The Fish General Kokomi has finally come back onto the rate-up banner in Genshin Impact. (And so has Scaramouche). So with our saved up primogems, it's time to wish for Kokomi and bring her home.
This is inspired by my own Swords Only playthrough we currently have running on the channel. That account is at a point where we just need to farm domains to further build characters, so with plenty of catalyst-wielding characters on the horizon, it's time to begin this journey as well.

I feel like you should put sucrose in the hyperbloom team instead of Mona since kokomi can already give good hydro application, sucrose will help group up enemies which is good since they could get hit with yae's skill more often.
You could put Mona in the klee team, this will help since her burst can improve klee's dmg and if you have Barbara in that team they will give hydro resonance which will give more hp, helping yanfei's shield strength, you could also make it a vape team so if your going to put mona in the klee team, just put noblesse on her with energy recharge and maybe some crit rate if your going to use fav
Sucrose also shares EM with the team which is obviously great in a hyperbloom team
true, Yae can struggle with hitting the seeds, so ""salad"" team will make a lot of sense
And also sucrose can group up the hyperbloom cores

Yanfei's C4 is honestly one of the best constellations in the entire game. Yanfei's shielding capabilities rival dedicated shielders like Layla, and on top of that she has access to Prototype Amber, which is literally the perfect weapon for her shield build while also enabling her to heal the team. I've been using Tankfei for over a year now in almost all my abyss runs, and she just never disappoints.
Gotta agree, yanfei was one of my first mains back in the day but ended up benching her for awhile until I got her c4 now she carry my scara's ass
The only problem is her ER issues but even that can be mitigated by another pyro character or prototype Amber
I'm one of the few who build main dps yanfei i mean she does not disappoint me otherwise I'd not have played her so long well now i had to give yanfei weapon to scara so now i can't play her

For the strongbox, maybe you should wait for 4.0 as some sets MIGHT get added to it just like in 3.0 with the Liyue sets

You should probably farm the deep wood and gilded domain, since nahida likes deepwood and hyperbloom Lisa and yae miko like gilded. but if u get scaracoochie, the flower of paradise lost domain is good because one set is bos for scaracoochie and the other is also good for hyperbloom
I agree - honestly, the Emblem domain isn't a priority once in Genshin.
The two new sets in Sumeru are honestly a lot more valuable for this account:
Gilded, DW, FloP & Desert Pav: Yae, Lisa, Nahida, Baizhu, Wanderer, Heizou (possibly - though 4 VV would be better)
Emblem/Shim will eventually arrive in strongbox next patch, and only Mona and maayybbeee Tankfei would need it (2p). Shim is good in general as a 2p, but you could just passively get Glad pieces instead.

Team Recommendations:
1. TEAM
Nahida, Koko, Yae, Sucrose
This Team can do streng hyperblooms & Sucrose is really benefitial here because she provides the Team with more EM, which is a lot more valuable for the hyperbloom reaction
Also Yae benefits a lot from the EM you will need for the reaction anyways, since her passive grants her Bonus damage based on EM, thats why i would prefer her over Lisa
Nahida - 4pc Deepwood Memories
Koko - 4pc Ocean Hued Clam
Ya Miko - 4pc Flower of Paradise Lost + stack EM on her
Sucrose - 4pc Viridescent Venerer, also stack EM
2. TEAM
Klee, Yanfei, Mona, Barbara
Strong Vaporize Team, you Benefiz from the Double pyro + Double hydro, additionally Mona is a lot more valuable on this side since her damage buff is great for Klee
Yanfei build as Tankfei (Stack HP)
Barbara for heals
If you need electro for anthing, you can swap Lisa in for one of them, Lisa decreases the enemies defence
Klee - 4pc Crimson Witch
Yanfei - 4pc Noblesse to buff Klee or 2pc Millelith/ 2pc Vorukashas Glow for more HP
Mona - 4pc Emblem or 4 pc Noblesse if you dont have it on Yanfei
Barbara - 4pc Ocean Hued or 2pc Millelith/ 2pc Vorukashas Glow for more healing

Yae can use 4pc Gilded, that's one less domain to farm and the dmg difference isn't big.
Mona can just use 2pc Emblem for the Er%, the rest doesn't matter too much (or she can stay as she is, 200% Er should be enough).
So the priority would be to farm Deepwood/Gilded and strongbox VV and once Sucrose has a decent 4pc set getting Ocean Hued if it gets added to the strongbox.

