,
-cryo +20% crit rate,
-hydro +20 special stamina,
-electro when you hit opponets, it regenerates 0.8 energy (max once per 0.2 seconds).
His another ascension passive gives him a chance of gaining little "arrows" everytime he attacks. When he gets them you can hear a little ding. Then when you dash it doesn't cost special stamina, and it fires the lil arrows at the enemies, dealing damage.
Then his burst is just boom 5x
if you have yanfei c4, she gains a shield when she bursts. give her prototype amber and something like er%/hp%/hp% and theres a shielder and somewhat healer
He does not have C4 yanfei and He got only 1 yanfei out of 70 pulls he did

Java, the aranara quest gives you tons of primogems + a tree that you can give your sigils to for rewards, since you seem to be farming a lot in Sumeru I thought I should mention this

For the hydro shields, dendro actually breaks them faster than cryo!
this episode was really good! the sense of struggle (trying to get scaramouche + struggling in event domains because you're only using catalysts) and impending reward is actually genuinely thrilling

Got him yesterday; damage wise, he’s ok( keep in mind that I’am referring to my build), buuuut as a character VERY FUN too play.
If you like Heizou, you’ll probably like him too. For those you have Jean and not Faruzhan, do not worry; she’s a great support for him ( I have her c2 and boy oh boy if she’s helpful). Another thing to consider is a shield, cause it’s quite annoying to fall from his flying stage whenever an enemy hits you. Thomas or Layla are good options for further reactions. (Zhongli op as always) and Benny as always for pyro resonance and Scara’s own internal buff.
Anyways, naming him Leenborn cause its my family name ;) cause he’s now mine.

Try wishing at Venti related places because who doesn't love Venti, plus he's the best therapist for sad anemo shorties. Since Scara liked his new anemo vision so much, I thought I'd wish for him at the nation of freedom so I went to Venti's statue at Mondstadt and the Statue of the Seven at Windrise and he ended up coming home there ^^
Java: he has bad memorys from Inazuma, so lets go to Sumeru.
Also Java: uses Yae Miko who thinks it woud have been better if ei destroyed him.

You can use your own characters in the event and you can also use nahidas elemental skill as a „shield“ kinda like beidous you just have to hold it and you won’t take any damage

You have to tap or hold the jump button while he’s in the air to change the height but he can’t go lower, and when you sprint while he’s in the air, he will have anemo rockets launched at enemies near him

TCG achievements, quest, ranks, and book:
First
His normal and charged get damaged buffed by his e when flying. You could also absorb elements when pressing e to get a buff, Cryo crit, electro energy, pyro damage, hydro flight duration. Finally when he uses charged attacks, he could then sprint in his flight mode to launch those extra bolts. His e does a lot. After that, you know his normals, and his burst just hits 5 times for high damage. Burst also cancels his e.

i don't regret pulling for him whatsoever! idk if you knew this java, but if you ever use mona to traverse the water. since you are on mouse n keyboard when u are using her abilitie, continuously press W and it will not consume stamina. basically infinite mona sprint, unless you don't wanna make it too easy. anyways fun vid as always loved it.
Scara's skill when used to launch around any element other than anemo swirls the thing behind him and lets him use those elements a couple times with his attacks.