you can probably use heizou/sucrose on the hyperbloom sideq so that the aanemo unit swirls elecro so that they can be a trigger for hyperbloom
Nahida's dendro application eats the elements too much from the enemies making it almost impossible to swirl

My advice for ur team would be , u need baizhu . Having a second dendro unite in a series like this is more important since nahida alone won’t be enough in abyss because u need two teams .
Baizhu is also very versatile since he can be ur dendro applicator and healer .
Teams would look like this
1. Nahida ( deep wood ) / full Em lisa ( gilded set or flop ) / kokomi ( clam set ) / barbra ( for more hydro application same build as kokomi )
2. Baizhu ( deep wood full hp ) / yae miko ( crit gilded set ) / sucrose ( VV set full Em ) / Mona ( full nobless ) this last slot is not that good since u need another electro but for now Mona damage buff will do
I would say without baizhu it is hard to build many viable teams past floor 11 since floor 12 is very difficult. If u end up getting wanderer u can build him as a hyper carry but then against without faruzan bennet Layla thoma zhongli he just doesn’t do much damage and have little to offer in abyss .

plus Baizhu's shield works with black serpents, and yes I TOTALLY agree he's very versatile and his heals are honestly pretty good
Baizhu's off-field dendro application isn't great, so you'd need to rely on off-field hydro from Mona and Sucrose's burst, so that team could be tricky. Unless you mean to make this an aggravate team, but then it'd rely on Yae having good artifacts, which probably won't happen for a while.
I love how he got Kokomi and suddenly went into a wish fever spending everything he had to try and pull the Wanderer 😂
I love fighting the "hypo hydrostasis" its "hypo" element pairs well with yoimiya

Very Useful tip for Kokomi: When she uses her elemental burst while her jellyfish is on the field its duration (jellyfish) reset so you have 12 extra seconds if you use the burst when the jellyfish's duration is about to end
in my experience so far it's pretty hard to track her jellyfish duration, but maybe it's just my skill issue

@@hirachi5613 you put down the jellyfish and when the countdown reaches 10-9 seconds you can use the burst. The jellyfish disappears when the countdown reaches 8 seconds. If you have to swap out of Kokomi, make sure to do your rotation as fast as possible so you can return to her and burst. However, it is not really necessary cause jellyfish's cooldown is literally 8 seconds. If you can keep your team alive till then you're good. ❤

If you get a Scara, A viable all catalyst team comp for him would probably be Kokomi, Yanfei, and Sucrose to group the enemies for him. It'd be a interesting but good vaporize team, while he just swirls and does the other damage.

@@fizzyjam I realised that, but its still viable with the shield from skill (not for vape, but for protection) , plus if Java switches to her once and a while it will vape. and its a hydro swirl team, so Wanderer stays airborne longer. I still say a W team.

I’d go in gilded/deepwood domain. Powering ur hyperbloom team is going to be a must for ease of farming and then you can strongbox when u have ok pieces for them - crimson witch or viridecent. The teams I would run is hyperbloom on field koko with yae nahida and sucrose and then a Klee team with yanfei battery mona and heiziou as sub dps
Honestly, as some people in comments, I would recommend to farm gilded/deepwood domain since:
1. both Yae and Lisa would need gilded dreams for hyperbloom
2. you can get better pieces for Nahida and probably Baizhu if you'll pull for him in future (which honestly would be really good decision after getting Kokomi)
3. Emblem, Ocean Hued Clam and Millelith sets are sort of expected to be put in the strongbox
But even if not all of them will end up there it's still nice to invest more in one team and amongst them hyperbloom one seems to be more promising
Also the idea of putting Sucrose there is also good. You can even make her a driver at this point

I think what would really help this account in terms of artifacts would be to focus on set bonuses and main stats. Of course, it sucks if the artifact has three flat stats, but the main stat is the most important. This will make your runs much faster and easier. My rule was always to level them up to lv16 at least, even if its a bad artifact. You can always improve it in the future and feed one into the other.

Substats matter way more than set bonuses. A 2pc 2pc or 2pc 3pc rainbow combination with great substats trumps a 4pc set with worse substats 100% of the time (other than with stuff like VV and Deepwood)

If you get scara (which I hope you do) try running him with yae, yanfei and mona on prototype amber. Mona's e will be able to distract enemies becuz scara's skill, he will get knocked down from literally an arrow, and with yae's electro application he will do good swirl and anemo dmg. I use layla for shields but here you can go with yanfei.
Yan Fei on Prototype amber would be way better since she is c4 now
I would say to try and focus on one team. Pick the team you most prefer, perhaps a team that does the most damage and just focus on gathering artifacts for that team + leveling up talents and such. It's definitely helped me in the past and even now in the present, so maybe it'll help you too!
Edit: I also recommend, once you have your prefered team, to farm for your team's weapons or talents first and then once you have those down, you can focus on artifacts :) Of course, this is only a recommendation, you may do as you please.
For off field Lisa I recommend the inazuma craftable catalyst. It’s an ER stat and gives a damage boost to the element involved in an electro reaction

strongly disagree, hyperbloom is just overpowered and is easy to play, i would do a hyperbloom team with a different second team but thats just my opinion

okay so artif/domain wise I think good things to run would be the deepwood/gilded one since you use hyperbloom quite a bit deepwood for Nahida and +80 em/4pc gilded on chars running hyperbloom
most artifs other chars want tend to be available in the box after 3.0 and with a possibility of similliar thing happening to Inazuman domains in 4.0 (no idea whether it actually will happen but the main domain in Inazuma I can think of this account wanting is the clam set one where we don't have def scaling catalysts, this account doesn't seem to particularly want even the emblem (it's good on Mona and as a 2pc on energy hungry chars (and I guess if you felt like running a burst only Klee or Lisa) shimenawa's a good 2pc but 4pc for catalyst chars is useful on like Scara and that's kinda it)
basically I'd focus on deepwood domain and boss drops at least until Fontaine is up while recycling artifs

I was literally just watching another video of yours while wondering when you were gonna pull for fishlady again. Congrats on getting kokonut 🎉
Okay, so to start, 100% build up your Yanfei more, specifically as a shielder. Her shielding capabilities are the best out of all the catalyst characters so far and are comparable to that of Layla's and other dedicated shielders. Baizhu's shield isn't great as it's paper-thin, however on his next rerun I do recommend that you pull for him, as Dendro is the best element in the game at the moment, and having a second dendro could let you build a team other than your Hyperbloom team. e.g an aggravate yae team, a burgeon team, etc
Back to Yanfei, her best in slot for this playstyle is Prototype Amber, since it gives a boat-load of HP and the emergency heal is excellent as well, however, I wouldn't take the one you have already from Kokomi, since she really wants that HP too. Making a second one isn't 100% necessary, as you could use something like Thrilling Tales, but her shield scales solely off of HP and not talent level or anything so she needs as much as she can get, and besides out of all the other craftable catalysts, they don't really provide much more use. Mappa Mare is underwhelming in both terms of EM and pure damage, the Hakushin Ring is only really good for electro characters, and the sumeru craftable is very niche, sacrificing ATK for EM.
Artifacts for Tankfei are simple, a 2-piece HP set, and a 2-piece Emblem would do her nicely. I wouldn't grind the HP set domains though, as for the Tenacity one, Pale Flame is useless on catalyst users, and the other one, Nyphm's Dream is very niche, although it's 2-piece could be decent for someone. I'd wait until 4.0 and hope they do a strongbox update to include Tenacity of The Millileth, which is likely.
As for your Klee team as a whole, I think keeping it with Klee, Mona, Yanfei and Sucrose is good, as once you have a Tankfei build up and running well you won't need Barbara, as her shields and heals can keep you alive long enough to kill everything quickly. Sucrose is good, as all she needs from here is 4-piece Viridescent and you're good. Mona, however, is a tricky one.
I've personally used Mona in the past quite a lot and she can be AMAZING if you build her right. You want Favonius Codex on her, since she really wants ER, 4-piece Emblem is amazing, but can be switched for 4-piece Noblesse. You want an ER sands, Hydro goblet, and with the Fav Codex, a crit rate circlet. With this, she will do massive damage with her burst (which should be a main priority to get to at least level 8 if you haven't already) and additionally help battery your team and keep Yanfei healthy with a steady supply of energy.
And here's the star of the show, Klee. Crimson Witch is a great set for her, but unless you're willing to sell your soul to that domain, you should go for a 4-piece Wanderer's set, as it greatly benefits her charged attacks and gives a nice bit of EM. Her weapon is perfect for her (considering it's a 5 star weapon with crit-), and you need to level her talents a bit more.
If you keep this team, you'll have heals, a shield, viridescent shred, Mona's damage boost, a lot of hydro for vaporizes (especially if you swirl hydro with Sucrose's burst, and a powerful charge attack DPS.
Your Hyperbloom team is perfect, however you could slot in Heizou (or Wanderer if you get him) as your fourth instead of Barbara to use as a driver for your damage. Since Kokomi provides enough hydro application and healing, Barbara is simply just wasting away, and Wanderer or Heizou can provide crowd control and extra damage. Otherwise, you could build Yae slightly more DPS-like and use her onfield at the sacrifice of less hyperbloom damage, but even so, right now it's still perfect.

There are videos on youtube about artifact farming routes, there are centain places and objects that when you interact with them give a couple of 1-3 star artifacts that can be used for fodder

There is an energy recharge catalyst if you consume the one fox mask from the cleansing quest with the shrine maiden (it does wonders for my miko but its also great on my sucrose)

i think the team you should focus on most is a klee hyper, with sucrose heizou and mona, sucrose and heizou for grouping, mona for hydro application, and if you wanted you could swap one of the anemos for yanfei for the 2 pyro bonus and a shield, yanfei works extremely well at c4 with prototype as well.
if you use koko ult during kok jelly fish it refresh the amount of time jelly on field so if you time right it 100% (and higher) uptime

1.Go to the place of the electro oceanid
2.Sacrifice Yae Miko with fall damage
3.Just pull in Inazuma while calling him wanderer (not scaramouche!)

You should use kokomi with tenacity for no dendro teams and barbara or kokomi can use instructor on dendro teams (is a 4 star set but is really good with dendro)
My summons for kokomi were really crazy. First I spent 30 of my saved wishes on her just to get dehya then level dehya just to get another one on standerd right after. And then about 1 week later after exploring my already explored map I did 17 pulls and finally got her!! It was really lucky cuz I thought I would never get her until her next one or not want her anymore lol
i think that you could put hyper-bloom in the first side with either kokomi, yae, nahida and lisa or kokomi, mona, yae and nahida.
as for the second side you could do vaporize with klee, yanfei and double hydro for more barbara heal and mona bonus or instead of mona put sucrose.

I'll highly recommend you to try tazer Sucrose (Sucrose, Miko, Mona + flexslot). Swirl is transformative, so no need to level her talents. You'll get good crowd control which will help you survive, and damage will be fine

Ever since the Erudition only video I’ve been looking at your youtube and and twitch For days and today I didn’t and you posted it
My pick in teams would probably be as follows:
Barbara on-field, Nahida, Lisa, Yae Miko for hyperbloom (and the extra electro er works for Lisa well ig, this may be a little weak on field dmg but the hyperbloom and ocean hued should work so worth a try) and then Klee on field with Kokomi, Yanfei and Sucrose (swirl vaporize with the pyro resonance no interruption thx to shield and Kokos burst whenever pyro doesn't work)
There are some other options ofc but that is a pretty good balance I can think of. Or swapping Koko and Barbara but then you'd have to be very careful to get Barbaras hydro to swirl into Sucroses burst.
As for sets. Idk Klee dps, kokomi and barbara clam, Sucrose VV obviously, Nahida Deepwood, Yanfei either both hp sets or hp and emblem, lisa emblem, Yae Miko either gambler (4star) and em set or the paradise lost or whatever it's called.
For weapons... huh. What do you even have but anyway Klee can have any dps weapon, barbara and kokomi thrilling tales, yanfei and prbly Lisa as well on er, Sucrose and Yae Miko on em and Nahida with either the crit dmg whats-it-called with the 3 songs or also em

We literally just had the same thing. I didn't get Kokomi on her rerun before, 8 versions later, she finally CAME HOME!
KOKOMRADES THE TIME HAS COME
Artifacts are important, yes. But also talents are guaranteed upgrades for your characters. For the characters you only want the elemental application, it is not so important to upgrade them. So you could level up the talents for Yae (more damage with E and burst), Kokomi (more healing with E and burst), Mona (the only important talent is the burst, really), Nahida (E and burst for better damage and buffs) and if needed Klee's talents, although she's the better built one.
For teams, you can use:
Team 1: hyperbloom with Nahida (4 pc deepwood, full em and a little bit of crit rate, and sacrificial catalyst), Lisa (full em, she can use 4 pc gilded with an energy recharge sands if needed, and the 3 star em catalyst), Kokomi (4 pc ocean hued and the hp catalyst she already has), and Yae (focused in dmg, with 2 thundering fury and 2 pc atk set or 4 pc gilded dreams as well but dps, any em or crit dmg/crit weapon is nice on her)
Team 2: Klee (dps with 4 pc pyro set or 2 pc pyro and 2 pc atk), Mona (4 pc emblem and favonius), Tankfei (full hp with 2 pc vourukasha and 2 pc tenacity OR 4 pc noblesse. Ofc, you can use an energy recharge sands for a better rotation and ER substats while the rest is pure hp, plus the craftable hp catalyst) and Barbara (if you need even more healing than already provided with Yanfei) OR Sucrose (for em transfer, 4 pc viridescent with full em and could have an energy recharge sands or another favonius codex).
If you want a Heizou/Wanderer team, you could use him with Yae, Tankfei and Mona. Hope this helps you!

For teams you could do Nahida, Kokomi, klee, Yanfei for a burgeon team (yanfei built for shield)
Then for the other half, Miko, Lisa, Heizou, Barbara.
There are some craftable you can get that could help:
-Hakushin ring from inazuma
-fruit of fulfillment from the aranara quest (yeah sorry qwq)
For team comps i've been using sucrose, yae, nahida and kokomi.
Yae is on 4pc gilded
Nahida 4pc deepwood
Kokomi 4pc clam
Sucrose 4pc vv
Glided and deepwood domain as well as the paradise lost one are more resin efficient for you since you can use both sets.

If you get Wanderer I would suggest using Yae, C4 Yanfei, and Barbra/Kokomi. If you swirl electro with wanderer skill he’ll get more ER. Pyro is more atk. And hydro keeps his skill up longer. If a Cryo catalyst ever comes out then I would switch either yae or Barbara for it since cyro gives more crit rate when swirled with skill. Widsith is a good weapon as f2p. LP is his second best but it’s better with Klee and widsith with wanderer. Wanderer can do good damage without any supports if built right. He can be used as a burst dps where you just switch in use E, use Q, switch back out.

For artifact sets on your hyperbloom side here are some:
Nahida - 4 pc deepwood for supportive/off field - gilded if she’s a semi dps - stack EM if all else fails
Kokomi - she can run the clam set if you want some extra damage but tenacity is an AMAZING set on her to buff others (she can also hold deep wood)
Mona - I’m not quite sure but nobless or any other supportive sets are very good on her
Yae miko - 4pc gilded is best in slot but you can do a 2pc EM and 2pc ATK or 2pc thundering fury for her
*Remember for starting out main stats are much more important then sub stats*

here's a fun challenge for you
throughout the archon quest in fontaine, only use yanfei.
hyperbloom: koko (clam if you need healing, flowers of paradise lost for bloom dmg), nahida (deepwood), yae miko (flowers of paradise lost), sucrose (VV). make sure yae has lots of EM for hyperbloom procs
other side: heizou (you could use the scara artifact set if you got some while farming for FOPL, otherwise just keep whatever you have on him), yanfei (tenacity of the millileth or noblesse), barbara (clam), mona (emblem). stack ER on yanfei and mona for consistent shields and buffs, full DPS build for heizou
a really fun team comp you can try is klee, nahida, yae miko, mona
ive got a quick tip for playing as heizou
if you wanna get his stacks up higher you will use his charged attack since i heard it has no icd ^^
wanderer would be so much fun because hes amazing at getting to places youre not supposed to which is your specialty lol

i'm not terribly good at theory-crafting or teambuilding myself and i'm sure there are going to be comments with better set-ups but yeah, this is what i came up with!
team 1 would be a hyperbloom comp
nahida on 4pc deepwood for obvious reasons
yae miko on 4pc flop or 2pc em stuff, just stack em (4pc gilded is more for aggravate miko i think)
sucrose for grouping enemies since ive noticed that my yae doesn't consistently trigger hyperbloom/hit the bloom cores, so sucrose's cc might help there, 4pc vv for more hydro or electro dmg from yae and koko ig - also, any additional em from her passives is good for dendro reactions
koko on a healer build and for hydro application
team 2 is a mess lmao
dps klee (or heizou)
tankfei, so a noblesse build and ttds, no prototype amber needed bc barbara is here
mona as a burst support, sub dps kind of unit ig - 4pc emblem in that case, widsith would be good if you can spare one or a fav codex since emblem scales on er and mona gains a hydro dmg bonus from her er stat i believe
barbara for heals and more hydro application - one constellation makes the hydro ring from her skill give a hydro dmg bonus, which would be good for mona
-> probably no consistent vapes, but yeah, that's the best i could do
otherwise i'd suggest pulling for baizhu and making a klee burgeon/burning comp with klee, yanfei, mona/barbara/koko and baizhu OR if you get a wanderer one of these days, then constructing a comp around him, including the aforementioned characters for example (maybe also lisa, for her def shred passive)
